Rebound, But Newfound {29}
“Tommy!” Sally, Brady, and I cried.
His parents rushed over as I dropped next to him. Coach’s eyes widened and he also hurried over, along with Tommy’s brothers.
“All of you, back off. Give him some room,” Coach snapped. He turned to me. “Zeke, he’s probably overheated. Get him water and pour it on him!”
“Shouldn’t we get his shirt off?” Sammy asked, panic clear in his eyes.
Coach shook his head as I handed him a full water bottle. “No. His shirt will hold the water,” he explained as he poured it on Tommy.
Tommy whimpered and I took his hand in mine. “Tommy, you’re okay,” I assured gently. He weakly squeezed my hand and cracked his eyes open a little.
“Get him to drink some water,” Coach said, handing me a water bottle and moving to get ice.
I uncapped the water bottle and pulled Tommy into my arms, not even caring that I was getting wet from his shirt. I held the water bottle to his lips and gently tipped it into his mouth. Tommy drank thirstily and I pulled the water away so that he wouldn’t make himself sick.
Coach handed me a bag of ice and put it on Tommy’s neck. He leaned against me weakly, closing his eyes again and panting more.
“Thomas James! You are giving me gray hairs! When you feel sick, you get off that damn field!” Sally snapped, relief and annoyance on her face.
“Mom,” Tommy said, his voice weak, “Shut up.”
“I should’ve had a daughter,” Sally said miserably.
“I’m gay. That’s the closest you’re getting to a daughter from me,” Tommy mumbled.
“Tom, have you had anything to drink today?” Coach asked.
Tommy shook his head slowly. “Nope,” he said, his eyes still shut.
“Anything to eat?”
“Nope.”
“You’re an idiot,” Coach, Sally, Brady, Sammy, Mikey, and I said at the same time.
“I love all of you too.”
I slung Tommy’s arm around my shoulders and wrapped an arm around his waist before slowly getting to my feet with him. He slumped against my body and groaned lightly.
“Zeke?”
I looked up and sighed. “Hi mom. Hi dad. Uh…I can’t really talk right now.” I nodded at Tommy. “Hot boyfriend in my arms.”
I blushed, realizing what I had just said. Tommy laughed weakly and I pouted. “Shut up before I drop you,” I hissed in his ear. I turned to my confused parents and gave them an innocent smile. “I meant overheated. Not hot. Tommy’s not hot. Just overheated. Too much heat. Yep.” I snapped my mouth shut, resisting the urge to drop Tommy as he laughed again.
He started coughing and I shifted him slightly. He groaned again and let his head drop onto my shoulder. He began to pant again.
“I am five seconds away from puking,” he said miserably.
“Not in my arms you aren’t,” I said, glaring at him before remembering that Tommy had a terrible fear of throwing up. “I mean, uh, hang in there?”
“Well Tommy, that’s what happens when you go all out in 102 degrees of weather,” Coach said, raising an eyebrow.
“Shut up,” Tommy moaned and coughed again. I could see the panic starting to creep into his face. Aw man. He really was about to throw up.
He opened his eyes and slouched over in my arms. I gently sat him on the ground and rubbed his back as he choked, trying not to throw up.
Sally dropped next to me and brushed Tommy’s hair out of his face. “You’re okay Tommy,” she said soothingly as he choked harder.
He began to dry heave and spit on the ground, gulping and gasping. “I’m…okay…” he whimpered, slumping back into my arms. His face was pale and his body was trembling.
I helped him stand back up and kissed his cheek. He coughed again and trembled more. I frowned deeply. Tommy had a deep fear of throwing up. It scared him when he did.
“Come on Tommy; we’ll get you home and get you in the pool,” Brady said, giving Tommy a sympathetic look.
I nodded at my bag. “Guys, my keys are in there. I’m going to go home with Tommy,” I told my parents.
Dad grabbed my bag and dug around until he had my keys. He nodded and gave us a concerned look. “I hope you feel better Tommy.”
“Thanks,” Tommy mumbled.
