II: Talk Is Overrated

BTS

They normally didn't care about civilians and what they were doing but when their waitress had left in such a hurry, they had all noticed the gun tucked under her shirt, the metal having been the thing to stick out the most to them. Namjoon, Jin, and Jungkook also noticed that the girl hadn't headed to the hospital, proving that her excuse to get out of work was a lie.

"I'm not the only who noticed that, right?" Jungkook asked as they all slowly started to pour out of the booth, following after Namjoon as he paid for their drinks. Jimin followed right beside him with a tablet already in his hand.

"Hack this morning's footage by 75th and Colt. See if we can see this girl that was mentioned by the witnesses. Then I want you to track the car she's in right now," Namjoon ordered as they walked down the street. Jimin nodded his head silently as his nose went straight into the tablet, his best friend, Taehyung, helping guide him so he wouldn't run into any poles.
After an impatient four minutes, Namjoon glanced at the hacker.

"Anything?" he asked in annoyance but the hacker simply shook his head. The leader of the group let out a groan of frustration. No lead on the girl. The only lead he had was to a dead end and that brought up so many questions. Who was she? Why did she carry a slightly-noticeable weapon? Why did she lie to her boss about her situation and where she was going? So many unanswered questions began to cause a slim headache to form, pounding in Namjoon's skull.

"Let's just go home," Jin, the eldest Bangtan member and the doctor of the group, suggested when he noticed the slight change in Namjoon's behavior. Everyone came to a quick mutual agreement until Jimin stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, causing Yoongi to run into his back due to lack of attention.

"Hang on," was all Jimin said as everybody looked at him with curious eyes, Yoongi rubbing the bridge of his nose as he glared at him. "Jung Lee just posted on the dark side of the web, saying that he's selling a decent load of drugs. It's invitation only and we're invited," he stated, looking up at Namjoon with a hint of annoyance in his eyes. This man had been on their radar for quite some time, waiting to see if he would do anything.

"Let's go pay him a visit before the festivities officially begin, shall we?" the leader murmured, narrowing his eyes as they all rounded the corner and walked into an empty parking lot where their Cadillac Escalade Platinum sat.

Rebel

Jae leaned against the empty metal office desk, papers and pencils and other things that had been sitting on the desk now laying scattered or even shattered on the floor beneath her feet. Her eyes were drawn to the man in front of her who was finally coming around after having been knocked out for a good ten minutes. His tie lay loosely around his neck, his pressed white button up stained with splotches of drying blood around his chest and collar. The blood was from a cut on his lip and his lip had bled more than she had ever seen but she could care less, shrugging it off.

"So, Jung Lee," she started, straightening up from the spot she was in, causing him to flinch at the sudden sound as well as the sudden movement. "Where is all the money and the drugs?" She was calm, her voice thick with her mood, as she looked down at him. She was taller than him now that he was tied to a metal chair.

"Gone. I've already sold them and shipped them off," he answered quickly, panic in his face, causing Jae to rub the bridge of her nose in irritation. She licked her lips, the lack of moist air causing them to slowly dry. Gently, she reached up and fixed the red baseball cap that sat on her head and helped cover her eyes, before reaching behind her to grab the gun from her waistband. She pointed the muzzle down at the businessman, the safety off. Inhaling at the sight, Jung Lee shifted in his seat, his eyes widened with fear. "Fine! Fine! The drugs are still waiting to be sold. They're in a room downstairs, behind a locked door. Please! Please don't hurt me!" Tears began to fill the man's eyes and he stared at Jae pleadingly. Pitiful. Jae tsked before pulling the trigger back, shooting Lee in the knee.

The older man let out a blood curdling and pain-filled cry and she shrugged, stepping back as she dropped her hand to her side, turning the safety back on her gun. She raised her free hand to tap her ear piece. "Did you get that, Hawk?" she asked as she waited for her brother to do his thing.

