Mission Glaciers
**** Jason's POV ******
"Alright, we need a plan." Carter started. All eyes turned to Annabeth, who had a tight smile on her facial features. Annabeth had anticipated this and gestured for me to start.
"So, we'd drafted a plan but need your input on this." I broke the silence. Annabeth started to present her laptop screen on the large green screen Carmen was letting us borrow. There was an image of a very mean-looking Viking and a glacier.
"I had no clue that Annabeth had a presentation, but she does apparently." I chuckled.
"What did you expect me to do? I was bored." Annabeth pointed out.
"So, Vikings had a ritual where they bury the 'skirl' of a ship with the ship." I started to explain.
"What does that have to do with this?" Percy butted in. Annabeth laughed and switched the slide.
"Tusgard." Percy spat. There was a portrait of Tusgard on the slide. He was holding a small scroll that had a V embalm.
"That is what we're looking for." I pointed to the scroll.
"Where is it?" Sadie voiced the question that was running through everyone's heads.
"That is a puzzle. We know that it might be under the glacier." Annabeth enjoined the conversation.
"It ought to make sense." TJ thought out-loud.
"Well, Vikings are set adrift on their boats after death," Samirah recalled.
"The boat sink's to the bottom of the ocean. Ocean freezes." Magnus continued.
"After that, you have one order of a boat hidden inside a glacier." Alex finished.
"But then shouldn't we look for the newest Glaciers? " AJ frowned.
"Or look for the specific era Tusgard existed in?" Percy added.
"He has a point." Nico looked mildly impressed.
"Daeladus. Research Tusgard and his ship." Annabeth ordered her computer.
"Player categorize the glaciers in Scandia by time," Carmen added to the order. Silence draped around us. The only sound was the keys on the computer pad clicking away.
"I got it!" Player excited voice cut through like a knife.
"Red, you need to take a look at this." He added, he was practically bouncing in his chair. He shared his screen.
"Which mountain is this?" Annabeth demanded.
"Jotunheimen" Carmen's voice came out as a whisper.
"What?" Alex, Magnus, TJ, and Samirah's gleeful exterior faltered.
"It's a mountain range." Carter started to explain.
"But also the home of the against." Magnus shuddered.
"Assuming you had an experience with them," Divya spoke for the first time. Samirah nodded.
"Well, let's pack. We have to pay a visit to Jotunheimen." Alex faked some joy.
"I'll check us out of the hotel." Tori opened the door.
"Wait." My voice had a ring of authority. Tori froze.
"Frank, shift into a raven and scan the area for anything suspicious." I started. Frank didn't question me. He flew out the window.
"Player look through the security feed." Carmen figured out what I was getting at.
"Alex and Sam, help Frank out," I ordered the Loki siblings. Two more ravens left the room. I paced the room, waiting for the results of our perimeter scan.
"Safe." Sam smiled. I exhaled a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"3 minutes to pack." Annabeth's voice called out from behind her computer.
"A van is headed this way. I don't like how it looks." Carmen turned her screen to show a van with a V emblem
"Correction, 1 minute." I chuckled. I sheathed my gladiolus. Percy didn't bother with Riptide, which was in pen form.
"30 seconds." Sadie reminded us from the other side of the room. She was stuffing her things into a bag. I reached for the 2 other shirts I brought.

Leo reached into a sack and started to throw things at us.
"A phone. Monster Proof." He added with uncertainty. "I think."
I made a note not to use it unless it was an emergency. His last 'I think' invention, was a pencil that wrote on its own. It started to write on people's faces. I packed the phone.
Not very polite things too.
"Checked out." Tori appeared in the doorway.
"3 seconds!" Samirah hollered. Tori reached out for her bag and swung it on her shoulder.
"Done." She smiled.
"We need to go now." Carmen looked out the window. I spotted the van.
"Hope you're ready to fly." I grinned. Percy looked queasy. Frank shifted into an Andean condor.
"World's largest flying bird." Annabeth laughed. Samirah and Alex shifted into an Andean condor as well. Frank grabbed Hazel and flew her to the roof. Alex reached for Percy. Percy ducked.
"I'm going with my bro Jason." He bolted to me. I bit back peals of laughter. I flew Percy to the roof with his bag. It took us some time, but we managed to get everyone up.
"We need to go to the Scandinavian Mountains." I sighed. Everyone was hit with the realization of how hard this was going to be. We were at the Peninsula it was at least 5000 miles away. Nico politely coughed.
"I managed to lug a statue across the world. I think I can do it." He spoke sarcastically.
"Well, let's hope you can do it fast." Lester squeaked and pointed to the group of people that had spotted us. Anaya, Walt, and Hazel offered to help.
"Thanks," Nico grunted quietly.
"Do this faster." Percy urged the four.
"Hold hands," Anaya ordered us. Just as one of the VILE agents appeared at the roof, the world went black.
"Wake me up tomorrow," Nico grunted before collapsing face-first onto the ground. Percy let out a light laugh.
"You did good Nico." He patted Nico on the head. Nico swatted Percy's hand away.
"Let's not check into a hotel," AJ grumbled.
"I support that." I agreed.
"Guys..." Magnus squeaked and pointed behind me. I looked at his fear-filled expression and assumed the worst. I turned around to face this threat. I was looking at a toe.
"What the-" I started. Piper titled my head upward. I saw a giant staring at me.
Oh for Hades Sake!
Ugly, was the first word I could think about the giant.
Super Ugly.
Yeah, we're doomed, aren't we? Ria do you hate us?
Uh... Jason, I don't hate you... I just need some entertainment value xD
Well, dun dun da! A giant guarding the Scandinavian Mountains entrance! Whats gonna happen?
