Hi, please tell us a bit about yourself and how you came to know about Wattpad.

The best way I can define myself is that I am an ambivert. I am a social butterfly who doesn't take long to get back in my caterpillar's shell. Books have been my haven for long, and Wattpad quenched my thirst to read young writers like me. Writing on Wattpad has quite been a journey for me, full of self-introspection and insights which have helped me become a better writer.

What inspired the idea for your book?

Like I said, writing on Wattpad has been quite a journey- and when I recently got into poetry, I decided to write about the same journey, because there is nothing else I have felt more passionately about or more deeply connected to. And that was definitely the right call for me- I wrote my poetry book in the course of a week, if not less. It was something about knew, something I had experienced- words and passion came much more easily than I had anticipated.

What does the title of your book mean? How does it relate to the story?

The title of my book is October Leaves, and I know for poetry this seems unusual. But it has two reasons: one being I wrote the poetry book in the last few weeks of October, second being my first ever real poem was about October Leaves and was titled the same as well. I felt it was a good ode to my roots.

Also, I just love autumn and Halloween season, so there is that too!

If you had the decision to rewrite any of your books, which one would it be and why?

Ah, probably Falling Stars. It's taken down now, but I remember feeling so passionate about the story. Looking back at it it's really the classic cliche good girl falls for the bad boy sort of thing, but I really wish I could get back the innocence and naivety of those times back.

What book genre is your favorite? Why?

Contemporary & Fantasy. Contemporary because I love introspecting through fictional characters. Fantasy because it gives me the freedom to imagine beyond the world we know.

Have you ever tried to write a novel for a genre you rarely or never read?

This is hard but, Romance. That's the least I have read, yet probably the most I have written- or tried to write, at least. I am a hopeless romantic so it kind of balances it out.

Do you have any unpublished books or drafts on Wattpad? If yes, why haven't you published it? If no, does it mean you don't plan on writing any books again?

I definitely have, and the reason they are lying there is that they seriously need some furnishing and rewriting. Unfortunately due to school, I can't dedicate entirely to writing or even set up a schedule, so I don't have any plans of starting something new. But hey, there are a lot more late nights ahead for something to strike me.

Are you working on anything at the present you would like to share with your readers?

I am still planning on updating my poetry book soon. At the same time, I plan on continuing my short story Midnight Coffee- a little cliche but also not cliche romance story about childhood crushes finding each other again. If you like random rants and some teen humor, you should definitely give it a look!
