Everyone was busy getting ready to go for Mohit's engagement function. Around six at evening everyone got ready and left for the function.

It took about an hour to reach their in law's house. Mili was with Viraj and his friends. Everyone got received very happily and politely according to all rituals.

Viraj, Arjun and Ishaan was constantly watching Jiyah who is looking very tensed and nervous even at function.

" Jiyah what happened ? Are you okay ? " Ishaan asked with concern

" Yeah I am good . Don't mind me " she said while hiding behind Viraj.

Whole Kandpal family was greeting with their future in law's.

" Deadly gorgeous" Viraj commented looking at Mili more like he was admiring her.

" Our family functions are always like this. Lights, color, music, relatives, crowded. It's a kind of good feeling " Mili replied with happiness but Viraj's expression changed into a guilty one.

" If it wasn't for me then you should have also get a wonderful family like this right ? " He asked

" What are you saying sir ? Our situation was totally different and why you are blaming yourself ? Getting married to you choice was mine and we both agreed to each other what kind of relationship we have? " Mili passed a warm smile .

" Thank you for understanding me " he replied by patting on her shoulders gently.

" Mili..... " An unfamiliar sound fell on Viraj's ears . He turned back to look at who called his wife

A man came who looked in his mid twenties stood in front of Viraj and Mili with a wide grin on his face . Viraj began to analyze him from head to toe with his knitted eyebrows.

" Who ..." Before he could ask who is he Mili interrupted

" Abi......" She called out his name in an apologetic tone. Before she could say anything he just embraced Mili into a tight hug.

" Where were you girl ? " He asked in between their hug. Viraj was looking at them with a wide opened mouth and eyes. Jealousy was eating his brain in it's full speed. Actually he was fuming.

Viraj quickly cleared his throat to divert their attention and notifying Mili that her husband is watching her.

" If you don't mind let me know who are you gentleman ? " Viraj asked putting a fake smile on his face and sounded as polite as he can.
Abi looked at Mili and then at Viraj with a confused face.

" I forgot to introduce. Viraj this is Abhishek , Mohit fiance's brother . Abi this is Viraj my..." She stopped for a second and hesitated to talk further

" husband. I am her husband" he pulled Mili to his side by encircling his left hand around her waist and said like Mili is his territory don't put your eyes on that.

" Mili he must be kidding right? " Abhishek asked and that shock was still on his face.

" wow this man .... " Viraj scoffed at Abhishek and said

" No man why should I joke around about such things. She is my really my wife. Now do you want to see our marriage certificate?" he wanted to scream out to this whole world that Mili is his wife and no one can claim on his wife.

" Abhishek... " Before it getting into a heated argument Mili's mom interrupted them.

"We are really sorry Abhishek that we didn't notify you about this matter . Mili got married to him and Viraj is her husband. " Viraj looked at Mithila with a confused face because there is no chance his mother in law accept him as her son in law.

" But Aunty... Mili and I ? I mean Mili was already engaged to me then how ? ..." He was all confused

" From what I know before your engagement Mili cut all ties with you and ran to Delhi . So you should admit the fact that Mili doesn't wanted to be with you. " Viraj just spatted at Abhishek more like indirectly he was telling him to get lost.

" Viraj .. stop it . What are you doing ? " Mili looked at Viraj with a frowned face. She tried to take off his arms from her waist but more she tried grip got more tightened

" Mili we need to talk .. " Abhi said

" Yes of course you can. Talk it out " Viraj wasn't even allowing him to complete what he wants to say

" I said I want to talk with Mili. That means only Mili we don't want any other disturbance " Abhi emphasis on the name only Mili

" That's not the right manners Abhishek . When her husband is standing here alive what you want to talk with my wife all alone. And why do you even think that I will allow that ? " argument was getting heating up like at any time they can jump into a fight

But fortunately the function got started and everyone cheered for Mohit and his fiance while they exchanged their rings. Giving a death glare at Abhi Viraj took Mili along with him without taking his hands from her waist.

Viraj and Mili was standing there with their crossed hands. When Mohit exchanged the ring Viraj looked at Mili and then to her hands.

