You left me in the Darkness
with a piece torn from my heart.
Maybe it was hour plan to break me
from the very start.

We had beautiful memories,
but now they are gone.
It was so hard to let go
knowing that you moved on.

We were perfect for each other!
You were mine but you ran away.
It was so heinous
the way you labeled me insane.

Tears tainted your pretty face
every time that you came back.
But when you left, you had called me
an abusive maniac.

You were my favorite toy:
a delicate doll in a cute dress.
I worked hard to keep you in my grasp,
but that put you through too much stress.

Maybe I'm just being selfish;
it's the way humans are.
And that is when I realized...
I make my own scars.
