The cold breeze brushes the leaves in the small plant in Claude's desk. As Claude decided to finish signing the documents that arrived early morning, it was already two in the afternoon when he completed his tasks for today.

Usually, he only works for at least half an hour daily, however, lately, as the company grows bigger, Leila urges him to finish reviewing the documents as much as possible. Hence, whenever documents arrived in the morning, he signed them before the day ends.

As usual, he didn't read anything and casually sign them. He was used to Leila's caring and hard work, why bother checking them when Leila herself working hard for him?

Leila separated already the one he should review with a sign and that review but suggested not to sign. At first, he listens well and did review them and he found all her recommendations make sense and useful. After that, he gradually trusted her opinions and just sign them without looking.

Although Leila still sends the documents with notes on them per her suggestion, Claude didn't tell her he didn't even read them. His ego wouldn't allow him.

Even Annalisa didn't know what he was doing truly at work.

Why would Claude waste his time reviewing something already fixed? He would rather spend the rest of his time on something enjoyable!

It just happens that lately, the documents Leila sent were a lot more than usual. Thrice the amount. Seeing it would only make him dizzy hence he spends his time for work roughly an hour or two.

He didn't complain nor thought about it since he knew Leila is working hard and doing her best for them... Well not really, but he doesn't know...

As he finished packing the documents, he called a maid to send them to the driver and deliver them to the office.

The maid nodded and he left his office looking for refreshments in the kitchen. When he arrived, he saw Annalisa with the maids helping her bake.

"Oh, you're here," Claude's voice took their attention, the maids instantly looked down while Annalisa gave him the sweetest smile like the egg pie she was making. "Oh, Claude! Are you hungry? We're already done baking, I'm just preparing them. Please wait," Annalisa started to slice the pie into pieces and put them on the plate.

"Don't worry, I finished my work and just came here to check. Since I'm done, how about I'll help you out?" Claude started to roll his sleeves up. Even though he is just at home, he was used to wearing sleeves anywhere making him feel superior.

"Oh, thank you~," Annalisa told him to wash his hands while the maids distributed the utensils.

As the snack and refreshments ready in the tray cart, Annalisa instructed them to send them to the garden where the kids are. "I'll change my clothes before I go, I reek flour already!"

"Alright, I'll see you in the garden then," Claude said while Annalisa left hurriedly. As for him, he was followed by maids to the garden. However, as they were walking in the hallway, his phone rang, "You go ahead and don't make the kids hungry." Then he answered the unknown call, "Hello, Mr. Coil! Yes, I already sent..."

The maids nodded and left without looking back. Seeing them gone, Claude smirk, and his playacting was over, "I'm on my way, my love,"

It was Annalisa giving him an excuse to leave...

Meanwhile, the kids, Carla, Kai, and Alicia, in the garden received their refreshments and started to dig in without waiting for Annalisa. Carla guessed where she is.

There are only three things Annalisa was doing in this house. One, impossibly finding the key. Two, taking care of the kids and teach them academics. And lastly, taking care of the other one in a pleasure way.

It was the third, Carla bet.

Nevertheless, she wouldn't care. Even they wrestle day and night, she wouldn't be bothered with it as long as his brother won't see it!

She only cares about her mother and brother. Her mother knows what she's doing but what about her little brother? Who doesn't know how to smile every time yet...

Carla wanted to bring him to space and let him play with the servants she contracted to. But she couldn't as Alicia still here and so does the other maids.

She sighed as she still worries about him and his smile... Except for their mother, Kai never smiled at anyone... As far as she can remember...

This is the first time she felt jealous of her mother or anyone... In her previous life, she just accepted her fate... In this life, she focused on protection and did so, she was satisfied...

But now... She wanted to make Kai smile too! Why does a toddler doesn't smile? There must be a reason right?

While pondering, someone came home early than expected. Leila...

When she got home, she received news from the maid where are the children while her husband was on call. She didn't care about the latter but she still gave them face.

It has been three days since the first time her head ache, now, she was getting used to it and managed to control herself. However, her eyes became deeper as her aura became different. She kept her emotions inside her and started to... Manipulate others...

Jade, her butterfly, didn't know that she changed nor could speak about it. Her master didn't bother, hence, she couldn't let out her frightening moments with her shell.

As Leila walked inside the mansion and went towards her current room shared with her daughter at the end of the hallway, she heard a ruffling sound in one of the rooms she passed by. Although it was soft, she could hear it unlike the maids following her.

She sighed as she guessed who are those. She could clearly bang the door and create a scene but that was no fun! Too cliche! She wanted extreme drama, not the cliche one!

Leila held her chest trying to feel is something left in her heart, she grinned when she didn't found anything except excitement.

' I should hurry up if I wanted to see the one I'm looking forward to sooner... ' Leila held her chin up as she walked straight.

After changing her clothes, she went to the garden where the kids are. As she passed by the same room, the ruffling sound became a little louder than earlier that the maids following her were slightly confused and wondered. But didn't dare ask and could only wonder until they reached the garden.

As she entered the garden, Carla was startled like seeing a ghost for the first time. Leila thought it was because it's unusual for her to come home early. Kai on the other hand chewed his chew toy as he struggles with the itch on his growing baby tooth.

Kai smiled at her for a moment before chewing his toy once more. Leila walked towards him and caressed his head, "How're my sweet children?"

"We're doing great, mama! Just playing here!" Carla shakes the doll she was holding in front of her mother while Kai didn't bother answering and focus on chewing his toy. As for Alicia, she felt shy as she rarely sees this woman they called mama.

She wondered if she's also her mama? She has mommy but didn't understand the difference between mommy and mama. She tilted her head, "Mama?"

Leila went to Alicia and carried her with a bright smile, "Oh my, you can call me mama or auntie whatever suits you, my dear~ Are you having fun with your Big Sis Carla and Little Brother Kai?"

The maids nearby didn't find anything wrong with calling the Miss and Little Sir as Big Sister or Little Brother as they knew how close Miss Annalisa and Leila are. Little did they know Leila meant what she said...

Alicia nodded and pointed at the half-empty snacks in the tray, "Also yummy! Mommy make it!"

Leila cheerfully gently caressed Alicia's cheeks, "That's good to know~"

On the contrary, Carla frowns seeing their mother close with Alicia. As for Kai, he still chews his toy as his tooth itching his gum once more.

Suddenly, Leila stated an unexpected thing which surprised Carla! "My dear daughter, didn't you created a bracelet lately? How about giving one to your lovely little sister? We can also give her a doll~"

"What?" Carla's eyes widen in surprise and confusion. Isn't her bracelet was the one encrypted with magic that can make others obey her? What's her mother trying to do?

"I just thought it would be nice to share your CREATION to your LOVED ONES~" Leila finds it amusing that she can use what Annalisa is doing to her and say it in front of Annalisa's child in a roundabout way.

Just then, Annalisa looking refresh came to join them in the garden. She was stunned seeing Leila at home while the sun still up! Not just that, she also felt feeble seeing her carrying her child!

Claude came just after her and was startled to see his wife early! He gulped and looked a little guilty.

Watching this scene while hearing Leila's remark earlier, Kai smirk under his chew toy.

' Oh~ Saucy~ ' Kai said in his mind as he let out a soft laugh.
