More Danger! Yay!

**** Sadie's POV *****

"Oh, lords!" I wheezed recalling the flabbergasted agent who'd met me and Alex.

"I turned into a penguin and started to peck him while you turned him into ducky!" Alex snorted and doubled over with laughter.

"It would have certainly caused distress." Annabeth agreed.

"I wish I could turn people into watermelons." Percy pouted.

"That's a specific request..." Carter trailed off.

"Focus!" Piper shouted, she must have used her 'charmspeak' because all of a sudden I couldn't think of reasons why Carter was stupid and worked on the riddle.

"So, as we said earlier, Water and Ice. Big parts of Norse mythology." Magnus had a small flashback.

"Glacier," Divya responded immediately. My eyebrows arched with shock.

Wow

"I see you haven't lost your edge." Annabeth nudged her. Divya smiled.

"Player search up Norse myths plus glaciers," Carmen ordered, but Annabeth's Daedalus laptop began to work on its own.

"No need Player." Annabeth's voice stopped the waiting.

"Thanks, mom." She whispered.

"Extra sacrifices to Athena tonight," Piper called out. A cheer echoed around.

"This is your guy's turf." I turned to Magnus.

"You lead we follow." Divya agreed with me.

"So, the next clue is inside a glacier?" Percy being Percy was as confused as me. Annabeth rolled her eyes and shared the screen with player.

"Jostedalsbreen," Player spoke using the accent perfectly.

"Jostled also green?" I shook my head utterly puzzled.

"It's a glacier, and it's really famous." Annabeth filled in the gaps for me.

"Wait," I told AJ to stop scrolling through images.

"Magnus, what's that?" I demanded pointing to the small symbols.

"What? I don't see anything." Samirah shook her head, TJ shook his head in agreement.

"Mist?" I asked Carter.

"Mist." He confirmed.

"Zia. remove it," I suggested. Zia nodded and whipped out her wand. The image shimmered.

"Oh wow..." Annabeth's face conveyed one message to me: Mind Blown.

"Am I truly smarter than the daughter of the goddess of wisdom?" I spoke in a haughty and smug tone.

"Vikings stolthet er begravet her" Alex read out loud.

"What?" My British accent showing a lot more on this one word.

"Viking's pride is buried here." Magnus translated.

"I got it!" Player exclaimed.

"What?" Annabeth and Divya turned their head to the screen.

"Uh...." Player trailed off.

"I was finishing my math homework." He shrugged sheepishly.

"Call Jules." Carmen rolled her eyes. Player nodded and something loaded onto the skype call.

"Hello, Carmen." A girl with short black cropped hair and glasses appeared.

"Hey, Jules." Carmen greeted.

"Oh my! Such a large gathering." Jules's eyes widened in surprise.

"Demigods, Einherji, and Egyptian Magicians who have saved the world at least once." Carmen introduced.

"Quite the introduction." She noted.

"Nico let's make her life easy. Go bring her." Jason snorted. Nico disappeared into the darkness. He reappeared after a minute. Jules stumbled and flailed her hands.

"What on earth was that?" Jules adjusted her glasses and pushed them up.

"Shadow-travel." Nico blundered and fell on his face.

**** Luke's POV *****

"Well hello there," I spoke from behind Maelstrom.

"Luke?!" Maelstrom shook his head with disbelief. I smiled, but there was no warmth.

"I want a place in your faculty." I pushed a knife against his throat.

"But, there's only enough for one of us. Roundabout is a great ally." I continued, a bead of sweat tumbled down his nervous face. Fear instead of his usual smugness.

"My boy let's talk-" Maelstrom started, I stopped him from reaching for his dagger.

"I'm a demigod. Good luck getting out of my grip." I laughed as Maelstrom wiggled in my grip. I held the dagger and slashed it.

"Buh Bye." I waved as Maelstrom's eyes dimmed and became lifeless.

"I'm coming for you Tori,"  I whispered looking at the newly empty chair. A chair for a king.

**** Carmen's POV ****

Nico audibly gasped and Hazel looked troubled.

"Are they alright?" I murmured to Annabeth.

"What happened?" Divya asked Anaya who was holding her head. Her eyes were pitch black.

"Maelstrom," Tori whispered.

"How did you-" Nico's eyes widened with surprise.

"Blessed by Nyx. My grandmother." She told him.

"What about Maelstrom?" I demanded.

"See for yourself." Anaya snorted and raised her hand. A dark-gray mist spewed out of her hand.

"Yama! Father! I summon you Maelstrom! Appear in the name of Yama." Her eyes began to blaze.

"Maelstrom, answer the call of the ghost king." Nico stepped up. A glowing red figure began to appear.

"He's dead. And we're summoning him." Anaya's eyes returned to their normal gold shade. The glowing red figure began to dip and cool down.

"Maelstrom." I spat.

"Carmen!?" He looked take aback. He charged at me, Divya stepped in the middle and raised her sword.

"I'm a ghost." Maelstrom grinned pointing out that she can't hurt him. Divya snorted and created a cut on the right side of his face.

"What happened?" I spoke finding my voice again, Jules hid in a corner.

"Luke." His glowing eyes held anger.

"Good for him and us," Annabeth spoke cheerfully.

"You dare-" Malestrom turned his burning gaze to Annabeth.

"Shut up and tell us what happened," Piper ordered using her power.

"Luke killed me for a position on the faculty, he's planning on waging war," Maelstrom spoke in a monotone voice. Nico waved his hand and Maelstrom disappeared.

"I'll make sure that his life is hell." Nico cackled.

A war?...
