"I see, did you perhaps~" "Shhhh" putting tour finger in your lips signaling your brother Takeo to be quiet. You two hear footsteps coming outside your home. The footsteps get louder and louder when...

A man in formal attire burst through your door. The noise wakes your whole family. "What happened" you heard your mother shout. Then a sudden tentacle with blade-like teeth came from the man.

It instantly slashes your mother and Hanako. Their blood splatter all over the house "MOM, HANAKO!" You and Takeo shouting in despair, both of you looking at your mother and Hanako's lifeless body, Shigeru who is left in shock with tears in his eyes.

'Their dead... they're dead... Mom... Hanako' you thought tears started to fall from your eyes

You notice the man sending another whip towards you and the other you immediately take Rokuta and Takeo shielding Shigeru "Big sis! RUN!" he yelled at you "TAKEO, SHIGERU!! " you shout, breathing heavenly, heart beats fast, it's like you can't hear anything watching your whole family die.

Your eyes shaking, thinking that everything is a dream 'I already know... I already know that they going to die but...but...please make this a dream' the man once again send his whip towards you and Rokuta, you crouch holding Rokuta to protect him but you only take almost all of the attack, it still go through him.

Lying on the cold snowy floor hugging Rokuta with your breath starting to fade. 'Mom, Takeo, Shigeru, Hanako, and Rokuta' call their names in your minds while tears are flowing in your eyes.

"Pathetic, they died with just this much blood, I won't be able to make a demon who can conquer the sun" the man said in a very disappointed tone before leaving your small house and walking in the other direction.

You heard him say those words that made you very angry "Kibutsuji Muzan, I will never forgive you!" you muttered before losing consciousness.

The next morning. Tanjiro is leaving Saburo's to go up in the mountain. "You be careful now." Saburo said "Okay!" Tanjiro said waving his hand to Saburo. He then continues to walk up in the mountain.........'Whenever happiness is destroyed, there's always...' Tanjiro stops and he sniffs the air for a second.

"The smell of blood!" He said. Tanjirou races up the mountain and arrives at his house. He stops in his tracks. On the ground in front of the door are you and Rokuta, surrounded by a pool of blood.

"Ahhh!!!... Nezuko!" Tanjiro runs to you and Rokuta and kneels beside you."What happened? What's going on?! What happened here?!" He said in total panic 'big brother?' You thought hearing his voice slowly gaining consciousness.

Tanjiro turns to look into the house. He gets up and walks only a few steps inside. "Mom..." Tanjiro falls to the ground as he sees the horrifying scene of your mother and all of your siblings are dead, and the walls and floor of the house are covered with blood.

"Mom... Hanako... Takeo... Shigeru... Nezuko... Rokuta...!" He said..

Tanjiro runs down the mountain, carrying you on his back 'Nezuko's the only one who's still warm! If I can get her to a doctor, she might survive! How did this happen? Was it a bear? Was it a bear that wasn't able to hibernate? I can't breathe! The air's so icy! My lungs hurt!'

Tanjiro struggling to breathe and to run straight 'Keep moving forward! Move your legs faster! We still have a long way to go before we reach the town. Hurry! I won't let you die' he thought, and you slowly gained consciousness.

"I'm gonna save you no matter what! I swear your big brother will save you no matter what!" Your brother said making you open your eyes 'big brother' you thought still laying your head in his shoulder 'wait a minute did I become a demon already' you thought pulling yourself from him.

The two of you fall to the cliff and you land on your feet. You immediately check yourself if you did become a demon, you look at your hand and see sharp nails and you next check your teeth and you feel the sharp fangs on it 'I did become a demon' you thought looking down.

"Nezuko, are you alright? You don't have to walk! I'll carry you to town, okay?" Your brother approaches and asks you in a worried and desperate tone. You raise your head and look at him. Shock can be seen on his face. Looking at your different appearance.

'Sh-She's... a demon! I just remembered what Old Man Saburou told me. Nezuko's a man-eating demon? But she's not attacking me. No! Nezuko's been a human ever since she was born!' Shaking his head 'However, she no longer has Nezuko's scent. But it wasn't Nezuko's doing!

'She was lying as if she was protecting Rokuta, and there was no blood on her mouth or hands. And there was one more... There was one more scent' Tanjiro thought looking at you just standing in front of him.

'While I was sleeping carelessly at Saburou's house, they were murdered brutally like that!' "I know it must've hurt! You suffered, didn't you? I'm so sorry I couldn't save you." your brother said apologizing to you, tears started to fall from his eyes. 'If only I could help Nezuko at least...' he thought

"Big Brother" you said while crying, this makes your brother look at you in shock. In the distance, someone is running toward you and your brother. "It's alright Nezuko! everything will be fine, I'm here now, I promise I'll protect you." he said, you then run towards him to hug him but before you even do it.

