Glimmer of hope
Just as Amar's hope was dwindling, after what doctor told about his karu, Dr. Jain's face lit up with a warm smile. "Amar, I have some good news." His voice was like a ray of sunshine, breaking through the darkness that had enveloped the hospital room.
Amar's heart skipped a beat. "What is it, Doctor?" He leaned forward, his eyes pleading for any shred of positivity. Dr. Jain's eyes sparkled. " Pushpa ji, is out of coma. She's showing signs of regaining consciousness." The words hung in the air like a promise, filling Amar's chest with a mix of emotions.
The room erupted into a mix of tears and cheers. Santosh hugged Amar tightly, while Anubhav pumped his fist in triumph. "Thank God," Santosh whispered, her voice trembling .Amar's face crumpled, overwhelmed with emotion.
"Thank God... thank God." He rushed to his Amma's bedside, taking her hand in his. His fingers intertwined with hers, feeling the warmth of her skin. Pushpa's eyelids fluttered open, her gaze locking onto Amar's.
A faint smile spread across her face, illuminating the room. "Amar... lalla..." she whispered, her voice barely audible .Amar's tears flowed freely, streaming down his face. "Amma... I'm here. I'm right here." He pressed his lips to her hand, holding it against his cheek. Dr. Jain beamed. "This is a crucial turning point. With proper care, she'll recover."
His words infused Amar with renewed hope.A s Amar held his Amma's hand, a sense of renewal washed over him. Maybe, just maybe, they could rebuild their shattered lives. The thought of his Amma smiling and laughing again filled him with determination
.But amidst the joy, a question lingered: what would Amma's memories reveal about the blast? Would she remember anything? Pushpa's gaze drifted to Amar's face, her eyes searching. "Amar... Karishma?" she whispered. Amar's heart ached, knowing he had to tell her about Karishma's condition.
Amar's eyes welled up with tears as he shared the painful truth with his Amma. "Amma, she suffered a miscarriage... the doctor said her condition is critical. woh kitni khush thi jab unhe pata chala tha ki woh pregnat hai" His voice cracked, the weight of his words crushing him.
Pushpa's face contorted in anguish, her eyes overflowing with tears. "humari bahurani..." she whispered, her voice trembling. Amar held her hand tighter, trying to comfort her. But Pushpa's expression transformed, determination etching itself on her face."Humme Karishma se milna hai," she declared, her voice firm. "I want to see Karishma."
Amar nodded, understanding. "I'll arrange it, Amma. But you need to rest too." Pushpa's gaze locked onto Amar's. "Humare liye karishma zyada zaruri hai," she said, her voice resolute. On her demand a wheelchair was bought. Amar's heart swelled with emotion. His Amma's words were a beacon of hope in the darkness.
Pushpa's hands gently cradled Karishma's face, her voice barely above a whisper. "Karishma bahurani dekho tumari amma aayi hai, humse baat karo naa." Tears streamed down her face as she spoke.
"Dekho hum tumhe kabhi taane nhi marege tum bass uth jao. Dekho lalla kitna dukhi." Pushpa's voice trembled as she gently caressed her head. "Humare lalla ke toh bhaag hi phut gye jo aesi biwi mili hai jo uski baat hi nhi sunti."
"Karishma agar tum nhi uthi naa toh maddam sir se kehkar tumhe line hazir karwa denge, woh bhi ek hafte ke liye, fir dikhati rehna apna bhaukaal."
Amar stood beside her, his eyes welling up with tears. He had never seen his Amma so vulnerable, so full of love.
"lalla dekho naa karishma humari baat nhi sun rhi." Amar side hugged his mother while tears rolled down his eyes.
Pushpa's eyes widened as she felt Karishma's fingers brush against hers. "Amar, dekho! She's responding!" Amar's heart leapt with joy. "Amma, you're right! Karu, please wake up!"
"Amma..." she whispered, her voice barely audible, still unconsious. Pushpa's tears flowed freely, her face radiant with hope. "Karishma, beta! My child!" Amar's voice trembled. "Karu, we're here for you. We won't leave you." they finally saw a glimmer of hope.

Anubhav's voice cracked as he whispered, "Haseena ji, wake up. See, I'm here." He gently took her hand, his eyes pleading for a response. Haseena's face was pale, her breathing shallow.
