She who shall smile,

the brightest of grins,

shall hide her depression

Deeply Within.

He who shall be seen

as the strongest of men,

shall hide his pain

Deeply Within.

And when people would ask,

"How do you feel?"

they'd smile and say "Good,"

and never heal.

Never try to wear a mask

to cover the pain you're in.

Never try to hide what lies

Deeply Within.

This was my first officially written poem that I still have in my notebook, and as you read, you'll find out how it steps up to new topics.