The mysterious someone reaches Tanjiro and you. He jumps into the air to attack you, but Tanjirou pushes you out of the way, causing Giyuu to cut off some of Tanjiro's hair. Your brother and you are blown back into a tree.

You being held by Tanjiro look at the man who just try to kill you 'it's Giyuu' you thought. "Why are you protecting it?" He asks 'I'm his sister' answering him in your head and now glaring at him "She's my sister! She's my younger sister!" Your brother said.

"You call that thing your sister?" He said 'What! Did he just call me that' Giyuu launches himself at Tanjirou and you, ready to strike. Tanjirou moves to protect you but realizes that you was no longer under him. When he looks up, Giyuu is holding you in the distance by the scruff of your clothes.

You were shocked at how fast he is 'when did he...and damn his grip is tight' you struggling to try to break to his grasp.  A sudden realization comes into your mind.

'A while ago I just talk to my brother, despite being a demon I don't even feel the urge to eat human flesh and I'm aware of myself... I don't understand why...but either way, it's  a good thing that I can think clearly'

"Nezuko!" Your brother calls out to you."Don't move. My job is to slay demons. Needless to say, I'm going to decapitate your sister. "Hold on! Nezuko hasn't killed anyone!" 'Yes hold on! I'm a good demon' you thought

"Back at my house, there was another scent that I'd never smelled before! That's probably the one who killed my family! It wasn't Nezuko! I don't know why she turned into something like that, but... but still...!" Your brother adds

"It's quite simple. Because her wounds were exposed to demon blood, she turned into a demon. That's how man-eating demons multiply." Giyuu said

"Nezuko would never eat humans!" Tanjiro said "You gotta be kidding. Just now, you were about to be attacked." Giyuu said 'I'm about to hug him, Mr. Emo guy' you looking at Giyuu

"You're wrong! I'm sure she knows who I am! I won't let her hurt anyone! I'm going to turn Nezuko back into a human! I swear I'll heal her!" Your brother said desperately

"She can't be healed. Once you become a demon, you can never go back to being human." 'I can't with this guy. He so negative.' Still looking at Giyuu in deadpan "I'll find a way, no matter what! So, please... don't kill her! Your brother begging Giyuu "I'll hunt down the one who slaughtered my family!"

Tanjirou gets on his knees and bows with his head to the ground. "I'm begging you not to...Please... don't kill my younger sister. Please don't do it. I'm begging you..." "Brother..." You mumble.

Giyuu starts to yell and tell Tanjiro the harsh truth of what happening 'Don't cry. Don't despair. Now's not the time for that. I know you're devastated. 'Your family was massacred, and your sister's become a demon.'

'I know it's painful. I know you want to scream. I get it. If only I'd gotten here a half-day sooner, your family might not have ended up dead. But there's no way to turn back time.

'Feel the rage. The powerful, pure rage of not being able to forgive will become your answering drive to take action! With such a fragile resolve like yours, you can't protect your sister or heal her, or get revenge for your family!'

Giyuu glares at Tanjiro and readies his sword again to kill you. "No!" Tanjiro shouts "Arghhh! Ahhh!!" 'That's hurts! I forgot that Giyuu did stabs Nezuko in the chest' "Stop!" You heard your brother yell at Giyuu.

Tanjirou throws a rock at Giyuu, who bounces it off with his sword. Tanjirou then gets up, grabs his hatchet, and runs through the trees, continuing to throw rocks at Giyuu. When he gets close enough, Tanjirou runs toward Giyuu to attack.

"Arghhhh!!" Tanjiro yelled.'A straightforward attack driven solely by emotion...' "You fool!"Giyuu hits Tanjirou with the butt of his sword, knocking Tanjirou out cold. You then stop struggling and stares at Tanjiro's body on the ground.

'Hmm? Where's his hatchet?' He thought. Tanjirou's hatchet comes flying through the air from above, striking the tree behind Giyuu's head.

'Is he alright, that's a hard hit' you thought looking at your brother worriedly. You notice that Giyuu is distracted at what your brother did so you use this opportunity to break from his grip "Uaaaar!!" You break free from Giyuu's grasp and kick him away. You then run toward Tanjiro.

'Damn! She'll devour him!' he thought but in a moment his eyes widen in what sees. You kneel in front of Tanjiro's unconscious body to shield him.

"Graahh!" You lunge toward Giyuu and begin attacking him. He dodges your attacks. You jump to a tree and lunge at Giyuu again. He sheathes his sword. "Grrrrrr!!"

'I wonder... These siblings might be... different from others.' Giyuu strikes you at the side of her neck, knocking you out cold.
