Chapter Fifteen: Magical Moments

I hope everyone's Black Friday madness went as well as hoped 😜 I know mine did and I got everything I aimed for.

Now as for the last chapter of Naruto, I was disappointed, not gonna lie 😔 I felt kinda bad because of it, too, but whatever a chapters a chapter. The last episode was pretty good, though, I liked seeing Dan more. Too bad it's probably the last time we'll see Itachi, though, and that's saddening. Wish the next episode/chapter would come out already.

As for Attack on Titan, the next chapter needs to come out already! 😠 I am becoming very upset!

My Sakura short story is on hold for now. Sorry. I have a new chapter up for my Attack on Titan story and I'm also working on two other short stories. One will definitely be up before Christmas! Also, I am very sorry about the editing. I was watching The Walking Dead while I was doing it and I cried and stuff that night so yeah lol 😊😙 But I'll stop now and let you all read. Enjoy!

Chapter Fifteen:

Magical Moments

"Whoa!" Naruto's face puffed up with his hands pushing his cheeks together. "What is this stuff?"

We were gathered in the kitchen: Sasuke washing dishes, Sai drawing, Naruto watching me, and Kakashi reading. It was late at night and we had just come back from the theater were we enjoyed a nice little local play. All together, it was perfect evening.

"Deep fried Twinkies," I laughed, as I pulled the fatty food up out of the grease. "Want one?"

"Yeah!" He said, taking the stick from my hand. In one second he had slurped the entire thing up. "That was delicious! Who taught you how to make these?"

"My mom," I smiled, sadness sweeping through me. "She also taught me how to make deep fried Oreos and pickles."

"Pickles?" Sai said, looking up from his drawing. "Who in the world would want those disgusting little things battered up and fried in oil?"

"Me," I laughed. "Especially my dad, he loves them."

"Have you called your dad since yesterday?" Naruto asked, licking his fingers.

"Yeah," I shook my head, putting the last batch of Twinkies in the deep frier. "I called him before we went and saw that play. He was going to bed early, though. He said he had a mission tomorrow."

"Your dads really smart," Naruto commented. "Is that where you get it from?"

"Get what from?"

"Must not be then."

"Uh," I slapped his shoulder. "Shut up!"

"Sorry," He laughed, putting his hands up in surrender. "You should make more of these."

"I'm on the last two now," I held up the empty box. "Kakashi and I ate them all."

"What if I go get more?" Naruto offered. "Would you make them then?"

"Sure," I laughed. "But can it wait until tomorrow? I'm getting tired."

"Me, too," Naruto agreed, stretching out his arms. "I think I'm going to go crash."

"Same here," Sai picked up his book and pencil. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight," I told them, picking the Twinkies up.

"Thank you," Naruto said, taking one of the Twinkies. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight, Naruto," I laughed. "Kakashi, do you want the last one?"

"Sure," He smiled, taking the stick from me. "I'm going to go lay down, though, so goodnight you two."

"Goodnight." I smiled as he walked out of the kitchen, turning the living room lights out as he went.

That left Sasuke and I alone in the dim light produced from the overhead sink light. I began to drain the grease and set the fryer in the sink. Sasuke watched me as I poured water into the object.

"What?" I asked, looking at him.

"Nothing," He gave me a cocky smile. "Just trying to decided which is more beautiful, the stars or you."

I blushed, "And what did you conclude?"

He moved to where he was standing behind me. Then bent down to where he was breathing in my ear, sending chills down my spine. I felt his arms wrap around my waist.

"What do you think?" He whispered.

"I don't know," I stumbled over my words. "The stars?"

"No," His husky voice said. "You couldn't be more incorrect."

"I'm sorry," I nervously laughed. "I guess I'm just not that good of a mind reader."

"Must not be," His hands slid down my sides to my hips.

I spun around in his arms and lifted me up on to the counter next to the sink. He lowered his face closer to mine and I could see his onyx eyes perfectly in the light. They were breath taking.

"Sasuke?" I said, as his hands covered both sides of my face.

"Hn?" He mumbled, pressing his lips to my forehead.

"You have gorgeous eyes," I smiled, brushing my fingertips across his cheek. "They're mesmerizing."

