This notebook is my heart;
every page is a beat.
My life will be over
when this story is complete.

If you've read from this book,
even a rhyme or two,
it must mean that I
trust and care for you.

This is my heart,
my mind in written words.
This is a beautiful path I've taken
with a purpose still blurred.

If I ever decide to read to you,
it means you had what it took.
You managed to steal my heart
and gain access to my notebook.

Here are my emotions,
freed onto paper from their cage.
Self loathing and loneliness,
but rarely nature or rage.

So I share with you my pain.
All emotions and thoughts from my heart.