" You didn't feel bad that I never put a ring you " he asked

" Viraj sir , let me ask you something ? Are you really okay ? I mean you are behaving so weird from yesterday evening and today also. " She asked with a confused face.

" What do you think ? Why I am weird ? " He asked playfully

" How should I know that ? " She replied

" You are such a naughty girl Mili and a tough one too. But it's okay I like tough ones than easy going. It will be more fun " he pinched on her nose playfully and winked at her. She stood there dumd found by all his actions.

" What does he mean by that ? " She looked at Viraj who walked away from her and joined with his friends.

Viraj and his friends including Jiyah were trying out the sweets that kept there which was Dehradun specials.

" This is good. I never had this type not even at Chandni Chowk " Jiyah commented while taking a bite.

" Dr Jiyah .." suddenly someone called Jiyah and she turned to look at who called her as Dr Jiyah.

" Dr Jiyah ... It's.... It's really you ? " Maya was walking towards her with a surprise and happiness filled face and Jiyah was looking at Maya with her bulged eyes.

Arjun , Ishaan and Viraj was looking at that dramatic scene with a puzzled face.

" Oh shit ! " Jiyah quickly kept her sweet bowl down and vanished into the crowd were Maya followed her .

" Does Jiyah knows that girl ? " Arjun asked to Ishaan

" I don't know. " Ishaan replied.

They three saw Maya catching Jiyah from the crowd. Maya was trying to talk with Jiyah but she wasn't ready to hear anything.

" What is happening there guys ? " Arjun asked looking at that weird scene

" I am confused " Viraj replied

When Jiyah turned away from Maya without listening Maya began to cry. She was even trying to held her legs which made three of boys goes really wonder and curious.

Jiyah took Maya from that crowd to an isolated place.

" Come lets take a look " Ishaan said. Arjun and Viraj followed him.

They saw Maya and Jiyah talking outside away from all crowd. Maya was still crying and this time Jiyah seemes little soft. She was consoling Maya. After ten minutes of their serious conversation Jiyah assured her something and Maya went inside swiping her tears. Jiyah stood there spacing out and she was sighing a lot.

" What happened? Jiyah are you really okay? " Ishaan quickly approached his wife and enquired. She looked at Ishaan and nodded.

" I want to share an important matter with you " Jiyah said with her worried face.

They four moved towards their car side and sat inside . Atmosphere was really serious.

" Come on Jiyah you are making us nervous ? " Arjun yelled at her after getting fed up with her weird silence.

" Arjun , this is something about you " she looked at Arjun with an apologetic look.

" About me ? " he frowned and asked

" This matter is related to both Arjun and Maya. " Now the atmosphere becomes more and more serious

" Actually I know Maya from five years back. I met her first when I was working at Mumbai. Maya was my senior doctor's patient" Jiyah stopped for a second and took a deep breath

" You were only a resident in an infertility hospital during that time right ? Then how comes Maya ....." Ishaan interrupted but she cut him off.

" Maya desperately wanted a child because her in laws were forcing her to give them a grandchild. So in order to have a peaceful family life she somehow wanted a child as soon as possible. I don't know much details about her personal life . All I know is that she was a special case for my senior. My senior personally know Maya"

" Arjun , from now on you have to listen to me very clearly. Do you remember about a seminar you attended which was conducted by our clinic ? I made you attend that seminar forcefully because a seat was vacant. I was in charge of that meeting it was important to fill out every seats. Do you remember Arjun ? " Jiyah asked to Arjun

"Yes I remember. It was a seminar about artificial insemination or something right ? " he replied

" yeah you are right. At the end of seminar you voluntarily came forward to donate your sperm .."

" What ? " Both Ishaan and Viraj looked at Arjun with a shock

" Guys don't overreact . I was just motivated by that seminar and donated it for a curiousity that's it. " He replied casually.

" Actually that day your sperm was received by someone immediately after you donating it. Because it matches with all requirements that needed for a patient. That recipient was none other than Maya " that confession fell on Arjun's ears like a thunderstorm. Viraj and Ishaan were really shocked

" She received your sperm and got pregnant. Then after ten months she delivered a baby girl who is Sara. " Jiyah completed

" Wait , wait, wait.. let me recollect myself Jiyah. This is more than enough for me to digest. " He raked his hands through hair in frustration

" How can I digest all this Jiyah ? I just donated my sperms because of some curiousity nothing more ."

