In Mount Sagiri, a small cabin can be seen in the middle of a quiet forest. Inside, is a demon sleeping deeply in her futon, slowly opening her eyes.

You open your eyes and see an unfamiliar ceiling. You get up from a lying position to a sitting position. 'Where am I, who's house is this' your thought looking at the room where you are in.

You stand up and slide the door from your room. 'This house... it looks familiar' looking around the interior of the small house 'yeah! I remember now this is Urokodaki's house' you then stretch out your body 'sleeping really helps me to feel better, I think I'm not just better something feels different. I don't even feel hungry at least a little. Right now I think I can fight effectively' you thought.

'But, where's brother and Urokodaki-san' you thought then you decided to go outside. You slide the door and walk outside 'great it's night time' "Hey! Nezuko! You... You're awake!" You turn your head to see where your brother's voice is coming

'This scene... Did I just sleep for 2 years straight' you thought running toward your brother. Tanjiro starts running toward you as well. "Nezuko! Ugh..." Tanjiro stumbles and falls flat on his face. 'Brother!' As Tanjiro gets up, you reach to him and pull him into a hug. Your brother begins to sob.

"Ahh... Why... Why'd you fall asleep all of a sudden? Never waking up once! I was worried you were going to die, you know?" 'Oh, brother I'm sorry I made you worry' hugging your brother tightly.

Urokodaki comes out of the house with a bunch of firewood. Upon seeing Tanjiro, he drops the firewood, walks toward and hugs the both of you."You came back to us alive."

Inside Urokodaki's house. You are once again inside the room where you woke up a while ago. Laying on your futon and staring at the ceiling 'I just notice that being a demon is really boring. All I just did is lay down, sleep, and stare at the ceiling. How could those man-eating demons leave a life like this, well aside from eating human flesh' you sighed in your head.

You tilted your head toward the door of your room when you heard Urokodaki and your brother talking 'I think they are going to talk about that morph demon hand in the final selection, since I'm not going to do anything anyway might as well sleep for a few more days' you thought closing your eyes once again.

15 days later...

"CAW! Make your way to a town in the northwest! Young girls have been vanishing there" inside the room you were awakened by a loud noise 'what is that, so noisy!' You crawl toward the door and slide it a little to peek outside at what is happening. You see a talking crow giving your brother his first assignment.

"Night after night, young girls have been vanishing! Hunt down the demon lurking there and kill it! Tanjiro Kamado, prepare yourself well for this task! This is your first assignment as a Demon Hunter!" The crow finished his talking. "My first... assignment..." you heard your brother mumble.

'So the story will finally progress, well it's not that the story is not progressing. It's just that I've been sleeping for 2 years that I feel being left out from the story for a second' you said thinking for yourself.

"Have you gotten changed?"Urokodaki asks "Yes." "All right". You look at your brother from inside the room peeking under your blanket, your eyes widen 'Woah brother, you look so cool'

A minute later Urokodaki starts explaining to Tanjiro about the durability of his uniform. "Right. One more thing. Take this." Urokodaki places a wooden box in front of Tanjiro. "It's a box for you to carry your sister in during the day built out of an extremely light wood called "Cloud Mist Pine". I coated it with rock lacquer to reinforce its exterior and to make it even more durable."

'Ahh, it's the iconic box, the box where I'll be spending most of my time for the duration of the whole story' "Thank you very much!" Tanjiro picks up the box. It's so light! It's really light, Mr. Urokodaki!"

Your brother approach and places the box in front of you, who is hiding under the blanket. He then opens the door of the box. "Nezuko. Get inside this, will you?" He said "Mmm..." you first shrink your body and get inside the box, your brother then looks at you from the outside. "Nezuko, from now on, we're always gonna be together, okay?" He said "Mmmm" you gave him a nod Tanjiro closes the box.

Outside, he carries the box on his back. And Urokodaki sends him off. "All right, I'll be going now." Urokodaki steps forward toward Tanjirou. "Hold on. Do you mind?" Urokodaki fastens the top button of Tanjirou's uniform. He adjusts the straps of the box and finally places his hands on Tanjiro's shoulders. "All right." Urokodaki and Tanjiro nod to each other, and Tanjiro heads off.

Inside the box where you are sitting and your little knees in front of you 'it's so dark but I guess I will get used to this, if my brother is on his first mission then his first assignment is to kill the swamp demon. I need to pay attention to what's happening outside, if I need to step out early I'll do it'

On a dirt path. Tanjiro walks along "Nezuko, are you all right?" You suddenly heard him call out for you "Nezuko?" You knock on the wall of your box to know that you can hear him. Tanjiro gives off a smile.

