She's very transparent with her emotions, and she rarely hides anything. Although, if she is planning on causing chaos, she will keep her plan secret until she enacts it. 

In most cases however, she is very unserious, not taking anything seriously enough for it to cause concern to her own life. In fact, she keeps it a point to keep her front of being a silly goddess who strives to cause chaos whenever she can. She finds great joy for unexpected situations and provoking other gods and goddesses until she backs down before she is hurt. 

She is also the master manipulator, being able to feign ignorance without batting an eye about her lies. When she is serious, she keeps a calm composure and is for the most part, serious. She looks for the best strategy to take, and for the least potential worst outcome to take.

╾ Godly Strength ; though Eris isn't as powerful as Zeus or the other twelve Olympian gods, she still is fairly strong in regards to the average humans and lower gods.

╾ Divine Physiology ; as a goddess, Eris possesses physical abilities far greater than any ordinary human. Her body can not be harmed by mortal weapons, but she can still be harmed by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and divine weapons.
╾ Manipulation ; being the goddess of chaos, she prefers to cause exactly that, and uses magic to her advantage. 
╾ Darkness ; she is able to manipulate 'darkness', or shadows to either be on the offensive or defensive. The downside is that it drains her stamina a lot. She also uses this to create realistic puppets, though the downside to this ability is that she get recoil whenever her shadow puppet is destroyed or killed.

╾ Not much is known about the background of Eris. There are two famous stories going around; one being she is the child of Zeus and Hera, and the other being that she is the child of Erebus and Nyx. 

What Eris is most famous for, is her involvement in starting the Trojan War. Peleus, a Greek king, was marrying Thetis, a sea nymph. All of the A-list Olympian gods had been invited. However, Eris had been left off the guest list on purpose, so as the goddess she is, she decided to get revenge. During the party, Eris tossed something into the middle of the crowd: a lovely golden apple marked with the words "For the most beautiful." Unfortunately, Hera, Aphrodite, and Athena each thought the apple should belong to her, and so — as Eris hoped — they started arguing about who should have the prize. None of the Olympian gods wanted to get involved in this argument, so they got Paris, the prince of Troy, to be an on-the-spot beauty pageant judge. Each of the tried to bribe Paris to pick her. Athena promised Paris wisdom; Hera offered power, but Aphrodite tempted Paris with something he couldn't turn down: the most beautiful mortal woman ever born. Paris awarded Aphrodite the apple and went to claim his prize, but there was a catch. Helen, the world's most beautiful woman, was already married. When Paris ran away with to be his wife, Helen's husband Menelaus vowed to take revenge on the Trojans and mustered a thousand ships to force the Trojans to give her back. This essentially started the Trojan War, thanks to Eris' antics. 

Another story would be Polytechnus and Aedon claiming their love was greater than Zeus and Hera's, and Hera sending Eris to wreck chaos and discord upon them. 

With Eris, she had either confirmed nor denied these stories, finding great interest to listen to them and see how humans have interpreted her story and birth, and also to why and how she was created.
