// 2 weeks passed //

"Everything I want the world to be, is coming true especially for me! And the reason is clear, its because you are here, you're the nearest thing to heaven that I've seen" I sing making my way to Joe's flat.
I feel joyful beyond words this morning because at last I'm spending the weekend with my Romeo. I hadn't seen him in days due to school and rehearsals with my band! Can you imagine my pain away from his lips?
ALSO, tonight is the night I've been thinking about nonstop! Lou Reed's concert is this evening! I cannot process fully that I will stand before the very man who composed "Heroin," "Perfect Day," and "Candy Says" amongst many other sacred pieces of music!
Ah! I love, love, love, how Joe started calling me "Candy," as if he knew about my idle and despondent past when I would pretend Lou wrote "Candy Says" about me.

I land back on earth as I reach the end of the corridor,
"Good morning gentlemen, I have brought to you, breakfast" I exclaim gladly as I swing the door open.

"Hey! Mornin' Candy, what a surprise for you to come by" says Mick setting down his guitar and walking towards the kitchen.
"Hah, don't exaggerate I came like, last week" I set the bag with waffles and the bottle of milk on the counter
"and what have we got here?" he opens the bag, "sweet! thank you!" he kisses my cheek "nice to have you back" he says, I smile.
"its my pleasure...where are the other two?"
"where do you think?"
"Right" I nod
I make my way to Joe and Paul's room and open the door quietly. There they are snoring away, shirtless, glistening with sweat.
I jump on Joe, startled he opens his eyes and smiles right away, "Angel, you've come at last" his voice sounds rough as if he sang a bit too much.
I kiss his lips soft like roses, "wake up Romeo, I brought you breakfast."
He whines "why don't you sleep in with me?" he asks pulling me onto the bed, I land between him and Paul who looks up dazed and confused.
"morning" he yawns, "did you spend the night?" he mumbles as he scratches his head.
I laugh, "no."
"oh, excuse me" he heads to the bathroom.
I get up as well and open the curtains, Joe covers his eyes.

"Did you tell her yet?" asks Mick as he finishes eating.
"I would have if she answered the phone, or the door."
I look up confused "huh? tell me what?"
"We finished the album last night, It'll be in stores next week" states Paul proudly
"That's awesome!" I say as I run to hug the three, "congrats guys! It'll be a hit, I know it!" They thank me, "we should celebrate!" I propose.
"I'd love to but I think I did enough of that last night, I'm gonna rest the day away, sorry babe" says Paul making his way into his room, "but thanks a lot for the food!" he closes the door behind him.
"I'm a little light headed as well, but maybe tomorrow" says Mick.

I turn towards Joe, "you guys celebrated last night?"
"Yeah, I went by your place to pick you up but you didn't answer. I also called a couple times."
I feel heart broken and mad at myself for missing the big celebration, also for not having answered the door when my baby called upon it.
"I'm so sorry! I was exhausted so I crashed really early, I didn't even hear anyone knock."
"I know baby, I get it" he pulls me into his arms "I've been busy and tired as well. I just wish you wouldn't spend so much time with school rubbish, these couple weeks you didn't come thru, and when I tried to come over you wouldn't see me."
My stomach twirls and I'm consumed by guilt, has it really been two weeks since I last saw him?!
"You're right! I'm an awful girlfriend" I hug him, "Its the stupid courses I'm obligated to pass before the end of the semester. They're killing me with work and I'm trying to be part of a band myself plus working on my art for extra money" I sigh "I was really stressed and when I'm stressed I'm rude so I wanted to keep myself from being a bitch to you, I'm sorry" I explain trying my best to excuse my absence.
"You're not awful, or a bitch" he laughs "don't worry, I still love you" he kisses me bringing back the joy into my existence. "Today you'll be all mine, all day."
