The prince walked in the middle of ministers who were bowing their heads in order to show their respect to him. Taehyung knelt in front of the King and bowed his head before looking at him with no emotion on his face.

“My son, I am pleased to see you here.” King Juhwan seemed to be genuine with his words.

“I hope I felt the same way, your majesty.” Taehyung responded with a quite stern tone.

The smile on the King's face disappears, turning into dismay. Taehyung walked to take a seat on the King's right side while the concubine was on the left side with Jimin beside the concubine, his mother, and Jungkook behind the prince.

“Your majesty, may you please tell us why you gathered us here?” Minister Seong started to inquire.

“Everyone, for today's gathering, I am genuinely keen to tell you that I will let the crowned prince, Taehyung, have my position for the next week. I want the prince to be able to learn how to handle the Palace.” King Juhwan stated.

“Pardon, your majesty, I am not convinced that's good news for us and the citizens of the Palace.” Minister Kim spoke up against the King.

“What do you mean by that, Minister Kim?” King Juhwan asked.

“The young crowned prince doesn't seem to be prepared for that to happen. Besides, the prince has no skills to rule the Palace yet.” Minister Kim responded.

“The prince learned enough to be the King. He has the skills to rule the Palace, Minister Kim.” King Juhwan defended the prince, his son.

“Skill? I doubt that, what kind of skills, your majesty? To mortify the Palace because of his mischievous actions? And the citizens are making fun of him.” Minister Pah meddles in the conversation.

“He's right, your majesty, you shouldn't crown him, to begin with. If there's someone who deserves to be crowned, it's Prince Park Jimin, who showed astounding skills and knowledge that you didn't bother to acknowledge at all.” Minister Seong explained.

“I agree with that, your majesty, the crowned prince has nothing compared to Prince Park. He's incapable of ruling the Palace.” Minister Yeon added.

The concubine, Jimin's mother, was grinning while listening to their opinions.

“I accept all of your opinions against the prince, however, I decided to continue this discussion later on, it seemed that there are plenty of inquiries that needed to be fixed.” King Juhwan ended the gathering.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung and saw him fisting his palm on his lap. He moved his eyes in front of them, seeing Minister Pah smirking at the Prince. The ministers left the Palace, and Taehyung stood up to leave as well.

“Prince Kim, aren't you going to continue the gathering celebration? I have prepared a celebration just for you.” The concubine, queen Eunah, speaks.

Taehyung glanced at her and gave her a smile.

“That's so kind of you, woman, but I don't have the intention to waste my time just to continue and watch the celebration. I will go now.”

He left the Palace, Jungkook bowed his head to the royalties and followed the Prince.