" So now you are saying that Sara is my child " Arjun looked at Jiyah and asked

" Not legally but biologically. Sara holds both the DNA of you and Maya . Legally sperm donor doesn't have any relationship with the kid that's the rule. Of course you should know that" Jiyah replied

" Congrats man . You became a father " Viraj patted on his shoulder and said with a chuckle

" Here my mind is not even working properly and for you it will be fun right ? " He yelled at Viraj

" So does that girl know it's me who is the donor ? " Asked Arjun

" No , but I have to reveal this to her now. "

" No way . Why should you ? I mean that's against rules . You can't disclose donor's name to receiver " he opposed to that.

" I know that and that's why I was hiding from her all this time. But Arjun Maya is in a pathetic situation. She needs to know about her donor because Sara is sick " Jiyah dropped another bomb infront of Arjun

" What happened to Sara? " He asked

" Sara is diagnosed with leukemia "

" What ? That small child? " Arjun was shocked and he couldn't believe what Jiyah said.

" Fortunately it is starting stage but unfortunately Sara is a small child so it could be dangerous . Medicines and chemo has some limitations to use on such small child. Sara need a bone marrow transplant surgery and for that she needs a donor. Maya is not a match she is Rh positive she already. Another option was Mili who is her family too as well as an Rh negative but she is a hemophilic patient which will be dangerous for Mili"

" Yeah she is " Viraj replied quickly.

" So only match she could think about is Sara's biological father who is you Arjun. She was searching for you like she could but failed but today fortunately she found me . She was begging to me Arjun and how can turn my face when this matter is about a small child's life " Jiyah said

" Poor girl. In this small age " Ishaan mumbled

" What she wants me to do then ? " Arjun asked looking little worried.

" First you both have a talk . She will explain you everything. Since mother is not a match for transplant surgery then father have to be one . You should take some test and confirm it first . Let's hope that small child will be fine. She is the first grandchild of this family and Arjun directly or indirectly you are a reason for that " Jiyah said with a sad chuckle

" This is not the time for that lame joke Jiyah " Arjun replied

After all that serious discussion they went back to attend function. Arjun was really immersed in deep thoughts at the same time he was watching Maya. Sara was clinging towards Maya's shoulder . Looks like she throwing tantrums because she don't want to eat anything.

" I can help you with her" Arjun went to Maya's side and helped her to hold Sara

" Oh thank you so much " she gave Sara to Arjun until she pick some food for Sara.

" She is really picky when it comes to food. Never eats any vegetables and love to eat all non veg dishes. Don't know whom she went when I am a vegetarian." Maya commented while picking the food

" Maybe she is an exact copy of her father who hates Vegetables and die core fan of non veg. " Arjun mumbled looking at Sara who was playing with his hair.

" Mayaa....." A middle aged woman came to Maya with a wide grin of her face. Maya just rolled her eyes indicating she doesn't have any interest in a talk with her.

" Maya after a long time girl . I heard that you came back to your house after all these years."

" Awww such a cute family this might be your husband right ? So handsome" Arjun was looking at that women without getting any clue and Maya wasn't even giving any attention to that lady.

" What's baby's name ? " She asked while pinching on Sara's cheeks

" Sara " Arjun replied

" Honey I think we should move to that side this place is so noisy " Maya turned and said to Arjun in her sweet sound.

" Sorry aunty we are really hungry right now. So please " Maya pulled Arjun with her and moved towards a corner

" What was that ? " Arjun asked

" Such a headache. In every family there will be a BBC channel. From this family it's that women. She came to find something spicy in order publish infront of others. I am sorry I acted like that with you. If I went to correct her you are not my husband then she will open her question bank. " Maya said and sighed heavily.

" I don't mind " Arjun said with a chuckle .

After function Kandpal family went back to their house fixing a date for the marriage. Arjun was really tensed about how Maya will react when she get to know about him. Still he was excited to meet her tomorrow. Now his heart was beating for Sara and Maya. Fortunately or unfortunately he is the reason for that child and also they met even under all bad circumstances.
