Anastasia pov
Marcus looked at Caius and Aro.
" What does she mean?" Aro backed up.
"It's nothing." Sulpicia frowned.
"What did you do Aro?" He was getting very nervous now.
"Nothing." Aro said again though you could hear the lie in his voice. Marcus put me behind him and growled. I kept a tight grip on his shirt just in case.
"One last time Aro. What did you do to Didyme?" Aro hesitated then spoke.
"Fine. I killed her." Marcus was furious. I could tell.
"You killed your own sister?!"
"I had no choice. You two were leaving."
"Then let us leave. We would have stayed in touch."
"That wasn't the problem." Marcus glared sharply. Uh oh.
"You killed her to keep me in the Volturi didn't you?" Aro gulped. Yep. He was in trouble.
"Let's not do anything rash."
"Rash?! You killed my wife and your sister for a selfish purpose!!"
"Marcus." I said with a whisper. He looked at me then attempted to calm down slightly. Dora spoke.
"Marcus. Why don't you spend some time with Ana? We'll go somewhere else right now." Marcus nodded still beyond tense. Once Aro and Caius left with their wives I took Marcus' hands in my own. He kissed my forehead.
"I'm sorry my sunshine." I shook my head and put my face into his chest. He smiled and kissed my forehead. I tugged on his hand and took him up to my room.

Marcus smiled when he saw it.
"You still have the same tastes." I laughed and took my jacket off. Marcus came over and put his arms around my waist.
"I missed you Didyme." I smiled and spoke.
"I missed you also. Even before I got my memories back I knew something was missing." Marcus chuckled and brushed some hair from my face. Then we kissed. He pulled away and looked hesitant.
"I could hurt you." I shook my head.
"You won't. I know you won't." Marcus smiled softly and kissed me.
" I missed you so much. I wasn't myself without you. But I need to know. What happened?" I sighed and sat down.
" Aro and I were outside. We walked around before we stopped and talked. When he asked me if I would reconsider leaving I told him you and I needed some time to ourselves. He went silent then told me that he couldn't let that happen. He tore my head off and the last thing I saw was Caius helping him dispose of my body. My spirit stayed until you showed up. Then it disappeared." Marcus sat down next to me and I saw he was furious.
"How could they? They both knew how much you meant to me." I smiled sadly.
" For a long time Aro only cared about one thing. Power. It's why he turned me. And also why he killed me." Marcus sighed and kept quiet for a bit. I bent down and put a hand over his.
" My love. What happened after I died?" Marcus flinched.
" I changed. Drastically. I didn't show any emotions and I stopped caring about what Caius and Aro did. I didn't really participate in any business unless I had to. I also tried to kill myself but Aro and Caius stopped me." I looked upset and Marcus noticed.
" I'm sorry. I just couldn't live without you." I closed my eyes in sadness. Then I opened them.
" Oh Marcus. It's alright. I understand. I could never deal with loosing you." Marcus smiled softly and kissed my cheek.
" I'm going to kill them." I chuckled.
" I wouldn't expect any less."
" Are you certain you'll be fine with this? He is your brother after all." I smiled sadly.
" I can't say I won't be upset but they broke our most valued law. That mates are not to be separated for any reason." Marcus smiled then sighed.
" I would rather not do this. But we have to." I smiled and lay down. Marcus smiled and lay down next to me. I moved closer and put my head on his chest. He breathed in my scent and rubbed mindless patterns into my back. I smiled and closed my eyes. Next thing I knew I was sound asleep.

Marcus pov
I watched as Didyme slept peacefully. I sat up and let her head lay in my lap. I watched her for a bit before I heard Carlisle speak.
" She was scared when she got her memories." I looked at him.
" Ana gained her death memory first. And it scared her. It took a while to calm her down. But once she calmed down all she wanted was you. She knew she had to wait to bring you. Because she was worried that Aro and Caius would try something." I frowned and looked down. My face softened when I saw her.
"Take good care of her Marcus. Ana has become family to us." I nodded my head and waited for him to leave. Then I turned the lights off and went back over. I lay down and pulled Ana close to me. She stired but didn't wake. Instead she moved even closer to me and gripped my shirt tightly. I smiled then turned serious. I knew Aro and Caius needed to be dealt with but I also knew that Didyme would be hurt by this. As if sensing my distress Ana tightened her grip on my shirt. I sighed then smiled. I pulled her close and relaxed.

Anastasia pov
I woke up to find Marcus next to me. I smiled and curled into his chest. He chuckled and kissed my head.
" It's alright my sunshine. You're safe. I swear nothing will hurt you ever again." I smiled and spoke.
" I trust you Marcus. I always have." Just then the door opened and Dora and Sulpicia came in. Sulpicia sank next to me on the bed while Dora stood by the bed. I laughed and shook my head at my two sisters.
"You two are awful." Dora smirked. Sulpicia grinned then spoke.
"We wanted to spend some time with you. And besides Marcus needs to go deal with the two idiots. Because I think Carlisle....well all of them are about to murder Caius and Aro. You know Carlisle always did care about you dearly." I smiled.
"And I him. He's such a kind person." Marcus sighed and kissed me gently.
"I'll go handle this. You spend time with your two sisters." I nodded and kissed him.
"Just please be careful." Marcus smiled softly and nodded. This was definitely going to be interesting.