Tanjiro arrives in a town along a river. "Could this be the town to the northwest?" 'he arrived?' You ask passionately listening to what happening outside. You heard some people talking when you feel that your brother is suddenly running. "Mr. Kazumi! If you don't mind, I'd like to hear your story. Is that all right?" 'Oh the guy who lost his fiance'

You intently listen to your brother's conversation with this man named Kazumi. "This is where Satoko vanished. You may not believe me." "I do believe you! I believe you, all right! I believe you!" Tanjiro gets down and begins to smell the ground.

'Woah what was that!' you thought holding on to the wall of the box because you suddenly slide upside down. 'Is this what Nezuko feels inside the box. No one told me that I need a seat belt or some kind of handle, I'm definitely going to be dizzy, but maybe  I'll be ok, in the anime she looks just fine even with a lot of movement from Tanjiro made'

Tanjiro continues searching into the night. "You're gonna keep going?" Kazumi ask Tanjiro "Yes." "Look how late it's gotten. I'm flattered that you're so concerned for me, but shouldn't you pick up again tomorrow and get some rest"

'Is it already night time, can I go out now?' you ask yourself and decided to knock on the wood 'Nezuko? did she want to go out?' "Nezuko, maybe later ok?" You heard your brother say in a low voice but it is enough for you to hear from the crack of your box. "Mmmm," you said

Tanjiro runs off. "What's gotten into you all of a sudden?" Kazumi asks at the sudden movement of Tanjiro "The scent just got stronger! The demon  is nearby!" Tanjiro jump into the air and lands in an empty alley. He looks around for the demon.

'This is it. They're here right now!' Tanjiro draws his sword. 'Two different scents. A demon and a female human. They're nowhere to be seen. But... the spot where the scent is strongest... is right here!' Tanjiro stabs his sword into the ground

"Ngh!" The demon reacted the woman floats up to the surface of the dark shadow on the ground. "Ah!" Tanjiro reaches into the dark shadow and pulls the woman out of it. The Swamp Demon rips a bit of her sleeve off and emerges with half his body coming out of the ground.

"Where are those girls you kidnapped?" Tanjiro ask. The Swamp Demon grits his teeth. "I've got two more questions for you!" The Swamp Demon continues to grit his teeth and leaves underground again before Tanjiro can continue.

"Who was that?" Kazumi asks Tanjiro "Mr. Kazumi, please hold this person and stand nearby. I can protect you if you're inside my range of attack!" 'What is happening right now!' You thought because of the frequent movement of the box and the noise and voice you are hearing from the outside.

The fight between Tanjiro and the swamp demon continues. It shock Tanjiro when he saw two more other demons and the three of them sharing the same scent. You on the other hand are getting impatient, first because the box is moving all over the place and you've been bumping your head into the wood wall of the box, you might be a demon but you still feel that it hurts, and second, you vaguely know what is happening right now and you don't know if your brother is doing alright.

'I'm sorry brother but I'm going out' you thought to yourself. The Swamp Demon attacks again, but Tanjiro dodges all of it. Another of the Swamp Demon copies attacks from behind as Tanjirou regains his footing.

"Ngh!" The demon reacted. Nezuko's foot comes flying out of the box on Tanjiro's back, sending the Swamp Demon flying. 'Did I just kick something' you thought' Another copy of the Swamp Demon appears from the ground. "Why would a mere human be accompanying a demon?"

You then step out of your box. You glance at the demon on the floor 'oh so I kick the demon, but these bastards just tried to hurt my brother' you thought looking at the demon with your veins coming out from your face clearly because of your anger. You calm yourself and look to your right where you see the man named Kazumi holding a girl now in your calm and cute face.

You walk over to them and your eyes widen when you suddenly see the faces of your siblings in the 'what...did I just see my siblings in them' you place your hands on their faces still seeing your younger sister and brother.

'I see, the hypnotic suggestion Mr. Urokodaki uses on me while I'm sleeping but even though it's just an illusion made by my mind, it's nice seeing their faces again' looking at Kazumi and the girl giving them your longing eyes.

"Nezuko" Tanjiro said then remembered his conversation with Urokodaki. You then look back to one of the demon copies, slowly walking and you suddenly heard a voice.

"All humans are your family. Protect humans. The demons are the enemy!" you started to run and from your calm look the veins on your face appears and the round pupil of yours became a slit staring angrily at the copy demon.

'You don't need to tell me that Mr. Urokodaki. I will never forgive anyone who will bring harm to innocent people and my brother' you jump forward in an attack on the Swamp Demon copies with a kick. "Ngh!" You utter.

"Nezuko!" Tanjiro yelled looking at you and attacking the demon.

"Never forgive any demon who brings harm to humans!" The last words of Urokodaki's voice you heard in your mind.