"Yeah. He was telling the truth. It is all in a storage room on the lower floor," Hoon responded, followed by a long pause. Jae's face relaxed, only to twist in concern when she realized he had more to say. When static returned from his end, she looked at Lee who was, currently, in a daze from blood loss. "Get out of there. You have seven people coming your way," Hoon warned and Jae nodded her head, looking at the guy a little more.

"Something is missing," she grumbled slowly, irritated that he would get to live. Turning on her heels, she looked at the scattered pens and pencils and picked up a sharpie from the mess. Uncapping it, she walked over to Lee and grabbed his chin harshly, forcing it upwards. With one fluid movement, she wrote 'Rebel' across his forehead and stepped back to admire her handiwork. Capping the pen, she chucked it and turned on her heels, rushing out of the door to try to beat the men as if she were in a race, wanting to avoid the oncoming guys as much as possible.

"Down the stairs and to your left," Hoon guided and Jae looked up at the security camera, nodding her thanks towards him and towards the world for blessing her with a hacker for a brother. When she took the left after the stairs, she went straight into a tight, small room, the gun still resting in her hand. She stood close to the door, listening to all that going on around her.

"Do you think he's still here?" a voice asked.

"You're the one who hacked into the security cameras. Of course he's still here, Jimin."

"Ye-yeah, but what if I was wro-"

"He's here! Looks like somebody else was here too," a new guy shouted.

Jae hadn't even heard him go up the stairs. Whoever it was, it caused a sort of anxiety rush through her body. How had she not heard him? If she hadn't heard him did he hear her? Even though she knew she was quiet the possibly still hung in the back of her mind. When the thundering footsteps disappeared and the air around her went quiet, Jae listened for her brother's order to move. When it was given, Jae ran out of the room without a second thought, heading out of the door she had just come in, and to the waiting car. Once she was in, she sat down and buckled up. Her hands were shaking slightly and her breathing was very heavy.

"Took you long enough," Hoon jested without looking at her, his head tilted at an angle. Jae shook her head and brushed off the feeling, just glad that she was with her brother and not separated from him. She glanced at the clock before sighing. Five p.m. That meant she had another gig in an hour and a half.

"Just drive to the club," Jae huffed, feigning annoyance playfully, and Hoon complied by turning the key in the ignition, the car roaring to life. A gunshot came from the warehouse, the bullet colliding with the trunk of the vehicle, and Jae leaned forward to look into the mirror of the car. Immediately, she saw the blond from the café earlier and Hoon let out a growl before stepping on the gas, pissed that his car was now damaged, fleeing the scene without a second thought.

BTS Again

Namjoon slammed his palm against the broken glass pane window before turning to glare at Jung Lee. He was becoming a serious problem.

"Who was here?" he barked in annoyance but Lee couldn't form an answer, the blood, his sweat, and the tears from the pain leaving his mouth empty as he just focused on trying to stay alive. "Fuc-fine. Did they shoot you?" Namjoon asked, the answer to the question quite obvious. He wanted to see if Lee was at least responsive.

The older man nodded his head as he glanced fearfully up at Namjoon and then around at the remaining six members standing around in his office. One of the men, Taehyung, knelt down in front of Lee, causing him to jump back against the chair.

"At least this Rebel roughed him up for us," he chuckled but stopped when the grumpy sniper shot him a glare. Namjoon sighed before walking out of the room, the others following after him. After the door shut, a single shot rang out and then there was a heavy thud. Hoseok left the room seconds after and met up with his family.

"So, the club?" he asked with an unwavering tone to his voice. Everyone agreed with Hoseok's decision but the gunman was waiting for Namjoon's opinion.

"Sure. Why the hell not?" the leader replied, shrugging his shoulders, and the members cheered.

Taehyung shoved his hands into his pockets and sighed. He refused to have alcohol ever since the incident he had when he was younger involving some pictures that were posted online.

"Tae Tae gets soda," Jimin teased as he threw his arm around his best friend's shoulders and they all headed to their Cadillac, heading straight to the club.
