Mili's POV

I was trying my best to clear all misunderstandings that happened yesterday but Viraj was not even looking at me . He is only showing his stunkard face at me.

How everything turned like this. I don't have any clue what happened yesterday. Two strange people in a room which was accidental that's what happened in real and that simple matter turned into something like I did adultery ! is that even possible? That girl Haya she is so scary and yesterday the show she put in front of everyone was like I was shivering to utter a single word. I don't know what this Viraj saw in her that he fell blindly for that witch. Now I am even feeling bad for Prathik he is not a bad guy like I expected.  His only mistake is that he is going to marry that girl.

Viraj didn't even had breakfast today. I noticed he skipped lunch also. He is always busy but if he has any very important case then don't even expect that he will move from his chair.

Viraj is already scary but a busy Viraj is more scary for everyone who comes near to him .

" Like this you all are going to work for me ? Good for nothing . If you can do this properly then stay here other wise get out from my firm " I only heard his roaring sound when I was walking toward his room with the documents he asked for.

His Juniors were standing in front of him with their head down and he was throwing some files towards floor in anger. Yesterday's incident was already inside my mind like a nightmare so if I make another mistake he will slaughter me in front of others. I once again checked all files and arranged them as he needs.

Cabin door was already opened widely so I entered without permission.

" Sir files you asked me to collect " I kept them on his table and move aside quickly.

" What about the testimonial of that witness girl which I asked you to collect  Riya where is it ? " He looked at one of his assistant and asked

" Sir she doesn't want to give any testimonial in fact she denied to meet me. " She replied

" So ? So you came back without anything ? Riya if I say that I don't want to give you   this month's salary will you just go back to your seat without saying anything ? " He asked

" Sir.... I tried...but "

" No you didn't. If she denied to meet you then you should have come up with any other plan to collect  evidences. Her friends, any other accomplices , like anything you should have collected anything from them " he shouted and  looked at Riya like he give up on her as his junior

" Farhan what about the footage clips that I asked you to collect ? " He asked to his other junior

" I submitted them . There isn't much When Purab's car passed the highway while returning those clips are not clear because of darkness . Place they dropped him don't have any CCTV camera either " Said Farhan

" What about finger prints. Does his car got any other finger print marks ? " He looked at his Juniors and asked

" Nope , but there is something suspicious that his car doesn't have any other finger print other than steering wheel or door handle. It's like someone deliberately removed all marks . But we can't submit that as evidence right sir ? " One of his junior suggested

" Hmmm . So now we can only relay on one thing, which is  that girl or someone who can be an eye witness for what happened there. " Said Viraj

" Sir but there is one thing. Actually from what we know this is a blackmail case more like an assault case. Victim is already in hospital fighting for her life but from other side some are asking for money . These type of blackmailing is common now a days. If that witness girl is not ready to talk with us then that  means she is also in this or it can be an act. . " Said Farhan

" So what's your point ? " Viraj asked doubtfully

" Instead of making that girl a witness why can't we change her to assailant ? Like that she have to appear in court no matter what ? Then we can proceed further in our own way " Farhan suggested

" That's a nice suggestion but it's risky I mean that can hit us back. We are not sure what really happened there. Purab's testimonial is not clear he was not in his sense during that time so there is a slight chance he actually assaulted that girl . It's really bad that he doesn't remember anything .  If he really harmed her this won't stop within our limit .  Strong evidences are needed and with us other than that eye witness there is nothing as a strong evidence. " while all these heated discussion were going on and to my bad luck suddenly my phone ranged.

Everyone's attention came on me where I tried to switch off the phone. My hands were shaking like hell and threw the phone to floor in an impulse.

" I am sorry I ......" I looked at Viraj with a sorry face . From his face I understood a sorry can't save me from this situation. I am dead.

" Do you think this is a joke ? " He asked in his damn serious voice and stood in front of me with his crossed hands.

" No , I forgot to switch it off . I don't really...... "

" Stop giving such lame excuses Mili. Never did anything good or took any responsibilities related to your job. Every time making problems is your main hobby . Good for nothing, not even helpful for others " He screamed at me . He didn't even consider that everyone were watching this and I was standing there with my head down.

" If you were aware about this case seriousness and difficulty level then you shouldn't have forgotten to switch off your phone . Distracted all time , doesn't even have interest on anything. Always lost in own Dreamworld. Did you even heard what we discussed here ? " Why he is shouting at me like this. It was just a phone call .

I know he is taking revenge on me for yesterday's matter but why ? I mean even if I was with Prathik what's  his problem ?. I am not even his real wife but his actions are like he really cares about me. Show off , he is showing off in front of others. I wanted to say this looking right in front of his face and resign from here but I can't do that since I already came this much. It's only a few days left that I can go to Mumbai branch and do my job. Till then Mili endure him at any cost.

