When aunty said that she wanted Nandini's hand as Manik's bride I was quite shocked as I didn't expected that this was what she wanted to discuss with me.

When in the morning aunty called me to ask to meet her in a restaurant and that too private to discuss some important issue I would have never thought that she wanted to discuss about this matter with me.

Never in my wildest dreams I could have thought that aunty asked me to meet her in the restaurant to discuss about the marriage proposal for Nandini.

I can't even imagine that my daughter is no longer a baby and now her age to get married has arrived. She was such a small doll a few days ago and now she is even getting proposals of perspective groom.

I was soo lost in my thoughts that I didn't even took notice of my surroundings. It was when aunty shake me I came out of my thoughts and took notice of my surroundings.

Grandma : Karan r u fine, u seems to be out of space.

Karan : Nothing aunty, it was just that you suddenly kept proposal for Nandini in front of me that I couldn't understand how should I react as till now I never thought about this matter.

Grandma : It's ok Karan, m not forcing u to except this proposal straight away. M just asking you to thing about this matter as Nandini currently is in the perfect age to get married.  It's just my opinion and advise but the final decision lays in your and Nandini's hands.

Karan : Yes aunty, I understand your perspective and I know u will never think anything which is not in our favour. I will seriously take this proposal into consideration and will discuss it will everyone at home and only after that will I be able to tell u about the decision as the final say about all this thing will be of Nandini's as she is the one who will get married.

Hope u will understand my point of view and take Nandini's decision into account.

Grandma : Yeah, I understand and Nandini's opinion does matter the most in this decision as she is the one who will face the change due to marriage and she is the one who needs to be ready to face this change and adapt it...

Karan : Thanks a lot for understanding my point of view aunty and giving importance to Nandini's opinion.   Now I will take your leave .

After that both Karan and Grandma leaves the restaurant and goes to their own ways.  On the whole way to home Karan was all the time thinking about this proposal, he was having a positive feeling from this proposal and just wanted to reach home as soon as possible and discuss the same with all the members of his family.

He wanted to know their opinion regarding this matter as just he can't take decision about such a important matter. He has to take into consideration all of their view points.

Here on the other hand, grandma on her way to home while being in the car was thinking about the decision that Karan and his family will take regarding this matter. She just wanted to make Nandini Manik's bride as soon as possible.

If it is in her hands she will marry both Manik and Nandini along with each other on that moment only.

The scene ends where on one side we can see grandma's excited and hopefull face to make Nandini her granddaughter in law and on the other hand we can see Karan's deep thinking face where he is calculating or determining about all the prons and cons of this proposal.
