Provisional Hero License Exam: 3

"For you 100 people that have passed the first part of the test, watch this video." The instructor stated through the announcements before groaning, "I just want sleep-"

The video started, showing the field they were just in start to explode and turn to rubble. "In this test you will be graded on how well you can carry out a situation rescue procedure. There are-" the mic screeched as he yawned, many people covered their ears until he continued, "There are people who have undergone training to be professional people-in-need-of-rescue. They've dressed as injured victims and are on standby throughout the disaster site."

"So they're just actors?" Kaminari screeched.

"Looks like it." Shinso sighed.

"We will now have you carry out the rescue simulation." The instructor yawned yet again. "Your rescue will be scored on points, if you have more points than the benchmark at the end of the simulation then you pass. You all will start in ten minutes, so please do anything you need to do before the final test begins."

Izuku rubbed his eyes and bounded off to the bathroom while everyone talked amongst themselves, he was slightly disturbed on how this resembled the Kamino Ward Incident where Kacchan was kidnaped. Not to mention that uneasy feeling since meeting that girl... or rather the villain. If she knew Tomu-chan than there was a pretty high possibility that he was a target in a scheme. Luckily they haven't stopped the exam... he would have blamed himself if they did.

Izuku looked at himself in the mirror, luckily he's regained some of his color. He took off his gloves and turned on the tap and bent over slightly, splashing water on his face which was refreshing. He glanced back at himself in the mirror, almost screaming when he saw a girl with bond buns and yellow eyes holding a knife to his neck right behind him with a fanged grin. Panicked, he turned and swung blindly.

---|3rd POV|---

'Where's Deku...' Todoroki found himself wondering, glancing around only to fail at spotting the green bean. Uraraka seemed to notice as she also started looking around, both getting more tense by the minute.

"Guys!? Where's Deku-kun!?" Uraraka exclaimed rather loudly with a strained voice. Everyone paused and looked around till he walked out from the hall that led to the bathroom. He looked uneasy and sent a wavering smile towards the group.

"You okay, Deku-kun?" Iida asked with his hand chops.

"O-oh, I'm fine." Izuku paused, "The villain was caught though. She attacked me in the bathroom but security showed up..."

Automatically the class swarmed him to check for injuries, he assured him he was fine; just a little shaky. Todoroki found himself smiling and walked up to Izuku.

"Glad your feeling better, Deku-kun." Izuku's smile dropped and simply nodded before turning his head.

"Thanks Todoroki." Then he walked away.

Todoroki felt a pang in his chest, what happened to his nickname, Todo-chan? Was Izuku mad at him? What did he do? Before anyone could catch onto anything, he put on a stoic expression and went up to Momo. She glanced at him then to Izuku then back to him again.

"Why's Deku-kun ignoring you?" She hesitantly asked. Todoroki flinched and turned his head.

"Dunno'." He walked away to sulk in a corner.

Soon the ten minutes passed and the walls once again unfolded. "Save as many lives as you can everyone." The buzzer sounded, "Start!"

Iida was the first to take charge, "Look around the area but don't go alone! We'll need to work as a team as much as possible!"

Even just as he said it Bakugo branched off, Kirishima and Kaminari quickly following. Todoroki also stepped to the side, heading towards a destroyed building to see what he could do. The rest of 1-A made do with what they still had, Uraraka being the most help out of them all.

Izuku was not at his best, maybe it's because the villain that attacked him but he really wasn't doing good. He bumped into Uraraka on several occasions causing them both to get marked down for bad cooperation, she'd grit her teeth and say it's fine when ever he apologized but now it was just getting repetitive.

Izuku caved in a wall after leaning on it, Iida bolted straight to him to help him out but the actors though it was Iida that knocked down the wall and his score was subtracted from, Izuku didn't bother speaking up either, instead he walked away.

He arrived at the medical station and helped several 1-A students to heal others but mostly screwed things up getting whoever he was helping's score subtracted as well as his own. They all blamed it on the villain he was attacked by but after several repeated problems they concluded he was purposely sabotaging everyone, though no one had time to speak up.

Soon when Gang Ocra showed up Izuku jumped to help despite everyone's calls for him to stay back. Todoroki and Inasa were working together to trap Orca in a whirlwind of flames, but when Izuku tied to help by doing his boot air shocks it helped the 'villain' and not the 'heroes.' When he was yelled at by the two they got marked off for bad sportsmen ship. Soon the buzzard for the end sounded and UA refused to turn towards Izuku.

Still, he acted oblivious and innocent to the whole thing.

"Okay everyone... Head to the main room for your score results and an extra announcement." They complied and headed towards the middle of the place where the walls folded out to begin with. 1-A couldn't contain the dirty looks sent Izuku's way.
