I woke up to my friends surrounding me in a semi dark room. What is going on? After they notice I'm awake it becomes chaotic. Everyone is talking and I already have a headache and didn't need the extra noise making it worse.
     "Wha-" my throat burns when I try to speak. How am I going to get their attention now?! I try again, this time in a whisper.
     "What?" I manage to croak out. Now all eyes were on me and I suddenly got nervous. Be calm, it's only your friends... Minus Victoria. OH MY GOD, VICTORIA!!
     "Where is my phone?!" I don't care that my throat burns, I need my phone! Louis hands me my phone, but says "We've already tried to call, text, and even just go onto Instagram. Absolutely no service."
      I start to cry, and the confusion immediately stops. My friends crowd around me and hug me.
"What happened, why are we here, and is Victoria ok?" I ask.
"If you don't remember, you pushed us through a door in the wall when a 10 second countdown started and a voice said 'the apocalypse has begun'"
Then, it all comes back to me. The man. The countdown. The screams.
Sensing that something was wrong, Louis took me over to the couch and wrapped his arms around me, while I sobbed into his shirt. It took me a while to calm down.
     "Autumn, I know this is probably the worst timing ever, but here goes nothing. We've known each other for a while, and I don't know about you, but I've had a crush on you since the day we met in sixth grade and I was wondering, will you be my girlfriend? That is, if you like me. I know this was probably horrible timing and you don't have to answer immediately, but please think about it and-" he says before I cut him off with a hug.
     "Of course I will be your girlfriend silly!" I reply happily.
As soon as I say that, he hugs me tight, lifts me up, and spins me around. I hug him hard, never wanting to let go. Then, I realized that everyone else had left the room, but was most likely still listening, wherever they were. "You can come out now guys, I know you were listening" I called to my friends. I grabbed Louis's hand and held it tight as my friends entered the room one by one, with huge sheepish grins on their faces.
   "Now you finally have a love life, and here I am still single and alone forever." May whispers into my ear.
     "I knew it would happen!!! You owe me 20 bucks!!" Russ says, elbowing Freddy. Everybody started laughing hysterically. I looked at Louis, and he looked back at me. We started to lean closer and closer to each other. And then we kissed.
