Saying Yes To The One I Love

(A.N. I don't own Nauto or any of the character's, but if I did it would be amazing. Also it might be a little OOC, and has nothing to do with Naruto's actually show. Most of this will be done in Sasuke's P.O.V., and he is really OOC because he is in love.)

Naruto P.O.V.
I sat there, my legs tucked under my thighs holding my body weight. My focus on the screen in front of me began to blur, and I knew that I would pass out if he didn't return soon. So stubbornly, I forced myself to stay awake by staring deeply into the screen but the weight of needed sleep soon swallowed me whole. Without much thought, my sleep deprived eyes fell closed, my legs were sprawled across the coach with my arms hanging off the edge, light snores escaping my slightly parted lips.

Sasuke's P.O.V.

Tch, that dobe might still be awake waiting for me at home. I though with a sigh, pressing the key into the lock and turning it gently. I stepped in and locked the door behind me, putting the bags on the kitchen counter I went to look for Naruto in the living room. A light emitted from the T.V. screen, casting a dim light over the blonds body on the sofa in the middle of the room. I felt annoyed that the smaller man would push himself to stay awake for me, knowing that I wouldn't return home until late.

Naruto has spent the last year living with me, trying his hardest to be by my side when I'm busy with work. He would try to wait for me even though he gets up early in the morning, and gets off late in the evening. But of course not as late as I do, which somehow gave him the impression to stay awake and await my arrival. I would lecture him about this, but somehow I could never stop him from trying to do what he wanted.

My arms were wrapped around the smaller man, holding him bridal so he curled into my chest. I took light and easy steps as I carried him easily to our bed, not surprised that when I tried to lay him down his arms were snaked around my neck and locked there. A small smirk fitted my lips, so I stood up right and glared down at the man in the darkness. Instead of saying anything to me he lifted himself in my arms so that his lips could meet mine, and to make it easier I pressed in halfway for him.

His soft pink lips rested on mine, and neither of us made any further move. In fact, I wasn't surprised when he pulled away to stare at me through the darkness. I of course stared back as best as I could, letting a smile portray knowing no one could see or feel it but me. One of Naruto's hands left from my neck to touch my face, and before I could help myself he felt my smile.

"How was work?" He asked, pulling his hand away slowly from my face as I sat down on the bed so he sat in my lap on the edge.

"Tiring, like always. But the real issue of tonight is why I found you sleeping on the couch, again?" I turned on the lamp next to the bed side, so that I may watch his expression and so he could see mine. I watched Naruto shrug and look away from my careful stare, he shifted in my lap knowing that I would get an answer.

"I was waiting for you to come home..." He answered in a whisper so small I could hardly hear, even with the house in complete silence.

"Tch, dobe." I stared down at him, my eyes were soft but my voice was stern. He was still looking away making me unsure of what the blonde thought in my arms.

He finally looked back at me and smiled that brilliant sun warming smile, "Hey, you haven't called me that in over... a few years! Don't start again, bastered. Also you know I hate waiting for you to come back. I don't see why you've got to work so much, even Sakura sees me more then you. And we don't even live near each other!"

"Oh, so Sakura had been coming over, huh?" I teased, raising my eyebrows at him. I almost laughed at the small distraught expression he gave me, like I had destroyed his world by joking about an unreal affair.

"Sasuke! I would never- I mean come on! Hmpf, you know she's married right? She talks about her commitment and never dying love for the guy, and I can't stand him." He crossed his arms, his face showed deep signs of agitation.

Taking his distracting anger as a chance to tackle his venerable being, I lifted him over and flipped him on the bed. He automatically laughed and laid on his back, letting me hover over him with an undenying smile of my own. "Well, if that's the way things are, we should too." I suggested, placing my hands on his hips and leaning between his legs so I could properly pepper kisses his neck.

He giggled, bringing his hands up to my shoulder to hold me back but it doesn't work to well. "W-what? Heh. Stop it tickles. Sasuke!" He complains squeezing my shoulder, and so I stop and chuckle at the blush on his cheeks. "What is it that we sh-should we do?" He asked with a little more control in his voice.

"We should," I paused, giving one last kiss to his neck and sat up better to look him in his ocean blue eyes. "Get married."

Naruto's scarred cheeks glew a darker red if that was possible, and even after all these years he still blushed to my touches. "M-married? Really? You w-want to get married?" He bit his lip.

I leaned down so my lips pressed against his again, but this time I moved them against his. Twisting my head I took a small moment to speak, "Yes." As a reply before crashing my lips back on his, my hands ran up his sides as our kiss escalated quickly. When he had finally allowed my tongue to roam his mouth he fought for dominance, but each time I won.

"I love you." He mumbled in our kiss, I pulled away to stare him in his eyes again. What made me love this annoying blonde? The one who grew up after all these years. The one whom I used to hate, or not hate but not to be fond of. The one who admitted his love for me all those years ago, and even received a beating from it. Though, I knew why I loved him, and I know that I plan to never let him go.

I lay on him and press my face into his neck, "I love you, too." I merely whispered, closing my eyes in the comfort of his body heat. Everything felt perfect, except one small answer was missing to make this night complete. I lifted my head, staring at his lids I smirked, rubbing circles on his skin with my thumbs.

"Naruto," at the sound of his name his eyes opened up. They twinkled, making him look gorgeous when he smiled. My heart fluttered, and mind you that this was a very non-Uchiha thing that just happened, but I pushed pass it. I lean over his face, our noses were nearly touching as I looked him in the eyes. "Naruto," I hummed his name again," Uzumaki, will you marry me?"

He willingly closed the gap between our lips, pressing them together as if sealing our love. I kissed him back, my thumbs were now gripping his side's rather than making circles. I wanted to ensure him, and even myself, that no matter the answer I would always love him.

When he finally pulled back to return his head to rest on the pillow, we stared at each other as if we were both seeing stars in each other's galaxies. I couldn't help but continue to smile, because I was indeed infected by Naruto. He seemed to have taken attention to this small detail, raising his soft hand to rest on the side of my face. He ran his thumb light over my lips, as if it were to confirm that this was real, that this was my smile.

"Yes." He said softly, lifting his dazed eyes from my lips to meet my own. "Yes." He repeated again, and he looked so adorable and amazing that I had to take advantage of that moment.

I leaned down to give him more of my peppered kisses all over his neck, because I was dying to hear him laugh again. Within seconds I had him squirming and laughing, his hands curled into the clothes on my back with his legs tightly wrapped around my waist. "Sasuke!" He complained, "Sasuke, p-please st-ahp! My ch-cheeks hurt!"

That little comment made me pull away, as I myself started to laugh. This wonderful person, was mine forever and no matter what. I kissed him on his nose, pressing my forehead against his I sighed contently. "Forever?"

"Forever." He confirmed, and his smile hadn't ceased since.
