It's being trampled by words
Of others that are trapped

It's an endless loop
Of all the bad things others
Have said about you
repeating like a mantra

It's not wanting to wake
In fear that someone will
Confirm your thoughts
If you wander outside

It's talking to a friend
Trying to explain
The twisted thoughts
Within your brain

Only to be met
With judgment
Feeling worthless