" Sir I was hearing everything. I wasn't distracted like you are saying " I reply back.

" Then tell me why I scolded Riya ? " He asked

Oh god I forget that. What she said ? Is it about CCTV camera ? No that was by Farhan. Then what was it ? What was it?

While I was thinking about it hardly Viraj should have understood that I wasn't really listening to anything. He took a deep breath in frustration and walked towards me.

" Maithili , I am giving you one and half day from this moment. Tomorrow before five I should get the testimonial of that girl . Who is claiming as a victim of Purab's assault case. Do you get that ? " He ordered, he was literally calm while asking me but I know that he is like a volcano which can burst out anytime

" Sir how can....."

" Do you get that ? " Volcano erupted , I am finished. He shouted at me and I jumped from where I was standing..

Yes sir " I quickly replied.

" That will be good for you then because if you failed to submit it then you don't have to come here again. You will be already fired from my firm. " After warning me he turned and get back to his Juniors . I stood there without any clue from where to start or how to start. I am sure that no one is going to help me. One reason is they don't want to . No one really likes me because of my sudden position change from a mere apprentice to Viraj's junior. Second reason is Viraj itself. If he gets to know that someone helped me then he will finish them along with me.

Sameera,  age 24 , working at Grand mall as a sales girl.

" She is  only one year elder than me still .. " I was going through the details of that girl which  I collected from Riya after begging so much.  She already warned me if I say that I am from Viraj associates then she won't meet me and mall security will kick me out.  Then what kind of magic I will show there just to have a talk with her.

Whose help I will seek ? Viraj ! that jerk ,  he is already mad at me  and if I ask for help he will roast me .

Come on Mili whatever it is just face it. If you failed then get ready to pack your things and go straight to Mumbai that will be the only way.

Morning Viraj went earlier than  usual. Today also he skipped his breakfast. If he don't want to eat then for whom I am making all these ?

I put them back to refrigerator while muttering about him. Before I was leaving someone called me but when I tried to attend the call my phone gets switched off.

" What the ..? I charged today morning then what happened ? " I quickly took attery and put it back then restarted it . That time it showed fully charged but after few seconds it again get switched off. I think this phone is finally bidding his farewell from me. After all I was torturing him for past few days there is a limit for everything even if it is machine or human. I am the only one is enduring everything without any shame.
Wowww Mili you are leading a very good life girl. I wish no other girl live a life like mine.

After all those whining I finally reached at Grand Mall. Mall wasn't that much crowded because it was morning.

While strolling around the mall I found the shop at which Sameera  working. It's fashion store of this mall . I went inside like a customer and tried to track her. After half an hour of my hard-work I found Sameera. I waited there until she got free from her current customer and then I approached her

" Sameera ?" I called her by name. She looked at me surprised like how I know her name

" If you don't mind I wanted to discuss something with you when you will be free ? What about lunch time ? " Asked me.

" Who are you ? Why should I talk with a stranger ? " Sameera replied

" You are right. I am sorry I didn't introduced myself. Hai I am Maithili Kandpal , you can call me Mili . Actually I am from Viraj associates so now you would know that who am I and why I wanted to talk to you ? "  I noticed how her face expression changed when I introduced myself.

" Sorry I don't have anything to talk. You can leave this is my work time don't disturb me and please stop coming here or contacting me to become an eye witness because I an not an eye witness. I wasn't there whatever happened to that girl. I do not even know that girl then why should I say anything about it. I still don't understand how my name came into this mess " she was really angry and scolded me for disturbing her.

" We know you were there also you witnessed everything. We know everything because the person who got blamed by this mess remembered your face very well. When you were partying like mad dogs he took a selfie with you. You shouldn't have remember anything in that drunken state but fortunately there was something like that. Now also you don't want to admit you don't know anything ? " This time I also raised my voice a bit.

" What's happening here ? " Suddenly I heard a deep husky voice from our back. I turned back with me Sameera also

" Sorry sir customer doesn't find the brand she actually wanted. So that she was annoyed a little " why she lied ? Man who was standing in front me seemed to be a gentleman . Well dressed in a navy blue suit . Not that much aged most probably he will be in his middle thirties.

" Sorry for her bad behavior madam. If you have any complaint you can write it in our customer review book or you can directly complain to me . " He said gently

" To you ? But who are you ?" I asked

" I am in charge of this shop or most precisely I own this shop. My dad owns this mall. Aakash ,Aakash Saigal that's my name " he forwarded his hands for a shake hand. I forwarded mine and I tell my name that's it.

I saw he was gazing at me in a weird way from head to toe which I felt really disgusting.
He sent Sameera to attend other customers but he stood there and came to talk with me. I somehow escaped from him and went out.

I waited outside for hours expecting to talk with Sameera when she goes for lunch. But to my surprise she herself came  and told me that she is ready to talk with me but there was a condition.
