Kapitel 2
She ran through the streets in a hurry. She still had a few minutes until the curfew began. The dark side alley into which they bead had rained with puddles. Slowly the rain soaked her thin coat. Shortly before the bells struck eight o'clock, she came to the house where she lived. "I was already worried Lyanna," the voice of her big brother sounded from a dark corner. Lyanna slowly took a candle off the table and lit it with trembling fingers. Then she turned off the candle again and looked around. Her brother stepped out and took her in his arms. "Are you looking forward to tomorrow?" he asked quietly. "How can I rejoice if I have to go to an academy where there are almost only feas that make my life hell, Flynn?" Lyanna inquired annoyed. "It is the only way that the feas notice that we elves are not as evil as they think," Flynn explained in a calm voice. "But we are not the bad guys!" Lyanna screamed angry and hit the table with her flat hand. "The feas oppress us. We don't do anything!"
There was a knock on the door. "If that's not the Pinkertons," mumbled Flynn quietly. Lyanna was frightened that the Pinkertons loved to beat up elves and now they even had the reason that she insulted the feas. Slowly she went to the door and opened. "We heard someone insult the feas, was that you?" asked a Pinkarton sharply. Lyanna left at the moment. "No, I would never do that," she stuttered anxiously and stared at the floor. "Let it be good Tom," said the other Pinkarton, "She's the little one who goes to the academy, she wouldn't say such a thing." "Is that true?" asked the Pinkerton named Tom to Lyanna. "Yes, sir, I would never say anything like that. The feas are the most powerful and strongest beings in this area," asserted Lyanna. The words sounded as if she had memorized it all her life, which was actually true. But the Pinkertons were satisfied and went on. She in a hurry to close the door and turned to her brother. "Next time you have to get upset," Said Flynn seriously.
The next day Lyanna walked through the streets. It wasn't the neighborhood where she usually stayed. Perfume from nobles tickled in her nose and she wanted to disappear again. But she had to go to the place where she was taken to the academy with the other bourgeois. She stopped in a large square and looked around. On one corner, Lyanna saw four dwarfs looking for someone. When one saw her, he waved at her. "You also have to go to the academy, don't you?" the dwarf inquired. "Yes, I have to," she answered his question. "Then come on, we are allowed to go on the loading area of this carriage," explained the dwarf and pointed to a carriage.
Lyanna jumped onto the loading area and helped the dwarves up. When everyone was sitting and the carriage drove off, the one dwarf looked at her. "You are an elf, aren't you? What's your name?" Asked the dwarf. "Yes, I am an elf and my name is Lyanna Turner, but most people call me Lya," she introduced herself. "Pleasant, my name is Arif and these are Jari, Watt and Bess," Arif replied, pointing to the other three while he said their names. The dwarf named Bess gave Lyanna a warm smile while the other two dwarfs nodded to her. Tired, Lyanna closed her eyes and fell asleep. When she woke up, she looked up and gasped for air. The towers of the academy towered in front of her.
