"Thank you so much for the help today, attorney," Leila was holding her daughter, who was feeling sleepy in her arms as they stood up from their side when the case ended.

Atty. Gizelle shook her head, "They got what they deserved. I just hope for the best for both of your children. They suffered the most." Atty. Gizelle patted Carla's head, and the three of them left the court.

As they were walking out of the courtroom, the judge went down and called them, "Ms. Toblason."

Both Leila and Atty. Gizelle looked back and the judge gave her a calling card, "You can call me and my secretary will guide you to my friend who owns a hospital and a children's health center. What happened to your children was unimaginable. I hope you will accept this help, as a mother myself."

Leila gently smiled and took the card, "Thank you, your honor. I would gladly accept this help. We will not be taking your time." They said their good byes and finally left the courtroom.

Atty. Gizelle and Leila parted ways in the hallway, and Leila brought her daughter back to the comfort room. However, before they reached the comfort and they were supposed to be eaten by Lucy, someone called out her name.

"Leila, wait!" Katrina was running back towards them, and Leila could only halt. Arriving in front of her, she bit her lip and took the courage to say, "C-can I give you a lift?"

Leila was stunned and speechless. They are not a family anymore, although Katrina didn't do anything wrong towards them. Still, this is unnecessary.

"I-I know this is a bit uncomfortable for you and I understand that." Katrina smiled a bitter smile with solemn eyes, "But it happened so fast… I thought I would never see my niece and nephew again without any good news for a month, and then you showed up with this unexpected news. I was happy that you three were alive. But now I-I don't know anymore... I don't know where I stand anymore."

Katrina looked at Carla with a sadness in her eyes, "It's the least I could do and probably the last thing…"

Leila felt nothing and was eager to go back to the space and start her new plan immediately. However, Carla had mixed feelings towards her aunt.

In the previous life she had, Katrina saved her and her mother and tried her best to escape with them, but it led to her death. Now that they are not family anymore, her aunt's path is different... Does this imply that her aunt will live longer? After all, it was their fault her aunt died early.

Carla nudged her mother and said quietly, "Mama, this is our goodbye to aunt Katrina."

After all, they won't see each other again. Leila, Kai, and Carla would disappear from this world.

Leila listened to her daughter's request and agreed with Katrina, "Well, you have done a lot and helped a lot, especially in my first pregnancy, Katrina. Of course, we'll take your request."

Katrina's eyes lightened with joy, and Carla asked her mother to put her down to hold her aunt's hands as they walked out of the courtroom.

"Where is Lola Esmeralda, Auntie Katrina?" Carla swayed her arms along with her aunt's arms and asked.

[Note: Lola means grandmother.]

"Well, your Lola took the hit too much," Katrina replied, "She went home first. "I came back because I don't want to regret not seeing you and your mother ever again."

"I will miss you, Auntie!" Carla smiled brightly, which stunned Katrina.

Katrina blurted out, "After seeing you back there, Carla, I'm worried about how much you've grown in that environment."

Carla and Leila were surprised. Although they know that Katrina is intelligent, especially given her line of work as a government officer, with how calm Katrina is, they know she is quick-witted.

Well, Katrina evolved her own butterfly without knowing its origin and just accepted its abilities no matter how weird it was. Carla wondered what was on her aunt's mind. Still, she answered, "Carla is Carla, Auntie. Just like Auntie Katrina will always be Auntie Katrina."

Katrina was surprised and smiled. She brushed Carla's hair and said, "You're right. You will always be Carla."

The three of them ride in Katrina's car, which she used in her work.

Katrina sat in the driver's seat and beside her was Leila, while Carla sat at the back for safety. "Leila, I have something for you on the dashboard. Can you get it for me?"

Leila nodded and opened the dashboard and saw a small red box, "What is this?" She opened it and saw a silver bracelet with red diamonds.

"That was supposed to be your birthday gift. I'm preparing it. It's a limited edition." Katrina started the engine. "But I guessed that would be my farewell gift to you instead. I hope you will like it."

Leila wore it with a great smile and replied, "Thank you, I appreciate it."

"What about me, auntie? Where's my farewell gift too?" Carla was just joking around, but Katrina took it for real.

"Well, it's a bit unexpected, so how about I show you something amazing I just recently found instead?" Katrina asked.

Both Leila and Carla were surprised. Does Katrina meant about her butterfly?

If it does, then she can't be trusted with it. If she can't keep a secret...

"W-what is it? Is it a toy?" Carla awkwardly asked.

Katrina shook her head, "Nope. It's a beautiful view nearby your mansion. Things can easily be broken, but memories can be kept close to our hearts. How about we take a short visit before you come back home to the mansion?"

"O-of course if that's you two, you're going back home to the mansion now," Katrina exclaimed, realizing she might misinterpret something. "Or do you two have a place in mind? "

"It's alright." Leila answered, "We're going to get some things first before fetching my son. Let's go see Carla's present before going back to the mansion. We're not much in a hurry."

"Thank you," Katrina smiled, "It will not be long, I promise."

It wasn't really long...

…Before Carla would regret it.

At the moment they arrived at the'surprise' place, leaving Carla locked up in the back seat, Leila felt a sting in her wrist... where the bracelet Katrina gave her.

"Y- you! Where is my mama!"
