3rd Person POV

"What. Is. This stuff?" Lukas cautiously asked as he approached the glitches in the ground, about to touch them until Addie yelled,

"Don't touch it!" And Lukas' hand recoiled in shock.

"I don't know what this stuff is, but it doesn't do a lot of good, I can tell you that." Addie turned around and showed how her Elytra wings were glitching out of existence, starting at the tips and working their way up to her back, slowly but gradually.

"That's why you weren't able to control your landing." Lukas realized and Jesse started to think.

"When did this stuff appear?"

"I have no clue, I only saw it yesterday night when I came out here for a midnight flight and I saw these things from above. I came down to investigate and made the huge mistake of touching it and this happened."

"This looks like when I found out that I was a glitch." Jesse said as she remembered what Romeo had told her back in his Icy Palace of Despair.

Flashback

Jesse's POV

"Hey, we did exactly what you told us, we got your stupid clock." I reminded the Admin as we finished his dangerous challenge and were about to look for Vos when said person revealed himself to be the Admin.

"Uh uh uh you were more concerned about saving those loser friends of yours, that practically negates all of the other stuff. I gave you so many chances." The Admin lectured us before making me, Petra, J, and Jack float above the ground.

"Technically, Petra and J here were the winners oh don't get me wrong there are quite a few flaws we'll have to work through and we'll have to see who dominates who, but we'll get there, in time." The Admin lifted his hand and Petra and my brother disappeared before our eyes.

"Petra! J! Where did they go?!" I demanded.

"Oh don't even worry about it. It's not for a loser like you to know where the cool people go."

"Petra, J, oh no!" Jack cried out in worry before the Admin shushed him and I pulled out my sword to challenge him.

"Oh cute." He waved his hand and suddenly my sword vanished from my hand, but the most surprising thing was that my hand started to glitch uncontrollably before it stopped, but left a stinging pain.

"What was that?!" Jack exclaimed as the Admin floated closer to me with a threatening look.

"So you're the creation of Herobrine." He sneered.

"Creation. I don't under-" I started before the Admin started to chuckle,

"Oh ho ho this is rich, Notch never told you you weren't real, did he?"

"What...?"

"Your 'uncle' Herobrine, created your source code from a piece of your brother's so you would be his successor, but then it was taken by Notch after he created a being from it."

"Me..." I whispered before I felt a force tighten around my neck as the Admin brought me closer to him to where my face was inches from his.

"Then it will make it twice as satisfying for me to send to you to a place where you'll never see the light of day, ever again." The Admin pushed me away and teleported me away as I heard Jack call out my name.

End of Flashback

Back to 3rd Person POV

"So, you mean to tell me you're a glitch created from your brother's code, but it's only because Herobrine needed a successor to carry out his evil doings?" Addie questioned with her head cocked to one side.

"That's why he was so bent on making me just like him, but it never happened because I was taken from him as a baby and brought to my parents to be J's twin sister since I was technically apart of him." Jesse explained.

"This is a lot to process..." Addie put her hands to the sides of her head and shook it a bit.

"I don't blame you, it was a lot for us too, but we got past that because.. Jesse is the best friend anyone could ever ask for." Lukas said as he took her hand and they both blushed crazily.

"Feeling like a third wheel here so... I'm just gonna-" Addie started to walk away before realizing that some creepers were coming their way and the glitches were mutating them into charged creepers, but with a red glow instead of blue.

"Guys! Double charged creepers!" Addie pulled out her enchanted bow and started shooting them down from the ground.

"They're heading back to town!" Lukas pointed over to the creepers that were scurrying towards Beacontown.

"Sis! We have a situation over here!" J spoke to Jesse telepathically and their split-second conversation began.

"We're a little busy over here Bro can't it wait a little bit."

"It's the kids, they're being taken."

"Alright, we're on our way."

"Jesse! We can't keep fighting these things, the glitches are multiplying them." Lukas called out as they saw that the glitches in the ground created copies of the double charged creepers when they were stepped on.

"We have to get back to Beacontown, now!" Jesse yelled and Addie nodded her head as she skewered several more creepers in front of her before grabbing Jesse and Lukas' hands and saying,

"You know the drill." They were pulled into the cold, and pain-inducing, shadows of the trees and spit back out in the training area where they saw something they didn't expect to see.

Reuben, Benedict, and Lluna were passed out on the ground with red shocks of electricity coming out of them every few seconds and small, iron, robotic spiders were crawling everywhere, attacking Petra and J, trying to get to them.

"What is going on?!" Lukas asked as he shot the mechanical spiders in their heads and they exploded in clouds of smoke and popping electricity.

"We don't know, we were just training and then they fainted after this really high pitched, annoying sound came from the trees and then these things decided to show up to try and take them." Petra replied while slashing Ms. Butter through the spiders' stomachs.

"Addie, defend the kids and we'll take care of the last of these things." Jesse told her as she went over to the kids and created a, slightly cracking, dark purple shield around the four of them and when the spiders tried to attack it, Jesse, Petra, J, and Lukas finished off the last of them.

"Whew... that was too close for comfort." J said as he nudged a dead spider's leg to make sure it was dead.

Abruptly, it twitched around, Petra punched J's shoulder for activating it, and shone a hologram of a familiar person saying,

"Next time, you and your friends won't be so lucky, Jesse." And the spider exploded, sending shrapnel in all directions, but Addie managed to shield the others from it as it sent a few shards in their direction.

When they came out, Jesse was just looking agape before whispering,

"I can't believe it, it's...."
