"Well I see you're having a lot of fun so I'm not gonna ruin this for you." I say with a fake smile.

"Oh yeah, you're right, also you won't be able to breathe here comparing your height to their's."

I. Am. Going. To. Kill. Him. Right. Now.

Just relax Ashley you know he's not worth it. And you are tall and all. remember Jacob's face when you tell him stupid jokes.

I laugh to myself at that.

"So you're lunatic too! I gotta run for my life then buh-bye!" And with that he leaves me.

He's such an annoying person.

I decide to go to the park to clear my mind, where me and Jacob used to go in school days.. that place is like heaven to me, its soft green grass and beautiful flowers smell so good. Back when we were in highschool, I used to come here with Jacob and we didn't get tired or bored at all, we listened to music while he pushed me on the swing. We laughed on each other's stupid jokes.
He was a true gentleman. Still.
every inch of him was beautiful, his eyes, his hair, his sweet smile and dimples, if you let me watch him all day I won't get bored at all. Those days were really perfect.

When we graduated, everything changed, he became so busy with his father's company and we barely talked, until I started working at the cafe, he came almost every week to drink his morning coffee and that was the most beautiful view I've ever seen in my life. Jacob drinking coffee. But still, our friendship isn't the same anymore. And I intend to fix it, because I love him, always have and always will.

I reach the park, where I come every time I get upset, just the image of Jacob smiling in my head makes me feel better.
It's empty, no one is here except for me. I sit down on the wooden bench, I take off my shoes and put them on the soft wet grass.

Don't know when and how but I manage to fall asleep.

I turn my head to see that Jacob isn't swinging me anymore. Instead, he's lying like a victim on the ground, his hands on his head.
Oh. My. God. I didn't know I pushed him too strong and made him fall!

I just cant hold it anymore. I burst into laughter.
When did I become capable of actually making JACOB- the muscle guy fall????

"Shut up!"

"You should have seen yourself in that position!" I say laughing.

"You're gonna regret this."

"Oh really? And how would you make me regret this sir?"

"By doing this."
He comes and starts tickling me by my waist.

He knows I'm so ticklish and he's using it against me!

"Stop!!!" I say dying of laughter.

"Not until you apologize."

"Stop please I'm gonna die!"

"Apologize!"

"I'M SORRY!" I say not able to breathe.

We lie down on the grass laughing and watching children as they play.

"Ashley?"

I open one eye to see who woke me up.

"J-Jacob!"

"Hey girl where have you been? I went to the cafe this morning and Khloe told me that you're not working there anymore."

"Yeah I got a new job as a designer in a company."

"Congratulations! I'm so happy you made your dream come true! Which company?"

"Red Rose."

"Oh so you're working for my aunt!"

WHAT?! No no it must be my ears, I can't hear clearly sometimes.

"S-sorry what?"

"My aunt Grace Williams is the Red Rose owner."

Okay I've had enough surprises for the week! Next time they're gonna give me a heart attack!!!!!

"REALLY?"

Whoops, seems like I lost control of my tone. And yelled at him.

Don't worry you're not the only one that makes stupid things.

"Yeah, she's so nice isn't she?"

"Y-yeah she's great! And that makes Jude your--"

"Cousin. Yes. So I guess you've already met him."

"I did. Is that a problem?"

"Nope. It's just that we're not that close at the moment." He says that with a blank expression.

"Oh.."

"So what are you doing here anyway?" I try to change the subject because it seems to me that he's hurt and he doesn't want to talk about it.

"I come here often. It reminds me of our lovely high school days. Those days were the best." He says giving me his charming smile that shows off his cute dimples.

How can he be so charming?! Look at those eyes! he always looks good!
Only if he knew that I love him..

"Me too, I come here a lot." I say smiling and looking into his pretty greyish blue eyes.

My heart melts everytime I look at him.

"Um- it's getting late and I'll walk you home, you don't want your parents to worry and I don't want you to walk alone in the dark." He says breaking the silence.

"Okay."

"And I miss Jake! I haven't seen him in like centuries. We need to play basketball together."

"Yeah of course you don't see him since he sleeps all day like a panda." I say rolling my eyes.

"You can come over whenever you want, as long as you can get him out of bed." I say smiling and he laughs.

That sweet laugh of his.

"You know once I woke up, went to the bathroom to find a pretty blondie brushing her teeth with my toothbrush!"

"Oh my god did that really happen?!" He says laughing.

"Yeah! I was too shocked to react then and I just closed the door and went to slap Jake on his face!"

We kept talking and laughing until we reached my house.

He hugged me for like 5 second but it felt like years, I felt so safe in his arms. He kissed my forehead.

"Goodnight. See you soon?"

"Sure!" I say smiling and enter the house.

I am so hungry and if I don't eat right now I would probably eat anyone who's in my way.

I go to the kitchen to find my brother sitting there eating a freezed pizza.

"No! Am I dreaming?! Jake Decarlo woke up and went to the kitchen!"

"You still have a crappy sense of humour, so don't try to make jokes."

"Okay I was going to make us dinner but I guess you're enjoying your freezed pizza so.."

"You know I was just kidding right?! You're the best sister in the world!" He says hugging me and pouting.

"Okay, okay I'm gonna make dinner but in one condition."

"Anything for my sistah."

"You help me."

"Ugh fine." He says rolling his eyes.
