Carla began to walk again and headed to Annalisa's room. She was supposed to be in the garden with Alicia but left with an excuse to go to the bathroom.

While playing with Alicia, Carla didn't forget to check on Annalisa and stayed near her. Annalisa didn't act suspicious.

However, her thoughts wander and Carla wondered what she was thinking.

Not a moment later, they heard a beep and Annalisa took out her phone, seeing a message on it, she smirked. " Take care of the kids, I'll make some cookies, " She said before leaving.

Carla was curious about what it is hence she also left the garden. Though with her little feet, she couldn't catch up.

Fortunately, she saw where Annalisa turned to and presumed it was in her room, hence she was heading there.

As soon as Carla reached Annalisa's door, she put her ears on the door. She could hear Annalisa's voice a little.

After confirming Annalisa was inside, Carla went straight to the bathroom nearby to use another secret door connected to the secret passageway.

She went straight to where Annalisa's room and saw her in the mirror. Not only that, she heard her loud and clear.

" Mistress, I picked the second-best option as the first ones were tricky. " Annalisa stated.

' Tricky? Second best? ' Carla frowned.

" Yes, they'll be here soon. I'll be sure this would work. " Annalisa affirmed.

Soon after, someone knocked on her room. Carla looked forward to seeing who they are and curious as it is.

Annalisa opened the door and two maids came in.

' Who? '

" I'm glad you two came, Lalita and Theodora. " Annalisa greeted the two maids with warmth.

The two maids smiled, " What can we help you, Ms. Annalisa? " Lalita asked.

Theodora agreed, " We will help whatever we can, Ms. Annalisa, this is also what the Madam instructed us. "

Annalisa chuckles, " Yeah, why don't we sit down? "

Seeing two maids in Annalisa's room, Carla pondered what they're here for. Soon after, her questions in mind were answered.
