Summary of Arc 2

Soon after before the Reaper. Axel stumbles across Northrade and learns about the warlord who governs these lands. After creating a scene to catch the Empire's attention. He sets his sights upon the warlord, to murder him, and to steal his power.

He encounters Alice along the way, the upbeat girl offers herself to his guide. And with no other choice, he reluctantly accepts. This fateful confrontation results in the most memorable moment for the two in just five days.

It ends rather quickly, however, as the two reach Southrade and go on their separate journeys.

Axel finds the whereabouts of Yokubo. And Alice gets orders to kill her newly formed friend, Axel by Yokubo himself to gain her and her sister's freedom.

Being left with no other choice, she chooses to go to Southrade and find Axel. Where the two fight to the death, clashing their goals and dreams.

After an intense battle, Axel remains victorious and Alice accepts her fate. But surprisingly, Axel spares her life

The two storm the castle, and after a fight that brought them to their limits. Axel is able to defeat Yokubo, and Alice manages to rescue her sister, but not before she passes away.

With nothing else in her life besides the one who stands before her. She swores to protect and guard the last treasure she has in this life.
