An anime adaptation by A-1 Pictures began airing in 2011, titled Uta no Prince-sama: Maji Love 1000% (うたの☆プリンスさまっ♪ マジLOVE1000％), which was then followed by three sequels and a 2019 animated film titled Uta no Prince-sama: Maji Love Kingdom.

The franchise has been well-received in Japan, with thousands of music CDs sold and charting on mainstream music charts. The games have been awarded "Best Consumer Game" in Dengeki Girls' Style Otome Game Awards 2011

Plot:
Haruka Nanami, an aspiring composer from the countryside, longs to write music for her beloved idol, Hayato Ichinose. Determined to accomplish this goal, she enrolls into Saotome Academy, a highly regarded vocational school for the performing arts. Upon her arrival, Haruka soon learns that everyone on staff, including the headmaster, is either an idol, a composer, or a poet. To top it all off, she is surrounded by incredibly talented future idols and composers, and the competition among the students is fierce; with the possibility of recruitment by the Shining Agency upon graduation, the stakes are incredibly high. As she strives to reach her dream at the academy, one fateful night, a series of events lead Haruka to a mysterious man standing in the moonlight, and he seems a bit familiar... Review:
  Okay, before anyone judge,
I watch this anime because of music, not because of hot anime boys.

I went into music frenzy back in middle school and through high school, some music were emo, some bright and happy, some straight up japanese-Koren Pop, Rock or whatever it called today to anime songs.

And I like 1000% music in this, it was awesome! And amazing!

I was glad more seasons came out, I tried my best to keep up with it, but I think, I stop at season 4? Not 100% sure but I will pick this anime up again, and rewatch entire seasons again!
