Chapter 4
They were out of the shop in an instant, splitting ways. Amasis to the right, Vittel to the left, and Ja'far attacked the man straight ahead. Vittel unsheathes his double-edged sword and begins to scale the wall to the roof. Jafar's eyes begin to dart all over the scene, taking in the number of people around.
Twelve.
That was good.
He spins around, crimson cloak dancing around him as he takes another victim down. Beside him Amasis begins to chant words and balls of fire erupt from her hidden staff. Vittel manages to take out the men on the roof and Ja'far kicks a man to the ground and plants his foot on his chest. He takes the fabric off the man's lower face. "Talk." He instructs while scowling.
It took only a second to realize that the man was lifeless and Ja'far jumped back just in time.
His corpse exploded.
The hell? He thought and looked around just to see the other one's were in the same state. Ja'far scrunched his nose up in distaste. Even though they were gone he still had this feeling, it was almost like a sixth sense to him.
There was one more.
Instantly he shot his eyes up to the roofs, Amasis was on guard too, glancing back and forth. His eyes lands on a figure on a far away roof. Its hooded cloak fluttered in the wind and Ja'far saw a dark glint. It was a large bow but it wasn't armed. A cold feeling rushed up his spine and he was in gear faster than he can think.
He couldn't think about the situation at the moment. All he knew was to eliminate whoever that was on the roof. He saw the figure hold up the bow and aim it, as if it were actually going to shoot. And Jafar paled when he saw a black arrow manifest itself from thin air into the figures hand.
"Vittel! Get off the roof!" Amasis called out and Jafar skidded to a stop as the black arrow flew through the air. Before it could hit home Vittel jumped off the roof, the blade of the arrow nearly cutting his arm. The arrow landed where he used to be and a huge explosion erupted from it. Jafar directed his attention back to where the dark figure was but frowned when he saw it was gone.
The feeling he had was now gone but his senses were still on hype. Vittel made his way toward them, panting a bit. "What.... The hell was that!?" He hissed and clutches his arm. Amasis takes note of this and grabs his arms and examines it. Her green eyes narrow. "It's a scratch, but just to make sure I'll heal it now." She mumbled and does so. She looks over to Jafar. "You?" He shakes his head and scans the area. Whatever was left now of the place was just rubble. "We need to get out of here." He says. He was sure somebody heard what was going on and it sure as hell wouldn't look good if they were found here.
"Agreed."Amasis says. "I'll fix your weapons. It'll take some time though." He nods and turns the other direction he turns his cloak inside out and pulls the hood over his head. He scales a wall and crouches on the roof. He looks down below to see even more people out than before. Some talking amongst each other, others shouting and laughing. Jafar had to tilt his head to the side in slight confusion. He was sure that somebody would be suspicious. Shrugging a shoulder he jumps down and blends into the crowd. Many stalls were open and people were shouting amongst the crowd. Jafar even saw a few dancers with some children teaching them.
His eyes stop on a familiar stall from before. He remembered it was the stall he took Rune too, but that's not what caught his attention. On the counter a little basket was there and Jafar could hear a few cries. He makes his way over to see a small child in the basket wrapped up in a blanket. Jafar was sure it was the same child he saved from before. He stares at the child's golden eyes and almost immediately the little cries stopped. Jafar frowned as the child stared at him with wide eyes. Now that he could see him fully he could tell it was a boy. The child then sniffles a bit and Jafar tipped the basket, making it rock back in forth a bit. The child was reduced to little giggles and reached out to him, making a few noises in the process.
He gives the child his finger and the little hand wraps around it. He took note of movement coming in the back and pulled his hand away, making the baby pout. The same woman from before came forward with a smile. "Hello! I'm sorry if he gave you any trouble." She said sweetly. Jafar shook his head. "It's fine." He said.
"Kassim!" The woman called back. A little boy (probably a toddler by the way he was walking.) came wobbling in with a small basket of oranges. She took them and places them on the counter. Then she takes the child's basket and gives it to him. Jafar stared as the other boy made a huge grin and carried the smaller of the two back inside. "He seems happy." He comments. The woman nodded. "Ever since we found that boy he's been attached to him. He even named him before I could."
Jafar blinks, a bit curious. "May I ask what he named him?" She answers. "Alibaba."

Sinbad mentally pouted as he twirls the pen he has in between his fingers. Jafar had been gone for quite some while now. His mind couldn't help but wonder what the assassin was up to, leaving like that. He places the pen down and gives himself a little smile. Well at least he managed to get his work done. The thought of a menacing Jafar over his shoulder pushing work on him burned a hole in his mind and he shivered.
He organized the papers neatly and stood up. Stretching, he tilts his back to work out the muscles before relaxing. He then looks out the window. The sky was beginning to show a golden color. He makes his way over to the window. He did have a good few of a few things but it was nothing compared to the one in his own room. Sighing, he exits the study only to be greeted with something slamming into his leg. He almost lost his balance and looked down to see who was. He expected it to be Pitsi since she was the only one around of this height but instead he saw Rune and something more.
The child looked as though he had been running all day. He was wide eyed and panting a bit but that's not what attracted the man's attention. The little furry creature in his arms is what gave him his full attention. He couldn't tell whether it was the sharp fangs or claws that the tiger looking beast had. The thing was just hanging in his arms like a kitten (despite its medium size). The boy snuggled his head into its fur and Sinbad actually thought it was kinda cute.
"Where's Jafar-nii?" He asks. Sinbad blinks away from the small tiger and down to the boy. "He went out." Sinbad saw a flash of disappointment in the boy's face for a few minutes before his expression went blank again. "Who's this?" He asked, gaining the boys attention. As if it were possible he squeezes it more. "A present. I wanna give her to Jafar."
"And where did you get her?"
"I found her. I'm keeping it until he gets here too." He said as if it weren't up for discussion. A purr comes out the feline as he cuddles it. What was this? Was he trying to be cute in order to keep it. Then the thought of a huge full grown tiger stalking around came into mind and he shivered. Then he thought of taking it but he didn't want to get hurt, seriously he was a fanilist and at his age Masrur was able to knock him unconscious.
"What's going on?" A voice cut out. He looks up and sees Jafar walking up behind the boy. He looked exactly the same as when he left, save for the head cover. Sinbad watches as Rune turns around and literally almost run Jafar over trying to show him what he had. He didn't know what it was but when Jafar was walking toward them earlier he had a certain look in his eyes that quickly disappeared when he saw the little boy. Taking note of this he strides forward a little.
The look on Jafar's face was indeed amusing. First it was shock, then a frown came across his features before scolding the boy with some of the most comical gestures Sinbad has ever seen in his life.
"... I'll keep her. Take her to our room and bathe, okay?" He says. Runes eyes practically glowed as he nodded happily and shot down the corridor.
A sigh left Jafar as he rubbed his face.
"Something the matter?" Sinbad asks and Jafar stops his action to look at him, that look was back in his eyes and it reminded him of a snake. Dangerous and careful.
"I have a few things to discuss. " he says slowly, yes, careful indeed.
"Would you like to go somewhere private, the study?"
Jafar folded his arms in his sleeves and nodded. Sinbad turns and leads them back into the room. He closes the door behind them and takes his seat.
