BILLY WALKED OVER TO THE RINGING PHONE, PICKING IT UP, AND BRINGING IT TO HIS EAR. "Hello," Billy said softly.

"Are you alone in the house?" The distorted voice came through the phone.

"Bitch!" Billy exclaimed. "You bitch! Where the fuck are you?"

"Not so fast. We're gonna play a little game. It's called..." The voice changer was gone and was replaced with Sidney's voice. "'Guess Who Just Called The Police And Reported Your Sorry Motherfucking Ass'."

Billy looked at Stu who plopped down in a chair. "Find her, you dipshit! Get up!" he yelled.

"I can't, Billy," Stu said weakly. "You already cut me too deep. I think I'm dying here, man."

Billy put the phone on the desk, next to Stu. "Talk to her. Talk to her."

Stu grabbed the phone, holding it to his ear. "Hello?"

"Oh, Stu, Stu, Stu. What's your motive? Billy's got one. The police are on their way. What are you gonna tell them?"

"Peer pressure," Stu answered. "I'm far too sensitive-"

Billy ripped the phone from Stu. "I'm gonna rip you up, you bitch, just like your fucking mother!"

"You've better find me first, you pansy-assed mama's boy!" Sidney yelled back.

"Fuck!" Billy exclaimed, throwing the phone, accidentally hitting the back of Stu's head.

"Ow," Stu mumbled, looking back at Billy who was rampaging in the living room and breaking stuff. "You fuckin' hit me with the phone, dick!" Stu picked up the phone again. "Did you really call the police?"

"You bet your sorry ass I did," Sydney replied.

"My mom and dad are gonna be so mad at me," Stu cried.

Billy yelled out. "Bitch!" He walked by the stair closet, slowly stopping as he moved back to the stair closet, aiming a gun against the door as there was blood on the handle. He slowly turned to the living room TV that was still playing Halloween, ironically, at the closet scene.

Too distracted by the TV, a masked figure popped out of the closet, stabbing Billy in the chest with an umbrella once before stabbing him again, making him yell out and fall to the floor unconscious.

Sidney dropped the umbrella, removing the mask and costume as Justin stood up out of the closet, looking at her. "Are you okay?"

She only nodded.

"We still gotta deal with-"

Just then, Stu came out of the kitchen, charging at them with a war cry.

Almost immediately, Justin shoved Sidney away into the closet as Stu tackled him but Justin only flipped him onto his back, kneeing him in the groin, making Stu yell out. "6 years of fucking friendship and you try to kill me!" he yelled out.

Stu managed to get an arm free, punching him hard enough to knock him away. "You always got on my fucking nerves!"

Justin managed to get up. "Fuck you, Macher!" he yelled out, rushing away to grab something to fight with in the living room.

Stu got up, tackling him onto the couch, both rolling onto the floor as Stu had Justin pinned, his knee on Justin's wound, making him yell out.

"I always had a thing for ya, buddy!" Stu said with a vicious grin.

He got a hand free, grabbing the front of Stu's sweater, heading butting him roughly enough to push him off to the side as Justin got up.

Justin moved next to the TV. "Good night, buddy," he said before using any and all effort he had to push the TV forward.

The TV landed on a screaming Stu's head, whose body jolted as sparks from the TV flew everywhere.

Justin let out a sigh as Stu's body went lifeless under the smoking TV before walking over to Sydney who was in the hallway.

"Oh, Jesus," Justin mumbled, sitting down on the floor next to her.

"Are you okay?" Sydney asked him.

"No," he answered honestly. "But I'm alive. We both are."

She wrapped her arms around him as a hand suddenly grabbed her shoulder, making them both jump. "I'm sorry," Randy mumbled.

"Oh, my God, Randy. I thought you were dead," Justin said, looking at him.

"I probably should be. I never thought I'd be so happy to be a virgin," Randy answered until someone punched him.

Billy grabbed Justin, smashing his head against the bench against the stairs before he climbed over Sidney, his hand gripping her throat tightly. "Say hello to your mother."

Sidney pushed a finger into his open shoulder wound, making Billy yell out in pain but raise a knife above Sidney.

Sidney covered her face with her arms, waiting for the blade until-

A gunshot rang through the room, knocking Billy off to the side on the floor, slowly stopping any movement.

Sydney gasped, looking at who was holding the gun.

A bloodied Noelle stood there, holding her father's pistol. "I never liked Billy Loomis," she mumbled.

Sydney looked at her. "I thought you were dead."

"Luckily, they were dumb enough to believe me sleeping looks like I'm dead," she mumbled lowering the gun before helping a now conscious Gale Weathers to stand.

Justin rubbed his head, looking at Noelle. "Ellie," he mumbled softly in relief, forcing himself to stand and walk over to her.

She immediately threw herself into his arms, trying to be mindful of his wounds. "You look terrible," she mumbled. "I'm sorry I didn't try to protect you."

"I'm just glad you're okay," he mumbled as Sydney grabbed the gun close to Billy before helping Randy up.

They all moved around to Billy's body, Sydney nudging his leg with her foot.

"Careful," Randy spoke. "This is the moment...when the supposedly dead killer comes back to life for one last scare."

Billy jumped up, making the group jump but Sydney raised the gun, shooting him between the eyes, making his body finally go completely lifeless.

"Not in my movie," Sydney replied, dropping the gun.

Everyone then let out another scream as the closet door swung up, revealing the still-tied-up Neil Prescott.

Sydney sighed, "Dad." She walked over to untie him. "Randy, help me out. Noelle, wait outside with Justin for an ambulance."

Noelle nodded, grabbing Justin's bloodied hand and walking outside with him, and sitting on the porch steps, letting out a sigh. "It's over, right?"

"Yeah, Billy and Stu are dead," he answered softly. "I think it's over."

She looked at him. "Stu was the killer?"

"One of them, yeah," he answered. "Can't believe I wasted my time being his friend for so long."

"You didn't know..." She looked at him.

"Whatever, fuck him," he mumbled as there was a slight grunt nearby. "Dewey?"

"Justin...I'm in pain," Dewey mumbled, still out of it.

"Help's coming," he said softly, trying to stay awake.

"How much pain are you in?" Noelle asked Justin softly.

"A lot," he mumbled, trying to keep his heavy eyes on. "Adrenaline wore off, still bleeding..."

Noelle only held onto him as the sound of several sirens could be heard coming a good distance away and getting closer.

Noelle looked at him. "It's gonna be okay."

As the sun rose, many news reporters, ambulances, and cop cars surrounded the Macher home.

Gale looked at the fill-in cameraman. "Okay, I think it's going to go something like this. Just stay with me." As the camera turned on, Gale raised the microphone and spoke, "Hi, this is Gale Weathers with an exclusive eyewitness account of this amazing breaking story." She walked towards the house. "Several more local teens are dead bringing to an end the harrowing mystery of the mass killing that has terrified this peaceful community like the plot of some scary movie..."

That's a wrap for Scream 1!
