Moon Mirae has always been a bit outside the box. Unique. Mirae has an ability most wouldn't wish upon anyone. Mirae' dreams can manifest & easily manipulate those around her. It is highly fueled from her strongest emotions. So what happens when she conjures the darkest magical creatures in existence ?

"The Cool Hue of Mirae"

Mirae walked with her mother. "Must I really see a dream expert ? I don't think it is really needed ?" Her mother looked just about done explaining why they were coming to dream expert in their community. "좀 진정해주실래요? 전 가볍게 내린 결정이 아니에요, 미래 씨." (Can you just calm down ? I didn't make this decision lightly, Mirae.) Magic was nothing new in this world. It also wasn't necessarily feared, but some were wary of those possessed magical abilities. "Is Dad not going to come ?" Mirae rarely sees her father often. He never engages with her & seems to drown himself in his work.  

"You're father is busy, but he will try his best to join your next session with you." Mirae knew it was nothing to be too upset about. This was nothing new to her. Her parents either both are invested in her, or there is an excuse for why one of them nearly ignores her. It wasn't long before they were sat before the dream expert, Dr. Jeong. "This is a safe space, Mirae. I promise to help you as much as I can. Nothing that happens or that is discussed here will be spread maliciously." 

Mrs. Moon gave Dr. Jeong a small strained smile. "Her ability is getting out of control. Just the other day she summoned something to trip one of her classmates. The child broke their arm because of her." Dr. Jeong took note & directed his attention to Mirae. "How did you feel in that moment ? How did you summon the object that broke your classmates arm ?" 

Mirae rolled her eyes. Must she really answer these kinds of questions. "화가 났던 것 같아요. 하지만 저는 어떤 물건도 소환한 기억이 없습니다." (I was angry, I guess. But I don't remember summoning any object.) Dr. Jeong' eyes said he was heavily concerned with what Mirae had just revealed, but his face was calm. Mrs. Moon couldn't stress this enough. She felt like her daughter was deliberately lying. Even in this moment, she felt Mirae was not trying to take any responsibility. 

Mirae soon stormed out. Dr. Jeong looked at her mother. "Mirae' ability could've caused her to blackout. Even daydreaming can affect her ability, Mrs. Moon." Could her daughter really have done what she did unknowingly ? "Is there anything you can give me for Mirae ? Any ideas on how to stop these sudden outbursts ?"

Dr. Jeong sighed. There was nothing really wrong with Mirae. He also didn't feel that she needed medication. "일단 지켜보자구요. 저는 현재 미래에 대한 엄격한 감독이 필요하다고 생각하지 않습니다." (Let's just monitor her for now. I don't feel that Mirae needs strict supervision at the moment.) Mirae was soon being driven home by her mother. She kept quiet. No one wanted a huge argument. Once home Mirae went to her room without a word. 

In a fit of rage Mirae smashed a jar of Lavender leaves her mother had gifted her. It was to help Mirae sleep peacefully. What did smashing the jar mean  exactly ?