"Thank you," He said, capturing my hand and kissing the tips of my fingers. "You have a beautiful everything."

I blushed and pulled my hand away from him. I pulled his chin closer to me and kissed him. Slowly and softly at first then quickened the pace as his lips did. I shivered as he pulled me closer, crushing me into his chest. Suddenly, I felt alive. For the first time since my mom died, I felt truly alive. And it hit me hard. I pulled away from Sasuke and sucked in a deep breath.

"Sakura?" Sasuke said, touching my cheek. "What's wrong?"

"I'm sorry," I snub, tears starting to form. "It's just. . . Well I'm really happy, that's all. And it's just . . . It's been the first time I've felt this way since mom died and . . . " I started to cry, my heart breaking. "And it just feels really good and scary at the same time. It's like I want to be happy, but . . . I'm afraid you'll," I stopped to breath and Sasuke wiped away my tears. "I'm afraid you'll leave me. . . again."

"Sakura," Sasuke pressed his forehead against mine. "I will never ever leave you, ever again," He placed his hands on either side of my face. "I promise." He said and kissed me.

Just one peck on my lips, that lasted an eternity. I placed my hands against his and kissed him again. I pulled back and he caught my lip between his, gently pulling on it. I groaned and wrapped my legs around him. Electricity shot into the pit of my stomach as he picked me up by the hips. I wrapped my arms around his neck and looked at him. His dark eyes were hidden by his cascading hair. It was sexy in this adorable kind of way.

"Where are we going?" I whispered, as he started up the steps.

"Your room." He replied, turning at the top of the steps and quietly make his way over to my door. He turned the knob and opened the door to my chilly room.

Setting me down on the edge of the bed, Sasuke turned back to shut the door. I felt nervous and anxious as he turned back to me, his eyes seductive. Turning the light on the nightstand on, he made his way over to me and slowly pushed me back into the bed. He hovered overtop of me, just staring. I knew I was blushing like a crazed woman, but I couldn't help it.

"What's wrong?" He mumbled, leaning in closer to me.

"Just . . . Nervous," I started, placing a hand on his chest. "This is all new to me."

"Me, too," He smiled. "You're the only girl I've ever kissed."

"Really?" My eyes widened. "Are you serious? I figured the great Sasuke Uchiha would of kissed more than just me and Naruto."

"Shut up," He laughed. "I'm still trying to force that memory out of my mind."

"Now why would you want to forget that magical moment?" I smiled, leaning up and rubbing my nose against his. "Such fond memories."

"So fond," Sasuke muttered, pressing his lips to mine. "So fond, in fact, we should make some more."

"Who? Me and you or you and Naruto?" I laughed, grasping his shirt collar.

"Lets find out," He laughed, pressing me back on the bed. "We'll start here and see where it goes."

"Sounds like a plan." I shivered, as he started kissing my neck.

"What's your favorite color?" I asked, running my hand over his bare chest.

"Green," He kissed my hair. "Like your eyes."

"Liar," I smiled. "But still good."

"What's your favorite animal?" He asked, pulling the blanket up higher over us.

It was well after midnight which meant we had made out and cuddled for a little over three hours. Every second of it was fantastic. We didn't have sex, though, just enjoyed each others comfort. We were laying in bed, me leaning on Sasuke, cuddled up together. His shirt had some how gotten slung across the room and I enjoyed that. His chest was scattered with scars and hard muscles lining every inch of it.

"I don't really have a favorite," I mumbled into his chest. "I like all animals, I think, even the ugly ones. Now if you asked me which one I would prefer to spend time with that'd be a different answer. I would probably choose like a cat or possibly a dog."

"What about a snake?" Sasuke said.

"Um, probably not," I laughed. "They kinda creep me out with that little hissing noise they do and their tongues."

"I thought girls like that," Sasuke muttered. "I thought that's what they always say in the bed: use your snake tongue on me, baby."

"Wow," I giggled. "I don't think that's how it goes."

"Hm," He said, sleepily. "You sure?"

"Yep," I leaned up and kissed cheek. "You sleepy?"

"Hn," He said, closing his eyes. "A little bit."

"Sasuke?" I placed my hand over his heart. "Can I ask you something?"

"Hn?"

"Do you ever feel lonely?"

