After packing the bags into Candy's car, I leaned against the trunk, inspecting the tarp covered car in front of me.

Candy walked up next to me. "Why don't we drive it down there?"

I pulled the edge of the tarp up and ran my hand over the fender of my 'Cuda. "Maybe another time."

She dangled the keys in front of me. "C'mon, you haven't driven it since we started dating... you know you want to."

I sighed before taking the keys from her hand. I couldn't help but smile down at them. "Fine, help me load her up."

After removing the tarp and packing it up with our stuff, we got into the front seats.

I glanced at her and she smiled. "Well, you gonna start it?"

I looked down and rubbed the steering wheel. 'You haven't been started since she left us.' I though to myself, then another thought occurred. 'The past is the past, but I'm your future.'

I smiled a little before putting the key in the ignition and turning it. It took a few seconds but, eventually, the car rumbled to life.

The sound of the exhaust and Aerosmith on the radio brought me back to the old days. But, I wasn't gonna think about that, at least for this weekend.

Candy smiled at me. "Damn, she sounds amazing."

I gave it a few revs before turning the radio up and taking off down the driveway.

After a short drive, we pulled in front of Wendy's house. Everyone was already there and they seemed to be staring at me in disbelief.

I parked the car and we got out.

"Wow, I never thought I'd see you driving this again." Wendy said as she ran her hand over the roof.

"Well, it still sounds badass." Kat said.

I smiled. "It hasn't been that long has it?"

"Please, Candy's had to drive your drunk ass around since you started dating." Beth said.

A few laughs rang out.

"Love you to." I replied sarcastically.

"Alright, who's driving with who?" Abigail asked.

"We can take a couple people." Candy said.

"Same here." Blake added.

So we split into three groups. Beth and Kris would ride with us, while Dana and Abigail would ride with Blake and Kat, and Stephanie and Billy would ride with Wendy and Jen.

Then, we hit the road.

The drive was longer than I remembered and about halfway through, we had to stop for gas. The other two cars pulled into the gas station behind us.

A few people got out to use the restroom and buy snacks.

"Sorry, we need gas." I said as I closed the door behind Beth.

"That Six-Pack isn't so cool now, huh?" Dana asked with a smirk.

I shrugged. "Still cooler than that plastic piece of shit you call a carburetor."

She scoffed. "No one ever respects the ThermoQuad."

I chuckled. "For good reason."

She just flipped me off before walking into the gas station.

After filling her up, we were back on the road and eventually we made it, just as the sun was starting to set.

We all got out and walked into the familiar interior. Memories immediately started flashing through my mind.

I walked in and looked down the long hallway that led to the room we stayed in all those years ago.

"Don't worry, Blake and Kat are taking that room." Wendy said from behind me.

I glanced at her and nodded before looking down.

She placed a hand on my shoulder. "You gonna be ok?"

I sighed. "I think so."

She squeezed my shoulder. "Well, just remember Candy's here for you and so are we."

I smiled at her. "Thanks."

She smiled back before Candy walked up. "This is a nice place, Wendy."

"Thanks. Wait 'til you see your room." She replied.

After getting our stuff into our room, I sat down on the edge of the bed.

Candy sat down next to me. "Having fun yet?"

I smiled slightly before looking at the floor. "I can remember everything so clearly, just like it was yesterday."

She rubbed my back. "Hey, I promised you a fun weekend and that's exactly what you're gonna have."

I laughed a little. "I'm holding you to that."

She kissed my cheek, then my lips. "Well, I know exactly how we can start the fun..." She said before kissing my other cheek, then my chin and down to my neck.

I let out a small moan as I pulled her into my lap. She brought her lips back up to mine for a deep, lingering kiss.

When we pulled apart, I looked up into her eyes. "You're so beautiful."

She smiled before locking her lips with mine again.

I laid back on the bed, Candy still on top of me.

Her lips lightly grazed my collar bone before she sat up, bitting her lip.

I took in her figure as she slowly pulled her shirt over her head and threw it to the floor. My hands instinctively ran up her body as she reached behind her back, loosening her bra.

I swallowed hard before sitting up, pulling her bra straps down, kissing the newly exposed skin.

She pulled my shirt over my head, my loose hair falling over my shoulders as she reached behind me, helping me remove my bra.

One of her hands cupped my cheek as the other caressed my chest.

My lips parted with a small moan, her lips finding my jawline. "Candy..."

She pulled back, her delicate finders finding the button on my jeans. "Yes..?"

I smirked as she loosened the button, sliding her hand past my panties afterwards.

Her face flushed as my eyes closed on their own, another moan slipping past my lips. "Oh my God..."

She rested her forehead against mine as she slipped a finger inside, then another, her free hand returning to my chest. "Mm, I like it when you make those noises for me..."

My eyes opened, looking deep into hers. "Don't stop..."

She kissed me as another moan threatened to escape.

My head lulled back as my and tightened. "Candy... Please don't stop..."

She wrapped her hand around my neck, picking up the pace with the other. "C'mon Skylar... You're so close..."

I squeezed my eyes shut, every muscle in my body tensing. "Please, Skylar... I wanna hear you..."

My breath quickened, my hand tangling in her hair, the other holding her back for support. "Fuck... Candy..!"

I fell on my back after that, my chest moving up and down. "You're good..."

Candy giggled as she laid next to me, kissing my cheek. "Glad you think so..."

I pressed my lips to hers as I let my hand travel down to her waistline. "Don't get to comfortable... We're just getting started..."

I woke up the next morning wrapped in Candy's arms. For the first time in a long time, I actually felt some warmth in my icy heart.

I sat up, causing her to stir.

"Good morning." She greeted with a smile.

I smiled back before leaning down and capturing her lips with mine. "Morning. I'm gonna go down for some coffee, wanna join?"

"I'll meet you down there."

I kissed her again before getting out of bed and getting changed.

When I walked into the kitchen, Blake and Kat were already up.

I grabbed a cup of coffee before joining them at the table.

"Well, you look happier than usual." Blake said.

I smiled as I sipped my coffee. "What can I say? She's amazing in bed."

They laughed as I felt a kiss on the top of my head. "You better be talking about me." Candy said.

I pulled her into my lap, attacking her face with light kisses. "You bet your cute ass I am."

She laughed, pressing a firm kiss to my lips. "Good..."

"Honestly, I like mope-y Skylar better than flirt-y Skylar." Kat said, breaking up our moment.

We all laughed a little before falling into normal conversation.

Eventually, everyone started to wake up and we decided to hang around the house and swim or something today. Tomorrow though, we would be visiting the cave.

So far I was ok in the house, but I was a little nervous about how I was going to react when we got to the cave...
