Asuka: "I-I'm sorry!! I-I read that look so wrong!"

Draco: "N-No! I-It's okay, I don't m-mind"

We looked at each other and laughed a little.

Asuka: "Awkward first kiss, huh?"

Draco: "Wasn't my first, but I'll consider it my first since my actual first doesn't count"

Asuka: "Who was your first?"

Draco: "I really shouldn't say"

Asuka's eyes lit up.

Asuka: "No! You have to tell me now"

I regretted even bringing it up, however I just said it.

Draco: "It was Nozomi"

She gasped.

Draco: "H-Hold on!! Let me explain!!"

Asuka: "You better, or I'm telling Yuki"

She winked at me.

Draco: "When the two of us were much younger, she snuck up and kissed me, just because she said she wanted to practice for the cute girl in her class"

Asuka: "Okay, that wasn't too bad. I was worried there'd be some weird incest thing going on"

Draco: "N-No!!"

She giggled.

Asuka: "You're so red, I can't—!"

She laughed harder, making me chuckle a little.

Asuka: "As fun as this is, we need to get some sleep. You should stay in bed and don't get up for anything"

I smirked.

Draco: "But I'm on the couch"

She flicked me on my ear and smiled.

Asuka: "You know what I mean, jerk!"

She helped me lay back down after getting up, getting me a pillow and blanket.

Asuka: "Get some sleep, okay?"

Draco: "You too"

Asuka left me alone in the living room to sleep.

An hour had gone by and I still wasn't asleep. I won't even lie, I had Asuka on my mind. The kiss kept replaying in my head. It was amazing, don't get me wrong, but part of me was still really embarrassed that it happened. I didn't want it to ruin things between us. But it looked like Asuka was still her old self.

Something else kept me up, the thought of fighting Alan again. He beat the hell out of me and I didn't stand a chance. The only thing I could do was try to train and get better.

Sorry Asuka.

I slowly and carefully got out of bed and walked into the front yard. Standing against one of the trees and looking at her dagger, was Yuki, standing alone in the dark.

Draco: "Couldn't sleep either?"

Yuki seemed a little surprised to see me, however she quickly regained her composure.

Yuki: "You should be resting, dumbass. Get back in there and lay down"

Draco: "I can't sleep anyways"

Yuki sighed.

Yuki: "It's Alan, isn't it?"

I nodded.

Draco: "I definitely can't beat him as I am now. I don't know what his powers are, but even just hand to hand, I got destroyed"

I looked up at her.

Draco: "Please, teach me how to fight"

Yuki responded quick.

Yuki: "No"

Draco: "The rest of you had years to train to fight, I've had about a week. I was supposed to take your combat class, but all this got in the way. Please, you're the only one I know can teach me"

Yuki: "I said no"

I got down on the ground and placed my head on the dirt, right in front of her.

Draco: "Please, Yuki, I can't lose to him again. I need to get stronger, I need to learn how to fight like you"

Yuki sighed but grinned.

Yuki: "It'll be absolute hell"

Draco: "I've been fighting things from hell every day"

Suddenly, Yuki's eyes went dark.

Yuki: "And just where the hell do you think you're looking?"

Draco: "H-Huh?"

I looked up at her and saw right up her skirt. Thankfully, it was dark out and I couldn't see. Yuki, on the other hand, didn't care. I got a punch right to the head and she walked a few feet away from me.

Yuki: "When you're able to stand again, we'll start. But since you decided to be a perv, I'll beat you up extra hard"

Draco: "T-That's not— Oh never mind!!"

I gave up in trying to defend myself and got to my feet.

Yuki: "The key to fighting isn't some flashy martial arts move or anything like that. It's about reading your opponent's body and movements to determine what they'll do. Then, you form a counter. I'll demonstrate, so come at me"

I got flashbacks to when we first fought back in the House of God. She kicked my ass back then, I wouldn't make the same mistakes this time.

I rushed at her, throwing a punch and holding nothing back. She simply sidestepped and pushed me to the ground.

Yuki: "That was way too obvious, I could see that coming a mile away"

She grabbed my hand and helped me up.

Yuki: "You play basketball, right?"

Draco: "By myself, but yeah"

Yuki smirked.

Yuki: "That's pathetic~"

Draco: "Your point?"

Yuki: "You know about fakes and stuff, it's the same when fighting. You can fake an attack and use your real one. Watch, I'll demonstrate"

She put her arms up like she was ready to box. She then began to move her upper half to the left, however at the very last second, she switched and went right, slamming her fist into my face.

Draco: "O-Ow!!"

