When i next awakened I could not see. I could feel an old wrinkly hand on my leg and teenagers hand in mine. I panicked and started to thrash. "LET GO OF ME YOU BASTARD! YOU THINK I'M JUST GONNA SIT HERE AND LET US TOUCH ME AFTER WHST YOU DID TO SHMOO!? KAI! KILL THEM!"

I feel the familiarsure of Kai next to my head before he replied. "Negative. No hostile presences in range. Suggestion: host should rest and show gratitude to the Bookman and his apprentice for treating you and giving you shelter."

"....Bookman? Not the earl?" "Affirmative. Emergency protocal was activated and user was teansported to the bookman. Record keepers created by the first Eve in order to compile the true history of the world from its beginning to its end."

"I apologize for startling you Lady Eve. I was dressing your wounds. I am a archivist here. Please just call me Bookman. The one holding your hand is Lavi Bookman, my apprentice."

"Nice ta meetcha!" *smack* "owwww! What gives old man?!" I can feel the elders irritation. "Address lady Eve with respect! My apologies my lady. I shall discipline him later." I feel pack wince as I cringe. Disciplinary action? Seriously? He's just trying to lighten the mood. I sigh. "Jeez, no need for any such thing! What did he do wrong huh?! He's just being Nice! And don't call me Eve, Lady, or Lady Eve! My name is Alyss. Call me by my name!"

"My apologies my l- Alyss." I huff."don't worry about it! Anyways can I crash with you guys for a while?" "Of course." "Great! I look forward to our time together then."

A/N: short and sweet is it not? you'll probably be seeing more short chapters rather than long ones. I just felt like I was keeping y'all waiting and felt bad. I mean, it's spring break and I'm not doing anything! But at the same time, I feel like sayori  from doki doki lit club 90% of the time and I've got homework due next week. So yeah, fuck me I guess? Anyway here's your short chapter for the time being. I know it's bad but maybe I'll revise and edit everything in the future when and if I become a better writer. Until then, deal with it. But on the bright side I'll be making little omake chapters in my stories about different scenarios. It could be about a time period mentioned but not described, or it could be a AU scenario. They'll be spontaneous and pop up at random.
