As far as the inspiration for the names, I'm just going with what feels right for the type of creatures the characters are.

On the story side, however, I was very heavily influenced by the plotline of the Tiktok "Every Vampire Novel in 60 Seconds". The only thing I am completely responsible for is the major worldbuilding, character names, and overall details of the actual plot. And if you want spoilers, or in this case a really oversimplified synopsis, for this book then the name of the original poster is Daniel Alexander.