Yuki: "Like that. You could also fake a punch and go in for a real one. But before any of that, analyze and read your opponent. I'm probably making it sound more complicated than it actually is, so just try it. You come at me this time"

I took a deep breath and did as she said. I kept an eye on her body, mainly her legs and the positioning of her feet. I would move slightly and she would move too.

What happened next, I can't exactly describe. It's as if my body moved on its own and time slowed down. I was hyper focused and could read every motion Yuki made. I moved in and faked a punch with my left fist before throwing my real punch. Yuki managed to dodge it and push it to the side.

She went for a counter punch, however I managed to weave around it and go for another attack. She swiped my legs, making me fall back. Without realizing it, I had done a backflip and was back on my feet.

Yuki: "Damn! There you go!!"

Yuki ran at me this time, throwing punch after punch. Time seemed to have slowed down enough for me to either push away or dodge her punches entirely. I only countered when I saw an opening, however none of us could land a single blow. After a few minutes of back and forth, she backed up and lowered her guard.

Yuki: "You're a very quick learner, I'm actually somewhat impressed"

I smirked.

Draco: "Thanks for the compliment, but I'm not done until I land a hit!"

Yuki rolled her eyes.

Yuki: "Then we'll be up all night"

She pulled out her phone and set a timer for a minute.

Yuki: "Land a hit on me in under a minute and I'll give you a reward"

Draco: "Huh? What kind?"

Yuki: "Anything you want~ I know boys are simple enough, you'll probably ask to see my boobs or something"

Draco: "N-No!! Why would I want that?!"

Yuki started laughing.

Yuki: "Dude, I'm messing with you. But you'd probably be the person to ask to see my panties or something"

Draco: "You know what, if I win, you have to admit I'm a better fighter than you!!"

Yuki's eyes grew sharp.

Yuki: "Oh, it's on"

She got into a fighting stance, same as me. We charged at each other and went at it. Punch after punch on both sides were either dodged or deflected, no one seemed to have the upper hand. Almost all of our time had gone by and still nothing.

Yuki: "Come on! You wanna be called a better fighter than me, yet you haven't landed one hit!"

Draco: "Same goes for you!"

Suddenly, Yuki slid behind me, grabbed me by hood, and flipped me over her head. I landed face first into the dirt just as the timer went off. She put her heel on the back of my head like she did back at the House of God.

Yuki: "Who's the better fighter now, huh?"

Draco: "Y-You"

Yuki: "You're damned right!"

Draco: "Alright, I lost, now can you get off?"

Yuki: "Yeah, my bad"

She moved her foot and helped me up.

Yuki: "You should probably go shower before you head to bed. Guess we went a little too hard"

Draco: "Yeah, I'll sleep good though"

I turned to go back inside, however I stopped myself and turned back to her.

Draco: "Hey... Yuki, thanks. I know we don't get along very often, but I'm really glad to have you on the team. Everyone means a lot to me, even you. I don't know where we'd be without you, so thanks. You're an amazing person that I've always kind of been jealous of. You're good at literally everything and I bet Nozomi loves you more than she does me. All I'm saying, is thanks for sticking with me, I mean it"

Yuki blushed and stormed off.

Yuki: "S-Shut up!! Go shower and get some rest you dumbass!!!"

I smiled and walked back into the house. I quickly showered and finally went to sleep. Thankfully, I was able to sleep in a separate guest bedroom. No dreams that night, which was a blessing.

When I woke up, it was almost 10am. I got out of bed and changed into a fresh new set of clothes. However I saw my purple hoodie was cleaned too, even the holes in it were sown back together. There was a little note on my folded hoodie from Asuka.

Thanks for the kiss last night, hope this makes up for it! <3

I blushed hard, however it felt good knowing it hadn't ruined things between us.

I put my hoodie on and walked out of the bedroom in time to see everyone gathered around the dining room table. They were eating a quick breakfast and had a plate ready for me.

Asuka: "Morning, sleepy head. I was about ready to come wake you"

I blushed, not meaning to. I couldn't let the others know about what Asuka and I did last night.

Draco: "I'm good, I just needed the sleep after yesterday"

Yuki: "What's on the agenda for today?"

Alex: "We're taking down Alan, not sure how we do it yet"

Nozomi: "We could go with the plan about me talking to him"

Draco: "I don't like it... It's too risky. We don't know what he'll do"

Nozomi: "Draco, come on, he won't kill me, I know he won't"

Yuki: "Nozomi, it's is brotherly side showing. Brothers get really protective of their sisters, so he's obviously going to be against any plan that puts you in danger"

Draco: "If it were up to me, I would take him down myself. But I obviously can't"

I sat down next to Nozomi.

Draco: "If you think you can do this, I'll back you up. I know I haven't seen everything you can do as an Exorcist, but I trust you"

She smiled.

Nozomi: "Thank you, I'll try my best!"

