Next summer
To complete
Scuba open water certification

As the water
Channels past the body
Thoughts
Of how different the
Calendar
Looks, whirl in the mind

Nothing on the calendar
At this time last July
Other then getting through
The next moment

But now the days and weeks
Are filled with things to do
Acupuncture
Gym/pool
Hanging out with friends

Plans are being made
Only two weeks ahead
But better then not knowing
What the next second will bring

A long time coming
Though at the beginning of this month
Fear enveloped the brain
Of what was
The more of a difference within the
Calendar itself

The greater the understanding that
This in fact is a different year
In a different life
Chapter
And that hell is over

And determination for the
Peace and recovery to continue
Never relapse or crash again
That is priority number 1
