Prologue

I was watching my Mother put the pastries that she took out the oven into the woven basket that she made hand made.

When she was finally done putting the pastries in she rubbed her hands together to get the crumbs off and looked at me.

"Red, I need you to bring these to Grandma's house." She commanded

I nodded and replied "Yes Mother"

My Mother opened the window over the sink and a chilly breeze came in making goosebumps appear on my body. She quickly closed it after she felt it.

"Also go get your cloak. You are really going to need it."

I ran upstairs towards my room and opened my closer door which was very unorganized. I digged everywhere making a bigger mess than it was. I wasn't going anything or going anywhere until I find my red cloak.

When I finally found my cloak I automatically put it on me. It was a bigger than me, but I didn't care. I ran back downstairs to my Mother. She handed me the basket and walked me out the door.

She crouch down to my height and looked me straight into my eyes.

"Follow the path and absolutely do not talk to strangers" she explained seriously.

She then handed me the basket and it was light for how much stuff she put in it.

"Remember follow the path and-"

"Yes, I will be responsible" I cut her off

My Mother looked like she could finally breathe when she said that. She kissed me on my forehead and hugged me tightly.

I started walking on the path. It was Spring time and the woods were painted with so much color. I was looking at the red tulips before I heard a man's voice say

"Hello young lady."

I was startled and quickly turned around and smiled in his face and replied

"Hello sir."

I looked at him up and down. I accepted the fact that he is the most beautiful man I had every met in my life. He wasn't wearing anything except a green basketball shorts. He had dark brown hair. Also he had green eyes with specs of gold and that went beautifully with his tan skin.

"What are you doing on this fine day?" He asked while observing the tulips

"To my Grandmother's house"

I soon felt something playing with my hair. I looked at it and saw it was the man's hand. He sooned leaned closer to my ear and whispered

"And where would that be?"

I was quit for a second staring into his beautiful eyes. It was like they were hypnotizing me to do it. After I a few seconds I told him where my Grandmother lived.

"Well I will get going now." He said

He kissed me on the cheek and continued walking on the trail.

"Red, you are so stupid!" I thought to myself

***

It was around night time when I arrived at Grandmother's cottage. I opened the door and my face was frozen with fear.

There was a grey wolf eating my Grandmother's body. There was blood everywhere that it looked like a massacre.

I put down the basket and ran towards my Grandmother.

"Grandmother!" I screamed while running towards her.

The wolf soon turned around blocking the path from my Grandmother's body. The wolf eyes were piercing my soul. His eye color was the same color as the man I talked to before.

Then the wolf showed it's pearly white sharp teeth at me making me take a step back from it. On the Wolf's chest there was a hole gushing out blood.

I soon kicked the front two knee caps making the wolf fall. I soon walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him.

"I'm sorry, but you killed my Grandmother." I sqeezed his neck tighter making him whimpering and kick. "Now I have to kill you."

I put more pressure around its neck. He kicked around and soon stopped.

"I-I killed a wolf." I mumbled while getting up and walking backwards.

I grabbed my basket and sped to the door, but when I was running I bumped into something. I soon looked up and saw it was a man with a suit.

"What a massacre!" He yelled while looked around.

He soon looked down at me and took off his sunglasses revealing his dark brown eyes.

"Who killed the old woman and the wolf?"

"The wolf killed my Grandmother." I replied while chocking with tears.

"Then who killed the wolf?"

I froze in fear when he asked that question. If I admit that I killed the wolf I could go to jail or some place that isn't pleasant. My Grandmother lived in the middle of the woods and it is pretty rare when people came by. The only person that lived by my Grandmother was the Lumberjack.

"T-The Lumberjack"

He soon started hysterically laughing and my face was painted with confusion.

"Sir, what is so funny? My Grandmother and this wolf were murdered!" I yelled

"Red, you don't lie to me. I know that you killed the wolf."

I rolled my eyes

"Okay, but can't I just go home to see my Mother. I had a long day."

He soon stopped laughing and looked me in the eyes. There was so much sympathy in his eyes.

"I am afraid that your Mother is dead. She was murdered by a wolf too."

I felt more tears run down my cheeks.

"My Mother can't be dead! I cried "Then who is going to take care of me. I can't be a orphan."

I was on my knees crying hysterically until I felt the man arms around me.

"The W. A. A will take care of you."

Then ever since then I have been living at the W.A.A. That is how I started my journey as a Werewolf Assassin.