Alex: "Then we'll go at three, when school lets out. Everyone should be gone by then"

Scarlet: "I'm coming too"

Alex: "No, you're not"

Yuki: "Here we go with the brotherly love again. Alex, she was there when we fought him the first time"

Scarlet: "And if you're risking your life so that we live past the end of this week, then I'm doing it too"

Alex: "Scarlet, I can't... If anything happened to you—"

Scarlet jumped out of her seat and slammed her hands on the table.

Scarlet: "What am I supposed to do if something happens to you?!"

Alex went silent.

Scarlet: "Whether you agree or not, I'm going. So you can either support me on it or shut up and watch me go with"

Alex: "Fine, but if I tell you to run, you run"

Scarlet: "Right"

Asuka: "Then we leave at three, we should prepare"

We got to work preparing holy water and demon binding sigils. Yuki produced the water, don't ask, then Alex boiled the literal hell out of the water, and finally Nozomi blessed the water. Asuka created multiple flasks to hold the water in while Scarlet and I drew out the sigils on thin slips of paper.

Scarlet: "No, that's all wrong, it's supposed to look like this"

She showed me hers.

Draco: "Sorry, I'm not much of an artist"

I tried again and failed again.

Scarlet: "Maybe you should leave these to me"

Draco: "What should I do in the meantime?"

Scarlet: "I dunno, maybe go see if they need help with the holy water"

I saw the rest of them producing the holy water like a well oiled machine. Naturally, I decided they didn't need my help and took a step outside.

From the shadow of a tree, I heard Shadow's voice.

Shadow: "Draco, you need to hurry"

I turned to try and find him, however he wasn't there. He was still hidden inside the shadow of the tree.

Shadow: "He's making his move tomorrow, we don't have much time. You need to hurry and beat the last three Sins!"

Draco: "W-What?! What do you mean?!"

There was no reply.

Draco: "Shadow!!!!"

Nothing.

I ran back into the house and told them everything.

Asuka: "What?!"

Alex: "Damnit... We were pressed on time as it is. Now we only have today"

Draco: "At least we know where Alan is, maybe we can go find another—"

Yuki: "No, Alan is our biggest threat right now. Let's take him down while we're ready"

I clenched my fist.

Draco: "If Annis didn't vanish, I could use my Dragon Bane. Where did she even go!"

Nozomi: "Maybe an issue in Heaven"

Draco: "Without her, I can't force it to activate"

Alex: "You've done it before. It may have been an accident, but we'll have to hope you can do it again"

Asuka: "So... we're leaving now? But school is still going"

Draco: "I'm about to do something I've always wanted to do"

Alex grew worried.

Alex: "No, man, you can't be serious"

I smirked.

Draco: "This'll be fun"

We had just arrived at the school and we took this time to knock out all the cameras in the area. We walked inside and I saw the fire alarm trigger on the wall.

Draco: "I've been waiting my whole life for this moment"

Yuki: "Just do it before we get caught!!!"

I pulled down on the switch, making the fire alarms sound off. As the alarms went off, students and staff piled out of the building fast.

Draco: "Now's our chance, let's—"

Before we could move, Alan appeared in front of me.

Alan: "You didn't learn from last time, huh? Guess I need to kick your teeth in harder!!"

He back kicked me right on the head, sending me to the ground. Alex and Yuki lunged at him, however he vanished into mist.

Alex: "You good?!"

I sat up and rubbed my head.

Draco: "Yeah, where'd he go?!"

Suddenly, the area around us grew dark. The sky was pitch black and we couldn't see 50 feet in front of us all around.

Alex: "Stay on guard!!"

Everyone had their weapons drawn and I was back on my feet. We all stood back to back, covering each other's blind spots. From the darkness, we could hear Alan's voice echoing.

Alan: "I didn't think you were stupid enough to come back after the ass beating I gave you last time, guess you guys are complete idiots"

A Demon ran out from the darkness, however Alex cut it down quickly.

Alex: "W-What the? I barely felt that"

Asuka: "That's it!! It's illusions!! He can create illusions!!"

Another Demon ran out and charged at Alex.

Alex: "If it's only illusions, we're fine"

The Demon suddenly slammed his fist into Alex, sending him flying back.

Draco: "Alex!!!"

Asuka: "O-Okay, maybe not!!"

Nozomi ran over to heal Alex while the rest of us covered her. More Demons ran out from the darkness, however Asuka pulled multiple flasks of holy water and tossed them at the Demons. The glass shattered and the Demons became drenched in holy water, burning away within seconds.

Alex: "W-What should we do?"

Alan's voice echoed around us.

Alan: "You can all die!!!"