His body stiffened up a bit causing me to glance up at him. His eyes were open now, staring at the ceiling.

"Yeah," He said, pulling me closer to his side. "But I haven't for a long time now."

"That's good," I smiled, rubbing my face on his chest. "Why?"

"Because of you," He said, tousling my hair. "And Naruto, Kakashi. The others. It's still strange to believe that you all forgave me and welcomed me back home."

"Well, what did you expect?" I laughed. "It's where you belong, Sasuke-kun."

He smiled, "It's been awhile since you've called me that."

"Yeah, well, I thought you didn't care too much for it," I smiled. "Besides I think just calling you Sasuke does the trick."

"Both sound pretty good," Sasuke yawned. "But why did you ask about feeling lonely? Are you lonely?"

"I use to be," I admitted. "A lot after you left then things gradually got better. Then it went downhill when mom passed, but things are better now that Team 7 is back together. I swear, it's like you guys are my second family."

"I know what you mean," Sasuke yawned. "You all are basically my family."

"Uh huh," I yawned. "That's good then."

"You tired?" He pulled me in closer to his body.

I nodded.

"Okay," He kissed my forehead then leaned over to turn out the light. "Goodnight."

He pulled me into his arms and we drifted off to sleep. I think I can get use to this sleeping in his arms thing, I thought. It's pretty nice.

"Sakuraa-chaann," I heard Naruto's voice say. "Teme!"

"Quit it, dobe," Sasuke grumbled. "And stop poking me with that damn box."

I fluttered my eyes open.

"What box?" I asked, groggily, looking at Naruto, who was hovering over us with a box in his hand.

"This box," He informed, shoving it in my face. "You told me that as long as I went out and got the stuff, you'd make the food."

I groaned and rolled over, burying my face into the pillow.

"Huh? Eh? Sakura-chan, whatcha doing?" Naruto poked my head. "Get up, it's ten o'clock already! You guys have been in bed long enough. I can't believe you guys slept together on the first night! Teme, you horn dog!"

"Naruto!" I yelled.

"Get out!" Sasuke jumped up at him.

"Ah!" Naruto ran for the door. "I'm going, I'm going!"

After the door slammed shut, I slouched back down in the bed. I sleepily ran my hands over my hair, trying to make the mess look a little bit more situated. Sasuke stood and stretched, his back muscles flexing along with his arms. I had to divert my eyes as he did his signature sexy move of running his fingers through his hair.

"Sakura?" Sasuke said, his voice still husky from sleep.

"Yeah?" I sat up and slung my legs over the side of the bed, our backs facing each others.

"Do you want to go on a date with me?" He almost muttered the question saying it so quickly.

I smiled, "Sure."

"How does tonight sound?" He asked, walking across the room towards the door.

"Sounds perfect," I stood up and stretched. "What time?"

"Seven," He opened the door. "No later."

"K." I said, as he shut the door.

I sat there for a moment then sighed and slung myself back down on the bed. What should I wear?

"So you dip them like this for twenty seconds?" Naruto asked, setting the Twinkie down in the bubbling grease.

"Unless you want them a little crunchy," I explained, putting a plastic stick in another one. "Then you leave it in for thirty seconds."

"Okay," He nodded, intensely staring at the thing. "Is this good enough?"

"Yeah," I nodded, glancing at the puffy swollen junk food. "Now just do how many ever you want of them and let them all cool for a bit."

"Alright," He smiled. "Can't wait to make these for Hinata! She'll love 'em."

I smiled and lifted myself up off the stool. I stopped, half tempted to turn back for fear of Naruto blowing up something or burning himself, but decided to go against my fears and keep walking.

Kakashi and Sai were in the living room, Sai in the floor painting and Kakashi setting in the recliner reading. I went upstairs and started for my room. Sasuke and Naruto's door was open, just a crack. I could see Sasuke inside, palms together and legs crossed. He was meditating? I smiled and went to my room. I picked up my pink basket of toiletries and went to the shower.

The shower water was cold compared to what it usually was and I made sure to make it quick. I pulled my towel around me tight, picked up my basket, and headed back to my room.

"Sakkurraa-chann!!" Naruto yelled. "I think I messed up! Sakuraaa-chann!"

