// 40 minutes before the party//

"Pick up Pick up!" I mumbled to myself while I was looking at my phone. I was trying to Skype Maddie to help me use all this makeup she put in my bag and help style my hair.

She finally picked up and I breathed in relief. She was happy I could see by her face. She was laying in her bed looking all relaxed while I looked like a crazy woman panicking.

"Maddie, How do you use these things?" I asked showing her the makeup sets.

Maddie laughed and looked at me. She was zooming her phone close to her chocolate brown eyes. Sometimes I really do wonder what this girl does sometimes.

"Red, you don't know how to do makeup? You are a girl and that is sad."

"Shut up and help me!" I growled.

She zoomed away from her eye

"Okay Okay, but first show me how you look in the dress I picked out for you."

I flipped the camera around so it was facing the mirror. I was modeling the beautiful royal blue dress she had gotten for me.

She smiled "Beautiful, but okay let me show you."

I flipped the camera around, but my connection was making our connection glitch out. I had no choice, but to hang up on her.

"Fuck!" I yelled

Kyle then started knocking on the door like a mad man.

"Red hurry up we are going to be late!"

I rolled my eyes and opened the door

"Kyle, I can't do hair or makeup!"

Kyle then grabbed me by my arm and sat me down on the end of the bed. He got out some brushed, combs, and some pins and started doing my hair.

He was finally finished. I went to the mirror and saw that he did a Goddess braid and it was actually well done. I walked out the bathroom looking at him.

"How do you know how to do hair that good?" I asked him while putting on my heels

He rubbed his neck "When I was about 15 my little cousin started doing her dolls hair and she taught me and yea."

I smiled "That is adorable, but what about my makeup. The only thing I know how to do is Mascara and that is the only thing I did. Did your cousin teach you about makeup?"

He chuckled a bit and shook his head "Red, you look beautiful come on let's go. We are going to be late."

I rolled my eyes "I need makeup to make this Alpha dude fall in love with me."

Kyle looked at me and shook his head and then shut the door in my face. I sighed "It would of been nice if you held the door out for me I am like right behind you!" I rolled my eyes and opened the door.

I speed walked down the hallway trying to find Kyle, but he was no where in sight. I looked at the elevator and saw that a lot of people were waiting there and I needed to get down there fast.

I ran to the stairs and started bolting it down the stairs until I made it to the first level. I pushed the door opened and saw the front lobby and Kyle was sitting down in one of the white leather chairs reading a news paper.

I sighed and rolled my eyes and tapped his shoulder.

"Kyle, I am ready"

He closed the newspaper and nodded.

Then a little old Asian woman came up to Kyle and I. She was looking at me up and down. I was about to say something, but she cut me off saying

"Utsukushī"

Kyle stood next to me and smiled

"She called you Beautiful." He said kindly.

"Arigatō" I said with a smile on my face.

Kyle and I then left the hotel and went in his car. Once again I was in the backseat on this boring ride. While we were driving all I was doing was wining about how I looked ugly without makeup, I can't compare to those other girls, and I am never going to win the Alpha's heart.

We finally made it to the place and Kyle parked right infront of the doors and he turned around to Face towards me.

"Red, you look very beautiful right now."

I crossed my arms and looked out the window and seeing a bunch of girls enter the house and sighed. I see them and this time they look twice as pretty. It is like they got their game on while it looks like I am not even trying anymore.

"Red look at me please" he begged

I looked at him with my blue eyes still looking blankly at him.

He smiled "If the Alpha doesn't see the beauty and potential you have in you. He is a blind and stupid man. Now I want you to go in that house and act like you own it."

I nodded then walked out of the car and started making my way to the door. The guy at the door looked at me for a sec then opened the door for me. I mumbled a thank you under my breath and walked in the room where the ball was yesterday.

   There wasn't much that was going on because it was only a few people there. They were just talking to eachother and drinking probably champagne.  I sighed from looking around. Everyone seem to know eachother while I just seemed like that girl who was left out. I sighed then took a seat at one of the empty tables leaning my head on my hand.

  A waiter saw me and smiled "Would you like some-"

  Before he could say the word champagne I quickly said no. His smiled faded and he nodded Then went away.  I sighed and continued sitting at the table by myself watching everyone socialized. The party will start in another 35 minutes or so.  A few more people came in and one sat by me. I took my head up from my hand and looked at the woman. It was the  Alpha's mother and she was smiling at me.

  "Why the long faced?" She questioned

I sighed "Well it seems like everyone here knows each other while I just look like I am just here."

 I started fidgeting with my hands. I knew I wasn't suppose to tell any of these wolves how I really felt. I was suppose to put on a mask and lie to them right in their faces, but something in her light brown eyes was telling me that it was alright.

  She smiled "Well it is alright honey. You just got to get out their and introduce yourself. Have you talked to my son? Also what is your name?"

  I looked up at her and nodded "Yes, I have your son is quite the gentle man. Also I am Rebella."

     She chuckled "Well that is the way I raised him." She looked at the crowd "Well it was fun talking to you Rebella. Hope to see you soon." 

  She then got up and left me to talk to other people in the party, but she was right the party was starting. More girls started sitting at the table I was sitting at and the announcer from last night was again in the middle of the ballroom staircase with the Alpha.

         "Attention ,Attention everyone!" The announcer said into the microphone

The talking had stopped and everyone was now looking at him.

  "Well tonight is the last night for the Alpha finding his mate ball. This will be the night where Alpha Mason finds his Mate!"

  Everyone started clapping except me I had my hand holding my head and just staring at the Alpha. He looked around then he saw me and then smiled. I took my head off my hand and smiled back at him. The other girls were swooning over him and arguing who he was smiling at.  The Alpha was still staring at me, but wasn't smiling anymore well it didn't matter he was still looking attractive. His staring or observing me was interrupted by the announcer asking

  "Alpha Mason have you found your mate yet?"  The announcer asked pointing the microphone at him.

   The Alpha licked his lips and looked around and answered

  " Maybe Sean"

   All the girls were squeaking with happiness and smiling. They were all saying that they are the Alpha's mate. Then the Alpha looked at me. I blushed again when he looked at me.

   Then Sean said "Well lets start with the Alpha and his mother's dance. It usual is the Alpha's parents who usual do it, but since Alpha Colton is dead. Alpha Mason and his mother are going to do it."

   Then the Alpha and his mother started walked down the stairs to the dance floor. A song that sounded like it was opera started to play. They danced together until the song was over then the party started happening again.  They were playing all sorts of music and the people were dancing like crazy even I too was dancing crazy.

    Then after 2 hours of dancing like crazy it was time to announce who the Alpha's Mate was. Everyone returned to their seats and girls got out their pocket Mirrors and started to adjust their mirrors or practice a speech they are going to stay when they get picked.

     The Alpha went back to his spot where he was at the middle of the stairs next to Sean.  Sean silence the crowd while waving his hand and smiling.

  
   "So Alpha Mason are you finally going to admit who your mate is?" He asked staring deep into Alpha's green eyes.

   The Alpha took a deep breath and then nodded "Yes I do, Sean"

  Sean nodded and handed him the microphone which he took. There was a long silence when the  was looking around until he finally said the girls name.

   "Rebella"