He came flying out from the darkness with a dagger in hand. Right before it could plunge itself into my heart, Yuki jumped in front of me, taking the dagger into her left shoulder.

Nozomi: "YUKI!!!!"

Yuki: "I-I'm fine!!"

She grabbed onto her shoulder.

Yuki: "F-Fuck!! Definitely not an illusion!!"

Yuki was about to pull it out.

Draco: "Wait! Don't pull it out! It'll keep the bleeding to a minimum"

Yuki: "You say that when you have a knife in your shoulder!! Keep your eyes open next time and be thankful I saved your sorry life!!"

Nozomi ran over, however Alan appeared in front of her.

Alan: "Sorry, my Queen~ But your healing is getting very annoying"

Nozomi: "A-Alan, wait—"

He swung his fist into the side of her head. Nozomi crumbled to the floor, knocked out.

Draco: "YOU BASTARD!!!!!"

I charged at him with my sword in hand. The second I swung my sword, he blocked with his own.

Alan: "She's fine, I would never hurt her that badly. You on the other hand..."

He swiped at my legs to make me trip, however after learning with Yuki, I was ready for this. The second he tripped me, I flipped back and got back to my feet.

Alan: "Learned a little something, huh? Too bad it won't matter when your head is flat against the pavement!!"

He charged at me, however just like with Yuki, I was able to either deflect or dodge his punches and kicks. Despite this, he was getting faster. A punch managed to land on my side, making me vulnerable to another attack. Before I knew it, I was on the ground.

When I turned around, I saw Asuka and the rest were fighting off their own copies of Alan. Scarlet and Yuki were already on the ground, however Asuka and Alex were still fighting.

Alan kneeled down and grabbed me by my hair, making me look up at him.

Alan: "You were right, you know. I use illusions, however while they appear as something different, they were very much real~ For example, you know this is me, but with a simple wave of my hand..."

He waved his hand and he suddenly transformed into me.

Alan: "I'm still real, but the illusion is that I am you~"

He punched me in the face again, turning back to himself right after.

Alan: "Your sister has always looked so beautiful, too bad she had a brother like you..."

He knelt down and place his hand on her chest, squeezing and groping.

Draco: "GET YOUR FUCKING HANDS OFF OF HER!!!!!!"

He grinned like a psycho.

Alan: "I think there's one more thing I need to do"

I scowled up at him.

Draco: "What the hell did I ever do to you?!!"

He smirked.

Alan: "It's not what you did to me, it's what your parents did to me"

The words echoed in my head.

Draco: "W-What?"

Alan: "I've known about what you are for years, my parents actually used to be Exorcists too, you know. But, your parents are the ones that killed them"

My heart began to race.

Alan: "Of course, you had nothing to do with it. You even ended up killing them with your own two hands"

Adrenaline rushed through my veins.

Alan: "Despite you being the one to get revenge on my parents' killers, I still held so much anger inside, so naturally, I took it out on the bastard son of the people who killed them!!!!"

He slammed his foot into my face.

Alan: "Your family took everything from me... Now, I'll take everything from you. Your sister will be mine, and the rest of your precious little friends will have their blood soaking the streets!!!"

I tried to get up, however another Alan appeared on top of me and held me down. All I could do was watch as Alex and Asuka were slowly taken down as well.

He approached Asuka.

Draco: "W-Wait...!"

He grabbed Asuka and sat her up.

Draco: "G-Get away from her!!"

He went up behind her and held up a dagger to her neck.

Draco: "S-STOP!!!!"

Alan: "Say goodbye"

Asuka: "D-Draco..."

Draco: "ALAN!! STOP!!! PLEASE!!! DON'T DO THIS!!!!"

Asuka: "I-I love—"

The dagger cut right into Asuka's throat.

Everything went black.

Asuka: "Stop!!! That's enough!!! Draco please!!!!"

When the darkness cleared, I was inside a massive crater. Asuka was holding onto me from behind, crying into my back. I looked down and saw what used to be Alan, his face beaten and punched flat into the ground. His skull was flat as well. There were multiple parts of his body that were missing, almost like they were bitten off by some animal. My hands were coated in blood and it wasn't mine.

Asuka: "P-Please... I-It's okay..."

Tears swelled in my eyes.

Draco: "W-What... W-What happened...? W-Who did this?"

Asuka: "Y-You did..."

Everything inside me shattered. I grabbed ahold of Asuka and held her close, crying into her chest.

Draco: "I-I... I-I'm sorry...."

I held her tighter.

Draco: "I-I'm so sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!"

When I say it's about to go down, I mean it~

Wow, that was a crazy chapter! Ever since starting this book, I've had that very scene planned and in my head. Finally, I was able to write it out and next chapter, you'll see what actually happened!
