Chapter Ten
The men, however, in the room beside them, had a much harder time being organized in their unpacking. Natsu whipped his suitcase on the couch and rushed into the kitchen, turning on the stove and inhaling the fire emitting from the gas burner.
Gray's small drawstring bag (which had one pair of clothes, other than the ones he was wearing -- it was used to hold his clothes when he stripped) dropped in the walkway as he rushed to the refrigerator, emptying the ice tray into his mouth.
Jellal stepped over Gray's bag, dropped his own in front of a room, and rushed to the living room, examining the TV, something he hadn't seen or used for a very long time.
Gajeel, ironically, kicked Gray's bag out of the way, went up to the room closest to the window, put away all of his clothes, changed, and went to shower.
After Gray had finished all the ice, Natsu burnt the stove out of gas (temporarily) and Jellal had found a way to turn on the TV, they all slumped in different spots in the huge living room floor and staring at the huge screen.
When Gajeel emerged from his shower, he was furious.
~Gajeel's POV~
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, FUCKERS?!" I roared, so loud that a small lamp on a desktop from the far side of the room fell, but didn't break. What the hell did they think they were doing?! The room was a mess, and they didn't even clean themselves up!
"Do I have to babysit you all for the whole time?!" I hissed, and flamebrain stood with an angry glare.
"What's the problem, metal head? We-"
"Metal mouth," The stripper interrupted, a bored expression on that 'pretty boy' face. Why does Juvia like this asshole?
"Anyways," flamebrain continued, angrily, "You aren't our parents. You're no Igneel. I have no reason to listen to you."
~Nobody's POV~
Gajeel lost all of his cool. Everyone was forced to put away (and fold) all of their clothes, and Gajeel forced Gray to get dressed. He wasn't happy about the lack of Gray's clothes, either.
"Ice brain, after everyone showers, we're going to buy you some damn clothes. I can't believe you didn't pack anything!" Gajeel roared once again, and Gray was too lazy to argue. Plus, it wasn't like he was paying. Or he thought.
So, Gajeel kept his promise, and after all the men had showered, one after the other, they headed out to the nearest mall, and as punishment, Gajeel made them all walk. He didn't mind walking himself, after all, it was just an even better workout.