The hospital machines surrounding her beeped steadily, a reminder of the fragile thread between life and death. Anubhav's gaze locked onto Haseena's, willing her to wake up. "Haseena, my love, come back to me." Tears streamed down his face as he spoke.
His fingers traced the contours of her face, gentle as a breeze. "I missed you so much, Haseena ji. Your smile, your laughter, your fiery spirit." Anubhav's voice cracked as he spoke. "I remember the way you'd argue with me, the way you'd stand up for what's right. I remember the way you'd make me feel whole." He leaned forward, his lips brushing against her forehead. "I love you, Haseena ji. More than words can say."
As he sat beside her, holding her hand, Anubhav felt a sense of calm wash over him. He knew Haseena would wake up, would come back to him. And when she did, he'd be here, waiting.
Anubhav's voice dropped to a whisper, his words spilling out like a confession. "Haseena ji, I missed you so much during my mission. Every moment felt like an eternity without you." He paused, collecting his thoughts.
"I'd find myself thinking of your smile, your laughter, your eyes sparkling with defiance. I'd wonder what you'd say, how you'd react, if you were beside me." Anubhav's gaze drifted to Haseena's hands, his fingers intertwining with hers.
"I'd remember the way you'd hold my hand, the way you'd look at me with such trust." His voice cracked. "There were times I thought I wouldn't make it back, that I'd never see you again. But the thought of you kept me going, Haseena. It kept me alive."
Anubhav's eyes welled up with tears. "I'd imagine our future together, our life after this chaos. I'd picture us walking hand in hand, free from the shadows of our past." He leaned forward, his lips brushing against Haseena's ear. "I love you, priye. More than duty, more than country, more than life itself." The hospital room faded away, leaving only the two of them, suspended in a world of longing.
"jaldi uth jaiye priye fir humme sagai bhi toh karni hai!" he said. "Humara vada hai aapse haseena ji hum unn sabko saza dilwaynge jinhone aapki, behna ki, pushpa ji ki, cheetah ki aur billu ki aesi halat ki. zinda nhi chhodenge hum unhe, aap logo ko kasht pohchana unki zindagi ki akhiri galti hogi.' he looked at his lady love with determination.

Santosh's footsteps echoed through the hospital corridor as she made her way to Haseena's room. The antiseptic smell and muted beeping of machines created a somber atmosphere. She pushed open the door, and her eyes landed on Haseena's peaceful face, still and pale against the white hospital sheets.
Santosh approached the bedside, her gaze scanning the monitors and IV lines. Haseena's chest rose and fell with steady, mechanical breaths.
"Hey, Maddam sir," Santosh whispered, taking her hand. "Dekhiye maine woh naukari chhod di abb main MPT mein aapke saath humari team ke saath hi kaam karungi, maddam sir uthiye naa mujhe gaale lagiyee, aap nhi jaanti maine aapko kitnaa miss kiya hai."
She stood there, holding Haseena's hand, willing her to wake up.The doctor had said Haseena's condition was stable, but Santosh couldn't shake off the worry.
As she gazed at Haseena's peaceful face, Santosh's thoughts drifted to their time together in MPT, their laughter, their struggles, and their triumphs.
"maddam sir main good news toh dena hi bhool gye the! Pushpe ko hosh aagya hai woh weak hai pr jaldi theek ho jayengi"
"Aapko pata hai, Maddam sir, Anubhav sir bhi laut aaye hai," Santosh said, her voice filled with emotion. "Woh deshdrohi nahi hai, Maddam sir. Woh aapse bohot pyaar karte hai." Santosh's eyes welled up with tears.
"Aur, Maddam sir, Karishma Maddam pregnant thi... unhone apna baccha kho diya." Santosh's voice cracked. "Unhe aapki zarurat hai, Maddam sir. Aap hi unhe sakoon de sakti hai." She paused, collecting her thoughts.
"Maddam sir, uthiye naa... humein aapki zarurat hai. Anubhav sir, Karishma maddam, aur hum sab aapke saath hai." Santosh's voice pleaded. "Aap hi humari shakti hai, Maddam sir." As Santosh spoke, Haseena's face showed a flicker of response.
"Humari maddam sir bohut strong hai santu! unhe kuch nhi hoga, woh apni team se bohut pyaar karti hai woh zarur lautenge, unhe lautna hi hoga!" Pushpa ji said entering in the room
