The Loud family was on a road trip to see the Grand Canyon when their van, dubbed "Vanzilla" broke down in the middle of the dessert.

"Dang it!" Lynn Sr. called out.

"Well at least we're near a town." Lynn's wife Rita pointed to a sign that read Perfection Nevada. "Maybe someone here can help."

"Yeah, and with a name like perfection, what can go wrong?" Lynn Sr. agreed.

...

Lynn Rita and their 11 kids got out of the van and headed into town.

"Well I'm not sure I'd call this place Perfection." Lori pointed out as they made it into the town.

The so-called town was nothing but a few buildings and dirt roads with nobody in it.

"Perfection? More like Rejection." Luan laughed.

"This place is a ghost town." Lincoln the only boy child pointed out.

"Hmm, ghosts." Lucy said with a faint smile.

"Clear skies, flat ground as far as the eye can see." Luna pointed out. "I bet this place has some killer acoustics."

The family headed into the town store.

"Hello, anyone here?" Lynn Sr. said.

"Oh man I gotta pee!" Lynn Jr. complained. She spotted a sign that said restrooms and rushed to relieve herself.

...

"Much better." Lynn Jr. sighed in relief as she... did her business

Then she noticed something written on the wall.

"Huh? What's this." She read the graffiti a few times over with a confused look on her face.

"Now that is a strange word." Lynn Jr. said. Then she pulled out her phone and took a picture of the message.

"Hey Lucy." Lynn said as she got out of the bathroom. "I found something in there you might like."

"Ew!" Lucy said. "I do not want to see that!"

"I do!" Lana called out.

"No, it's nothing like that." Lynn Jr. said. "Someone wrote one of those things on the bathroom door. You know those poems. What are they called? Those 5 7 5 things."

"A haiku?" Lucy said.

"Yeah check it out." Lynn showed Lucy her phone.

Lucy read the poem out loud

"Stay off of the ground.

Do not make a single sound.

Beware the graboids."

"What the heck is a graboid?" Lynn Jr. asked. "Is it like Japanese or something?"

"I have no idea." Lucy said.

"Lisa, you're a genius." Lynn Jr. turned her attention to her younger sister. "What's a graboid?"

"Probably some made up word." Lisa said. "Nothing I've ever heard of."

Lori pulled out her phone. "Ugh I have like zero bars here."

The rest of the family pulled out their phones to see if they could get a signal. None of them could.

"Well this is just great!" Lynn Sr. complained. "We're stuck in the middle of nowhere and we can't even call for help!"

Luna walked out of the store.

"HELLO!" Luna yelled hearing the echo call back to her.

"Well when opportunity comes knocking," Luna said. "You gotta answer. Hey any of you guys wanna hear me play my guitar out here. With this echo it's gonna be rockin'!"

"Too much sun for my taste." Lucy said.

"Well that sounds better than standing around in hear." Lynn jr. said.

"Sure." Leni said. "It's a good opportunity to work on my tan."

"I'd love to hear you play." Lincoln said.

Lincoln, Leni, and Lynn met Luna out by the broken-down van in the outskirts of the ghost town called Perfection.

Luna pulled a pair of large speakers out of the back of the van. She plugged her guitar into the speakers and turned the speakers on.

"Seems to be working." Luna smiled. "You dudes have any requests?"

"How about Footloose." Leni suggested. "I watched that movie the other day and I am totes in love with Kevin Bacon."

"Good one sis." Luna said.

Luna struck her guitar strings and the sound echoed through the dessert valley.

"Sweet." Luna said.

She started to play the hit 80s song.

"I've been working so hard." She began to sing.

"I'm punching my card.

Eight hours, for what?

Oh, tell me what I got."

Then the music cut out.

Luna turned around to see that both of her speakers had vanished.

"Bogus man!" Luna said. "What happened to my speakers?"

She turned to her siblings who just shrugged.

