╾ Makoto and Ei strike a very similar resemblance with eachother. What makes Makoto different is she wears a lighter colored kimono compared to Ei, and her fan hairpin. She also does not have a beauty mark like Ei.
╾ Little is known about Makoto. What is known about her is Makoto was always a kind and gentle God who dislike violence. Any time spent with Ei was relaxing.

╾ Yae Miko has purple eyes and long, muted pink hair that's tied at the bottom. Her outfit is unique and a stylized variation of clothing inspired by the colors of a traditional shrine priestess outfit.
╾  Her personality is way different than Ei's. Yae is almost always seen smiling and is almost always very polite to those she interacts with as the guuji. She is similar in the ways of being selfish. She is also very blunt, straight to the point.

╾ It is unknown of the origin of the twin gods, Makoto and Ei. They, however, won the Archon war together, and thus Makoto was the main face while Ei served as her body double. This way, as the world saw, there was only one God of Inazuma. Baal, the Raiden Shogun of Inazuma.

Ei made close friends with Sasayuri, Mikoshi Chiyo, Kitsune Saiguu and Yae Miko. One by one, her friends fell. Sasayuri was slain in the war that erupted between the Watasumi island and the mainland people. Ei was forced to slice Chito's horns and sword-arm, while Saiguu and Makoto died during the Fall of Khaenri'ah. Returning from this alive, she assumed her twins place in the Shogunate and of the Seven.

After these events, Ei had created an experimental puppet to test and see if she could escape 'erosion'. Ei took pity on this puppet, sealing his powers and abandoning him, to which the Fatui came upon and he became a part of the Fatui. After this, Ei successfully created her puppet, the Raiden Shogun and moved her consciousness into the Mussou Issjin from what she had learned from Miko.

Becoming deceived by the Fatui, Ei enacted the Vision Hunt Decree and the Sakoku Decree. This now lands us to the current time.

However, from the flashes of memories that happened in Ei's mind, each one of her friends disappeared. The Civil War that took Sasayuri's life and her battle with Orabashi. Chiyo's betrayal after being consumed by the darkness. Saiguu's death. Nothingness. Regret. Eternity.

Her three friends were now gone. Looking back down and ahead, Ei placed her hands onto her lap and closed her eyes for a moment. What had her life become to? Well, as long as she had her sister, her dearest twin, everything would be fine. Opening her eyes, she had seen a figure in the distance. A familiar one holding her usual purple umbrella decorated with flowers at the edge. Her lips opened, eyes widening slightly with shock. She rushed to stand, stumbling over her steps before she found herself running towards the figure.

"Sister?!" Everything around her seemed to freeze,  or at least slow down. Her hand reached out to touch her. Her sister was still alive! Yes, everything would be fine- until it wasn't. Just as her hand was about to touch her figure, it had dissipated. The heavy onset of rain poured down over her as a realization set in. She was now truly alone. She had lost everything so easily. This was when she had made up her mind. She would maintain Eternity, so that her and her sister's precious nation wouldn't ever change. So that she wouldn't lose anything ever again.
