"Knuckles!"

Lulu, the purple butterfly with glowing veins in her wings, flew rapidly around the mansion while tears fell from her eyes. "No, no!"

As she flies, her small hairs on her tiny body grew straight and were shaking continuously afraid of something she shouldn't see.

She needed to get away! She needs to go back to her master and be eaten by Lucy! She needs to heal!

Suddenly, a crack from her wings was heard. Her glittering veins was lost their light! She needs to act fast! "Faster! Master! Help!"

Carla was brushing her mother's hair as they discussed what happened to her mother and her plan when she abruptly heard her butterfly's cries in her mind.

"So that's why Carla, wouldn't it be better if I look like this than--- " Leila noticed that her daughter stopped her movement as she could not feel the brush touching her head anymore, she turned around to see why, "Carla?"

She's trembling. The hands holding the brush in the air was shaking while looking at the door! Something... Something's coming!

Leila frowned and so did Kai looking at her and both of them were stunned to see how Carla rushed to the door even when she got tripped and fell, she still crawled to open it.

The maids standing  by outside her door was startled to see the little Miss opened the door with an anxious look on the floor, "Go!" She warned them.

They were all surprised and not all could act in an instant until one of them saw Leila sitting on the chair staring at them with an unfathomable gaze, they bowed before they left.

Leila wanted to carry her daughter and caressed her hair seeing how fearful her daughter look, however, she stopped that urge as her desperate look waiting in the hallway waiting for something or someone...

Not a moment later, a purple butterfly, who already lost almost half of her wings, flying towards them with desperation.

Carla didn't know why she felt uneasy, however, after seeing her butterfly looking like this, her mind went blank and all she did was run towards Lulu and embrace her gently in her tiny arms. "Lulu! What do I do?!"

In the empty hallway, Carla's frantic voice was heard and Lucy came out from her body to forthwith eat Lulu back to space. "Master, walls have ears, let's go back in the room..."

With Lucy's reminder, Carla nodded and went back to the room as her legs wiggles around. Leila saw what happened and went to carry her delicate daughter back to the room.

Kai who watched the drama of his sister frowned and curious.

As soon as they got it, Leila locked the door, "My dear, let's go to your space and check what happened to her. Maybe we could do something."

Carla nodded repeatedly and Lucy ate the three.

At the space, Carla runs towards the Big Tree where Lulu struggles in pain, screaming, as the roots suppressed her from going wild. "Ahhh!!"

As soon as Carla arrived in front of Lulu, she felt helpless as she could only watch her screams. Carla felt distressed in her chest watching her but could not do anything. "W-what happened to her?"

Gwen shook her head as she followed her master, "We lost contact with her earlier until she was back in the space. Only she could tell what happened..."

Carla whimpered, "Will she be okay?"

"Yes, master. She got in time coming back... If not..." Gwen stated as she lays on her master's shoulder.

Not a moment later, the other butterflies resting in the space came out and stays beside their master or sats on her head like Riri to comfort her.

"What would happen if Lulu didn't make it?" Leila who followed them behind with Kai asked.

Yuxi, who has just arrived and sat on their Master's left shoulder, turned her attention to Leila, "She will perish and could not awaken anymore... She'll be lost forever in the Trix spirit kingdom and could not come back in the land of humans nor in Enchantrix."

Perish?

Lost?

Carla suddenly felt excruciating pain hearing those words and could only burst into tears. She didn't know why but deep inside her was frightened. Even though Lulu was saved, there's part of her that felt it was real. While closing her eyes, there were flashes of images about a butterfly slowly vanishing into thin air. That flash only lasts for three seconds but felt so real.

Carla opened her eyes out of shock. It has the same colour as Lulu but the veins are different... Is this a premonition?

Seeing her daughter hurt, Leila caressed her daughter's back. Kai touched her hand and this time, he meant it. His hand trembles but Carla didn't notice it. He, too, felt a sting in his heart and didn't know why.

As they watched Lulu shrieked in pain while recovering and her wings slowly regenerate, Leila felt pain in her stomach that she hid finally bursts inside that made her lost consciousness as she fell behind Carla. After a few seconds, her mind wakens up and she stares above the sky with a blurry vision.

Carla turned around when she heard a loud bang behind her. Seeing her mother, Gwen and Jade instantly used their healing abilities. "Mom..." Carla frowned as she didn't understand.

Leila smiled sweetly and reassured her, "I drink her poison... Did I forgot to tell you that?" As soon as she said those, her skin turned pale.

Before Carla could complain, Jade interrupted them, "Miss Leila asked me to heal her but my ability isn't strong enough so it took longer... But because of my interference, the process of the poison went faster... I'm sorry master for my incompetence!"

"I'll go get water," Aqua suggested and went straight to the direction where the waterfalls are.

Meanwhile, Carla was stupefied and could not think properly... She could only watch them work. Watch her precious butterfly in agony. Watch her mother laid down suffering. Watch the butterflies going around to help her mother.

Only Kai was watching Carla with a worried look. He hugged her arm and Carla turned around and completely embraced him back.

Not a moment later, the children who reside in space went to look at what the outcries about and was stunned by what they've watched.

Li Men and Shantel held their hands together as they clutched on the back of the clothes of their big brother Li Shun and Par-chan caressed their heads.

They could not do anything except watch them in confusion and observe their sorrows. They felt useless.

What good they are if they can't even help their new family?

Pardon tugged Shannaille's clothes and gave her a sign, Li Shun noticed it and invited the rest of the kids.

While Carla and her family were in misery, at the mansion, Annalisa hid the mail she received in her room. Soon after, a knock on her door was heard. "Come in,"

The door was opened and Annalisa saw Claude with a smile, "I heard that Leila was awake. Is she fine?"

Annalisa blinked for a moment. Although she is the mistress, does this man has to find his wife at her? Is there a sign that says she is an information booth?

Annalisa smirked trying to hide the irritation from her eyes, "Yes, she's well... But... She looks..."

"Hmm?" Claude tilted his head.

"It's best if you see her... She might need you..." Annalisa gave off a maiden aura with a worried look and a bitter smile.

"Ah, I tried but could not find them. I'll see them at dinner anyway." Claude scratched the back of his hair showing an awkward smile.

Then what did he came here for? Annalisa frowned. She wasn't in the mood for another round with him as her mind was preoccupied with some work she was tasked to.

And she's right, this guy only thinks for that. Claude look around before going into her room as he locked the door. Annalisa could only sigh and glimpsed at the place where she hid her stuff.
