"It's not really that far." Katrina was driving slowly as she tried to remember the way through the forest.

Carla kinda remembers this place; it's a little bit near where the small hut is behind the mansion. 'I hope it's not the house Auntie was referring to...'

"A-Auntie… What exactly is the place you want to show us? " Carla had to inquire before they stumbled upon the house hut...or not?

"If I tell you, it's not a surprise anymore~" Katrina grinned, still looking around. "I think it was around here..." She turned left, which is the exact opposite way to the house hut, and that made Carla feel relieved.

They drove slowly in the middle of the forest until Katrina finally remembered the way, "Oh! I remember this tree! We're almost there! " Katrina gleamed as she sped up a little bit.

"Careful Kat, we might get stuck by a vein around here." Leila reminded her as Katrina felt overexcited.

"Hehe, my bad," Katrina went back to normal speed, "I just wanted Carla to see this place!" Katrina smirked as she boasted, "Besides, what can those veins do?"

Just as she shrugged, the car suddenly hit something below! The three of them were surprised. Fortunately, all of them were wearing seat belts, so they didn't get hurt by the sudden impact.

Katrina frowned and kept stepping on the gas as she tried to let the car get unstuck. However, even with force and no matter how much she tried to go back and forth, the car was stuck!

"Ahh..." Katrina was dumbfounded, "I--I spoke too soon, didn't I?"

Carla was clenching her fists to her seat in the back, while Leila used her feet to kick the car floor to keep her balance, "Y-yes. You did…"

Katrina scratched her head and turned off the engine. She left the car to see what the problem was.

"Dear, stay in the car, okay?" Carla nodded and Leila followed Katrina out of the car.

"The tire got flat. I think the veins that I stumbled into have spikes in them." Katrina bent down as she was examining the car.

"I told you, be careful." Leila touched the car and noticed a sharp stone under the car. "It's not just the veins though, also the stones." Leila pointed the ground out under the tires.

Katrina was surprised and frowned, "Do you mind if we walked from here to the mansion? I was just running around here earlier, so I still remember the way back. " Katrina looked up and stated, "I'm really sorry Leila, I didn't mean for this to happen."

Leila shook her head, "No, no. I know you are just excited after what happened earlier. But, it's a shame if we just go back to the mansion without even seeing your present. "

Katrina looked to the side and pondered, "I'm not sure if Carla can handle walking there. Walking back to the mansion is safe though."

"I can carry Carla Carla if needed to." Leila suggested, "Carla was looking forward to your presents after all. She'd be sad if she couldn't see it. "

"Sigh," Katrina yielded and suggested instead, "How about let's check it out first if the way is okay for her, then you can decide if we can bring Carla there."

Leila agreed without doubt. "All right. This place is at the back of the mansion. We keep it safe anyway, so there would be no wild animals here. "

"Oh, no wonder, I only saw birds here earlier." Katrina went back to the car and told Carla to stay, "My dear, your mommy and I will check the road first if it is safe for you, okay? Stay in the car, it will not be long, okay?"

Carla nodded, "Yes, Auntie, I will stay here."

Katrina looked at her with firm eyes and said, "Seriously, dear, stay." She smiled and closed the door before locking the car with Carla inside.

With butterflies on her side, Carla and Leila are complacent about her safety.

"Let's go," Katrina called Leila to the side, and they went to the road where Katrina saw earlier.

After a few minutes of walking, Leila frowned, as the road is just fine as it is. It's not even dangerous if they just looked carefully at these veins on the ground. "I think Carla can handle this. It's not far, is it? "

Katrina knitted her eyebrows, looking to the front, "No. We are almost there." She halted, and so did Leila.

Katrina pointed at the front, "Do you see that red glowing thing there?"

Leila saw a flickering red light that seemed familiar, "Yeah? What is that? "

"Wait, I have a binocular with me. You can use this if you want." Katrina touched her pocket and that puzzled Leila. How does a binocular fit in that small pocket of Katrina's jeans?

"What do you mean?" Leila asked. But before she could take a look… she sense danger! And suddenly, something in her wrist bit her!

When she looked down at her wrists, she noticed that the bracelet Katrina had given her had turned all red with spikes and her blood splats on it! "W-what the f---"

From her pocket, Katrina took out a pen... her own butterfly! "Oh wow, it's not a binocular I have," Katrina smirked as the pen transformed into a binocular.

Leila was stunned, and this is when she realized... This isn't a surprise for Carla; it's for her!

"Jade!" Leila tried to call her butterfly, but there was no response. She frowned and tried to touch where her butterfly mark was... But she only felt a sting! A spark of electricity caused her fingers to fly away from her mark!

'Carla! Lulu! Answer me if you can hear me! ' Leila tried to communicate with the other butterflies through telepathy, but still no response! "What did you do?"

Without waiting for a response, Leila jumped her way out of Katrina's range and was supposed to go back to the car where Carla was, but she only jumped once and fell to the ground as her vision started to blur and her body felt weakened and heavy. "W---" She was surprised that her voice was also hoarse instead… As if, something in her throat drying her…

"I don't know why my boss wanted to kill you but..." Katrina said as she walked towards Leila with her butterfly morphed into a long whip. "But thanks for this wonderful butterfly weapon you gave to me~" 

Katrina giggled, "I will use it well in your place."

"F*ck! Katrina! You're a---!" Leila couldn't finish her words as Katrina kicked her guts that pushed her to the tree! "Argh!"

"I'll take care of my niece and nephew for you. My boss can manipulate their memories for me!" Katrina used her long whip and snatched the long sword hiding in the bushes.

The Aruka!

Using the Aruka, Katrina pierced it to Leila's heart! "Good bye, sister-in-law."