"Shut up, dobe!" Sasuke yelled from his room.

"Sakura!" Naruto continued to yell.

"Just answer him already, Ugly!" Sai commented. "He'll stop if you do."

"Sakura!"

"Shut up!" Sasuke said, again, this time opening his door.

"What!?" I yelled, dropping my basket. "What could you have possibly done now, Naruto!?"

"Never mind," He answered. "I fixed it."

"Geez," I grumbled, swooping down to pick up my basket.

"Here," Sasuke said, handing me my bottle of shampoo. "Naruto never changes."

"Tell me about it," I laughed, taking the bottle from him. "Thanks."

Without another word, we parted ways. I smiled and opened the door. It's strange, I though. We can go from talking all night to barely speaking a word and it was perfectly fine with me.

I opened the door to the closet and stared at what choices I had available. Okay, I thought. What do I even wear on a date? A v neck? No, too showy. A skirt? Too cold. Leggings and a sweater dress? No, too formal. As I pulled out the last available sweater and jeans in the wardrobe, I gave a sigh. I guess this is it.

I pulled on the grey sweater with white lace on the shoulders and dark washed jeans. Some light makeup and a few gel infused scrunches later, I looked fantastic. I slid on some knee highs and leather boots, then glanced at the clock. Still thirty minutes until time to go. What should I do? I thought, setting on the edge of the bed. I can't go downstairs yet, he'll think I'm desperate. I laid back, staring at my ceiling.

Mom, I said. Wish me luck. I know dad wouldn't support me on this, but you would. I smiled. So, just make sure you're looking down on me tonight.

Dad, I thought. I should call him or something. I picked up my cell phone and hit his number. He picked up on the second ring.

"Hey, dad," I smiled. "What's up?"

"Nothing much, girlie," He laughed. "Just picking up some take out. What about you?"

"Setting here," I lied. "I'm ready to go home. I can't wait to sleep in my own bed. Oo, and go to the Dina's Diner! That sounds fantastic."

"Haha," Dad laughed. "Would be nice to have some company at dinner."

"Yeah," I agreed. "Speaking of dinner company-"

"Please don't tell me you met some hunk in the snowy hills and are going out with him tonight!?" Dad blurted.

"No, no," I awkwardly laughed. "But I do have a d-"

"Sakura-chann!" Naruto yelled, as he barged through the door.

"Oh my kami!" I pulled the phone away from my ear. "What do you want, Naruto!?"

"Can you teach me how to make pickles in that deep frier thingy?" He laid down on the bed, staring at me with huge eyes. "Huh?"

"Yeah," I answered. "Just give me a second. In talking to my dad."

"Okay and Sasuke wants you," Naruto stood up. "He's downstairs."

"Okay." I put the phone back up to my ear. "Hey, Dad, I'll call you back later. Love you, bye."

"Love you, too." He said, before ending the call.

"Naruto!" I yelped, opening the door and darting down the stairs. "Do you even have pickles?"

"Pickles?" Kakashi mumbled. "What is she talking about?"

"He's in the kitchen," Sai muttered. "Making a mess."

"Naruto-" I walked into the kitchen and stared at pure hell. There was something green on the walls and dishes scattered everywhere. Condiments and seasoning spread about the counter, making the room smell of salt and sugar. "What happened here?"

"Oh, hey," Naruto waved his hand, popping out from behind the island.

"Dobe," Sasuke grumbled, pulling himself up on the counter.

"Shut up, teme," Naruto's eyes narrowed. "You didn't have to come help me."

"I didn't!" Sasuke spat back. "I was going to the laundry room!"

"Naruto!" I yelled. "Clean this up!"

"But, Sakura!" Naruto pleaded. "Won't you help me?"

"No!" I was raging. "I have a date and when I get back this kitchen better look like this," I pointed around. "Never happened!"

"Sakura-chan!" Naruto's eyes watered up.

"I don't care!" I retorted, stomping away.

"Date?" Sai repeated, staring at his book. "Date, a dried prune. You're going on a dried prune?"

"No, baka!" I grumbled. "Shut up and start using Google."

"Google?" He questioned. "What's a Google?"

I slammed the door and threw myself down on the bed. Naruto, you are such an idiot.