Suddenly she felt herself drop a few inches as if the ground below her gave out. Confused she looked down to see that her feet were buried in the dirt.

"What the?" Luna said.

Then she sunk further into the ground. She was now buried up to her knees.

"GAH!!!!! Help!" Luna yelled. Her three siblings rushed to her aid.

She sunk again, now up to her waist.

"DUDE! SOMETHING'S GOT ME!!!!" Luna yelled as she felt something wet, slimy, and warm wrap around her legs.

"I got ya Luna!" Lynn yelled taking Luna's hands and trying to pull her free.

"Leni help me dig!" Lincoln said.

Lincoln and Leni got to their knees and started to dig at the dirt around Luna's sinking body.

"HELP! HELP!" Luna continued to yell. She was now up to her chest.

Lynn wrapped her arms around Luna to try and get a better grip.

"I'm too young to die!" Luna cried just before her head was pulled under the ground.

Luna's hands were still sticking up and Lynn held on with all her might.

"Help me!" Lynn yelled. "I can't hold her by myself!"

Lincoln and Leni grabbed onto Lynn to help her pull.

"We're not letting you go sister!" Lynn yelled. Her hands were getting sweaty and she was losing her grip.

Luna's fingers slipped from Lynn's grasp and she was swallowed into the earth forever.

"NNNnnnnnnoooooo!!!!!" Lynn yelled.

...

Luna was suddenly surrounded by darkness, but somehow, she was still alive. Whatever sort of cave she had landed in was warm almost hot, and very wet.

She took out her phone and turned on the flashlight expecting to find herself in a wet cave.

Her jaw dropped when she found herself to be in a red fleshy sack full of slimy mucus. She was in some creature's stomach.

the fleshy sack was much too slim for her to stand up. She tried to balance on her hands and knees and keep her head above the thick, warm, slimy fluid that filled most of the stomach, leaving a small air pocket for Luna to breath in.

the sack of muscle and skin was constantly squeezing and moving making it hard for Luna to keep her balance.

"H-help! HELP!" Luna called out, though she knew it was useless at this point.

She took in deep breaths, it was getting harder and harder to breath with each breath. The air burned her lungs as she breathed in. To add to that it stank. The worst thing Luna had ever smelled, and she has smelled some really bad things.

"Is there anyone out there!?!?" Luna called out. "Because it's getting harder and harder to breath."

Soon she could feel a slight burning on her skin. Like a sunburn that seemed to slowly be getting worse.

Tears rolled down her face as she realized that this was it. She was going to die and there was nothing she could do. Her life started flashing before her eyes.

She decided to take these final moments of her existence to reflect on the life she had lived.

She had a loving family with ten siblings who adored her. She had friends who cared about her. Her life had been a good one.

"Goodbye." She said through trembling lips.

She was now becoming lightheaded from the fumes. Her mind trailed off and her panic started to fade. A lazy smile spread across her face as she started to hallucinate seeing lights dancing around her head.

"What was I doing again?" Luna giggled turning around on her back.

"Oh, Sam this mud bath is amazing." Luna said, believing herself to be at a spa with her girlfriend Sam Sharp. "But what is that smell? I think Lynn farted."

"Oh, I think I got sunburned at the water park Sam." Luna groaned. "My skin feels like it's burning."

Luna moaned in pain as the burning grew more and mor intense.

"UUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH." Luna moaned and clenched her body. "It hhhuuuurrrrtttssss."

She started to thrash her arms and legs around. She began to hyperventilate as her oxygen was completely depleted.

"GGGGGGYYYYYAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Luna let out one final pain filled moan before blacking out completely.

...

"Well the landline here seems to be dead too." Lynn Sr. said.

"I might be able to fix up Vanzilla." Lana suggested.

Just then Leni burst through the door with Lincoln and Lynn fallowing.

"SOMETHING'S EATEN LUNA!!!!!!!!" Leni shrieked.
