1 - Ignoring, Again
To say she's obsessed with him would be an overstatement. Indeed, she loved him with all her heart, sometimes to the point where he means more than her. Years, for years she devoted all her love for Kim Jongin, who never once felt the need to accept her love.
Moon Jiwoo, a name he didn't want to hear.
He even made a ban for anyone to speak of the name whenever he's around. Even his friends didn't dare to say her name. Most likely because of the previous cases where he sent one of his minions to stay the night at the most dangerous part of the woods.
Kim Jongin, the name would send chills for most how knew him. With a personality that could reach the coldness of the deepest part of the ocean.
But that never made Jiwoo gave up to make the lad notice her. Well, in a sense, he did notice her. He just never cared for her, he didn't want to have anything to do with her.
Jiwoo always planted in her mind, at the end of the tiring journey in the storm, in the end, you'll be greeted with skies of brightness and a beautiful rainbow. Hence, her trials would be fruitful. But will it really?
----------------
The sun bids hello as she headed out to get things done for the day. The weekends would usually cause people to stay in and get a bit more time sleep, but that wasn't the same for her.
Heading to the only coffee place that opens early in the morning, she got herself a cup of tea and sat silently at a corner with her laptop, getting her assignments done. Every time the door of the shop opens, her head would always snap up to look at who came in.
After an hour of sitting there and constantly moving her gaze from her laptop to the door, a figure she wanted to see appeared.
Her eyes turned calm, feeling warm throughout her heart, she stared at the person.
He noticed her presence. In all honesty, he felt tired of her. But somehow, he didn't feel mean enough to tell her off, unlike how he would with others.
"Could you kick her out whenever she comes? I'm sick of having to see her there staring at me every weekend," Jongin said to the only worker who's working the morning shift.
The lad stuttered to give him a reply, knowing all too well he can't screw up his answer but he could only muster up the energy to tilt his head a bit and give out an 'well...' expression.
"Nevermind, just give me my usual," stoic expression on his face, Jongin paid for his drink and found himself a chair and sat down.
"Jongin," the female called from afar with a slow voice, just enough to be heard by him. Responding with a hum, he didn't even bother to look at her.
"Are you still going to ignore me?" anxiousness evident in her tone. She knew the question of hers is a trip into dangerous waters but she wanted an answer, despite asking the same question over and over again.
As she expected, he replied with a hum like he usually does. "Ah, okay..." she slowly reverted her gaze back to her laptop screen and her fingers gliding across the keyboard mindlessly.
Noticing his coffee was done, he stood up and took his coffee. Straight away he headed out into the cold morning for his morning jog.
The worker watched as Jongin disappeared from sight before heading towards Jiwoo.
"Jiwoo, don't you think you should stop?" he asked her, worried for her.
"You know better. I love him with all my heart. I just don't think I can Jinyong," replied, looking at the sad expression of her brother.
"I can't even kick you out on weekend mornings, even if I need to. He clearly doesn't appreciate all that you're doing for him," finally sitting down, next to her.
"I think I'll get going now, see you at home later," Jiwoo quickly stored all her things in her bag and slung it over her shoulders before running towards the door.
"Hey, at least take your tea with you!" Jinyong said but his sister had already disappeared from sight.
As Jiwoo made a run with her quite heavy bag putting on weight that's caused her to have a slow pace, she could still easily make out the figure who's doing laps in the park.
Halting her steps, she held her bag tightly and took deep breaths. Small, timid, slow steps she took to walk towards one of the benches of the park.
Noticing how she was making her way to the park, he shook his head. "Why are you constantly being like this?" he shouted making her stop and look at the ground, processing on what she should be replying.
"It's been years Jongin. Years! Why are you still treating me like this?" her voice cracked as she shouted back to the lad who had his arms crossed.
"Because you scare me with you love. It's a nightmare, Jiwoo!" his face clearly had an angered expression. Gulping on the lump in her throat, she stood still, staring into the glaring eyes that bore through her.
"Just leave me alone. I rather face a group of armed man than to even think of accepting your love."