“Alright. Let’s get him home and in the pool before he passes out again,” Brady said, only half joking.
I lifted Tommy into my arms and he weakly wrapped his arms around my neck. I carried him to his parents’ car and sat down with him in my lap. Brady rolled the windows down as they drove home, letting the wind whip against us.
We pulled into their driveway and Brady sighed. “Just jump in with your jerseys on. They’re already soaked,” he said and I nodded.
“I’ll go make Tommy some food. His blood sugar is probably low,” Sally said with a frown as I lifted Tommy back into my arms.
She glared at Tommy and pointed a stern finger at him. He watched her weakly. “You give me headaches, you drive me crazy, and you’re the reason I look old,” she said flatly. She came over and brushed his hair out of his face before kissing his forehead. “Be more careful!”
I laughed as Tommy pouted. I carried him to the pool and lowered us both in, him still in my arms. Tommy relaxed against me as the water splashed over his body.
I set him next to me carefully, letting him lean on me as I pulled our shirts off and threw them on the pool deck. I kissed Tommy gently.
“Feeling better?” I asked in concern.
He nodded slowly. “Yea. I really thought I was going to throw up back there.” He shuddered and shook his head, wrapping his arms around my neck.
I kissed him deeply and eagerly eye fucked him. Tommy sighed as he watched my eyes rake up and down his chest.
“Ezekiel-Xavier Achilles Baker the third, are you eye raping a poor, defenseless 15 year old boy?” Tommy asked, raising an eyebrow at me.
“Oh my god I hate you,” I groaned, shoving him off of me. “I don’t want your sexy body anymore!”
Tommy snickered and got a smug smirk. He came back over to me, pressing his body against mine and nibbling at my neck. “Do you really hate me?” he asked, his warm breath on my neck making me shiver. He licked my neck and, finding my soft spot, began to suck at it.
Yep, he was feeling better.
I moaned quietly, wrapping my arms around him as he sucked my neck harder. His hands ran up my chest gently as he pressed our lower halves together.
“Hey, hey, hey. Easy in the pool.”
I jumped away from Tommy as Brady came over to us. He raised an eyebrow at Tommy as Tommy swam over and wrapped an arm around my waist, shrugging innocently.
“Now Tommy, how can I pretend you’re still a virgin when you’re acting like that? You know your mother could easily see you out of the window. Stop making your mom feel old! Anyways, she made you food. Go eat,” he said, ruffling Tommy’s wet hair.
“But dad! I’m only 15. Do you honestly think I’d lose my virginity so young?” Tommy asked, sounding so shocked and innocent that I almost believed him.
Brady grinned, giving Tommy a knowing look. “Tomcat, go eat. And just pray that I don’t accidentally tell your mother. She’ll kill the both of you.”
Knowing that was true, I dragged Tommy out of the pool.
We went inside and Sally handed us towels. We sat down at the kitchen table and she gave us some toast and eggs.
We began to eat. Tommy grabbed my hand under the table and I smiled softly at him. I loved him so much. And he was so damn unlucky! Bad things always seemed to happen to poor Tommy.
“Stop staring at me while I eat. It’s creepy,” Tommy whined. “I understand that I’m the sexiest shit you’ll ever see, but I do like to eat without you eye raping me.”
“Thomas James Warren! Language! And attitude check!” Sally said sternly, glaring at him.
“He’s just messing around,” I said and laughed. I leaned over and kissed him deeply. He instantly kissed me back.
I pulled away and smiled at him. When Sally wasn’t looking, I bent forward and ran my tongue up Tommy’s chest, bringing my head up and kissing him deeply again. I winked at him, letting him know what we would be doing later. Tommy smirked and pointed at me.
“Bottom,” he mouthed.
“We’ll see,” I mouthed back, winking at him.
But the smirk stayed on his face and I couldn’t help but laugh. Tommy was so cocky. I loved that about him. Hell, I loved everything about him. Except his bad luck. That I didn’t like.
Tommy leaned over and kissed me. I smiled at him, loving him so deeply. Everything was finally starting to look up for us.
