********** Carmen's POV

"Hey Red, I don't trust this Annabeth girl" Player told me suspicion lacing his words.

"Your concern is duly noted and ignored" I replied to him, Earning a quizzical look from Annabeth. She inspected me as though figuring out who I was talking to. She muttered something, I leaned closer to listen. 

"It's just like I'm with Percy in the aquarium for our date again, I ended up being the 3rd wheel while he talks to fish! I understand how Leo feels now" She continued muttering.

"Soo, When can I meet your crew?" I asked eager to divert the subject from being the 3rd wheel when her boyfriend talks to fish.

"How about now?" She replied. "Or the moment when your friend in Canada stops trying to hack my phone. You can trust me." 

I took a step back surprised, How did she figure that all out? The Blonde girl gave a humorless grin. 

"You kept talking to someone, you used the name Player so it was safe to assume it was a hacker. You said your concern is noted, again I hypothesized that your male friend did not trust me. Canada bit was a guess, I heard you laugh about a joke. A joke about Niagara Falls (In the first chapter Carmen laughs at something Player says) So I assumed your companion lives near there, Americans are not a huge fan of Niagara falls jokes so where else are they famous?" Annabeth told me. I whistled in surprise and admiration.  Annabeth made her way to the edge of the building, a nagging thought in my head wondered why she was doing that. Even I wasn't that risky, I had a hang glider and she didn't even have a parachute 

"Woah" Player breathed. "She's wicked smart" 

"Heard that before" Annabeth called out over her shoulder. "Well if your ready and you trust me" 

"Red wait for Zach and Ivy" Player told me. "Or better yet Shadow-san" I turned to face the wall.

"I can't Player-" I started. But I was cut off. Annabeth turned to face me.

"You're either talking to that Wall you named Player or your hacker friend is telling you don't go," Annabeth said she had a ghost of a smile touching her features. "I'll bet 20 drachma's on the Latter" She added. I gave her a wry smile. (A/N I can almost hear Percy or Jason being like: I think she's having a conversation with the wall. I SHiP iT Wall X Carmen, Wamen?Carll?) The door to the roof swung open startling me. I mentally kicked myself, how come people were able to sneak by me so easily! I should not be so distracted. Only Annabeth remained calm. I saw the slight outline of 2 figures, they seemed athletic but feminine, Paperstar and Tigress?  I reached for a weapon but remembered I did not have one, Well Carmen you let not one but three people sneak up on you today AND you forgot to bring a weapon? I thought to myself.  The two figures stepped into the light.
