Kneading her left arm, Leila drank the water Aqua gave to her from the waterfalls. While sitting down, she could feel every nerve in her body trying to regenerate.

Letting the water flow in her body as she felt the pain of being regenerated, "Ahh~" Leila moaned and felt weakened. Her organs were damaged and some of them burst, however, the water from the waterfalls slowly regenerate them.

But the pain is real... It was like her inside was cut off but was actually the opposite! Without anaesthesia, she has no choice but to endure the pain.

"It's been so long since I felt this way..." Leila mumbled. With her occupation when she was young, this pain is normal for her. However, it's been a long time that her body doesn't know how to react anymore. Hence, even with Gwen and Jade's healing abilities, it wasn't enough to completely heal her.

It was only enough to subside the pain and the agony.

Fortunately, the water from the waterfalls is too strong that even if she lost all her organs, it could revive her. Leila smirked as she felt amazed by this ability. "Oh, Carla, without you, I would have been dead."

As Leila admiring the water in her hand at the field, Carla who was now holding Lulu in her hand staring at her mother with a poker face, "Without me, you wouldn't have to drink it. Without me, you wouldn't have to remember your past--"

"And without you, I would have been dead later on no matter what. Poison is just them having mercy, there's no saying what they could do next." Leila refuted which made Carla speechless.

"My dear daughter, it wasn't your fault I am being hunted. As long as I have what they want, I can never run away from them especially when I lost my memories..." Leila caressed her daughter's hair as Carla pouted.

What her mother said was true, even if Carla wasn't born, Leila would still be hunted down. Annalisa would still try to kill her. And Claude would still cheat even if it's not Annalisa.

It was the adult's choices. Leila chose to run and hid but fate made her lost her memories, she would have been dead not knowing who she is if it wasn't for Carla's interference.

Annalisa would still kill her as Annalisa chose to obey and be loyal to the clan. Even if Annalisa has to kill herself, she might.

And Claude, if he saw another beauty, he might still fell for that beauty. If he gets seduced, Claude would still cheat. If Claude could not handle his junior between his legs with her wife's best friend, how could he even handle it with anyone else, even a stranger? Would he also touch his relatives... including his daughter? It was his choice.

Fate just gave them a path to choose. It was their decision in the end.

"That is why, my dear daughter, you do not have to blame yourself. It is my choice. And I'm glad I have you, my daughter and the chosen one, at my side." Leila kissed her on the forehead and so did she to Kai beside them.

Carla nodded her head, "Yes, mom..." As the mother and daughter chatted, Lulu was relaxing in her master's hands being caressed by her.

It took half an hour before he recovered her energy and her wings back. As for Leila, she recovered soon after when Aqua came back.

When Lulu woke up from her distress, she saw her master's worried eyes looking only at her waiting for her. She felt like her tiny heart grew bigger. Lulu runs into her master's embrace as soon as she saw them and now she was being caressed.

Which made the other butterflies pouted from jealousy, they run towards their master and sat on her body as they snuggle their head to her.

Leila and Kai gave them space as they chuckle.

On the other hand, Meldy who was smiling at them interrupted them, "So, Lulu, what happened to you?"

Everyone was curious about that but Carla was focused on Lulu's health hence they haven't asked yet... Except for Meldy. She waited for the moment where everyone was enjoying the relaxing before she finally opened her mouth to ruin the mood.

'Kekekeke' Meldy laughed in her mind. Though Lulu just got recovered, her thoughts weren't heard by them.

Carla and everyone nearby turned their head to Lulu with a question in their mind. Waiting for her response. "You don't have to answer now, we can wait..." Even though Carla said that she was too curious why.

Lulu shook her head, "No, I must tell now before more butterflies will get affected." Carla widens her eyes from shock as she found it too serious.

Lulu continued, "Annalisa received an urgent message earlier. I didn't know at first as the letters on her phone were something I could not understand. I took a picture but before I could send it, she hastily runs to the gate. I have no choice but to pursue her... Which was a mistake."

"Why? Did she receive it? That thing?" Leila made a correct guess. Lulu nodded, "A mail was sent to her. The moment she received the box, I felt my energy was being taken. She hasn't even opened it yet I already felt in danger."

"I tried to run but it took a while as I could not move. If Annalisa didn't leave with the box, I would have been perishing... However," Lulu bit her lips.

"However?" Carla gulped.

Lulu glanced at her master with a frightening look, "My energy stopped getting consume... But my wings started to go crazy... From that moment, I know I had to go back... But I could not! I tried teleporting back to space but I could not! I tried to ask for help but I could not!"

Carla felt Lulu's shivering in her hand and she could not do anything except embracing her.

"Master! That thing is too dangerous! I felt like I could vanish without even seeing you if I stayed back there! If I... If I didn't make it in time..." Lulu wiped her tears as she flops on her master's embrace.

The butterflies twitched hearing Lulu's description. Even Meldy. They do not want to perish without seeing their master for the last time...

"It's finally here... The forbidden weapon... Aruka..." Leila gritted her teeth.
