It was almost silent.

Just Shiro, Pidge and Keith, enjoying some quiet time.

We all need it at some point, don't we?

A few minutes later... Let's just say that the quiet was brutally murdered by a certain blue paladin, who came bursting through the doorway and practically threw himself across the couch.

He eagerly sat up, devilishly smirking at Keith. Lance's confidence practically rolled off of him, and Pidge groaned. The boy swept back his short hair, keeping his eyes solely on Keith.

The slightly shorter paladin wasn't exactly thrilled to see Lance, but entertainment was entertainment, and Keith certainly was bored.

"Hey, Keith, are you French?" Lance began, his eyes glimmering with mischief. Groaning inwardly, Keith immediately regretted that thought and began praying desperately that Lance would fall through a wormhole in the ground.

Filled to the brim with pride, Lance continues, "Cause, madamn!"

There was an awkward moment of silence. Shiro looked rather uncomfortable, while Pidge face palmed next to him. Keith stared directly into Lance's blue eyes, doing his best to appear completely uninterested, though he could feel his cheeks redden.

"Lance, I'm not even a woman."

"That's arguable."

"Lance!" Keith screeched, covering his red stained cheeks, "You don't just say that!"

Lance huffed in response, crossing his arms over his chest, "I just did."

At this time, Shiro and Pidge had made their lucky escape. Neither wanted to be dragged into the fight between Lance and Keith, which often became rather heated and annoying.

"Fight me, Lance!" Keith shouted, hoping that he would be able to scare off Lance. Boy, was he wrong.

Lance didn't even think before answering with a cocky, "You're on!"

Ten minutes later, both were situated in the training deck. They had decided on hand to hand combat, influenced by Allura, who seemed to be the only of the three who didn't want anyone dead.

"Don't let my fighting abilities overwhelm you, mullet boy!"

Keith practically growled in response, suddenly leaping towards Lance and swinging his fist upwards. The other boy stumbled backwards, just barely out of the way. Lance regained his composure, balling his fists and stepping into a defensive stance.

As Keith advanced, Lance faked a left punch to Keith's head, but instead swung one leg out trip him up. The red paladin was caught by surprise, but proved successful in his second attack after landing a hard punch to Lance's stomach.

The Latino boy pretended to be hurt, clutching his stomach and collapsing on the floor. A concerned Keith walked closer to help him up, cautiously extending his arm. With a small chuckle, Lance quickly reached upwards, grabbing Keith collar and dragging him to the ground.

He didn't hesitate to pin Keith down, a victorious smirk playing on his lips. He chuckled again, a bit louder, "Looks like you fell for me, Keithy."

"I don't think it counts if you forcefully pulled me down while I was ever-so-nicely attempting to help you," Keith added smartly, trying to remain calm, even with Lance straddling him.

"You know you like it," Lance blushed, leaning down closer to Keith until their noses brushed, "Don't you?"

Keith was almost a tomato by now, and Lance certainly wasn't helping by getting closer then he already was, "I- I don't..."

An idea suddenly clicked in Keith's head, and he reacted without thinking it over to much. If it went wrong, it's not like it'd be to much a problem for Keith. He'd just say it was an accident.

Keith sat up a little bit, closing the gap between them entirely. He felt Lance loosen almost immediately, and took the chance to flip Lance over on his back.

"Pinned ya," Keith said, pulling away and looking down at Lance. He was still straddling him, however, but made no move to get off, "So, I win."

Lance closed his eyes, "We both know that I so won this."
